I focus on buying and selling most major altcoins, and of course BTC. And if you really want to buy, buy coins that have a clear reputation and stable price movements.
It could be that besides BTC you can buy stable coins, but it all comes back to your belief in altcoins. We can always take advantage of the situation to take a little or a lot of profit from every purchase and seller of altcoins that have been selected.

i think we are still far from altseason, you said that alts are poised to pop hard but actually just few of them which popped
most of alts still on downtrend until now. or alt pump 5% and dump 20% then people say it's altseason
because of that, im doubt to buy any alts, i just believe that bitcoin is best buying until altseason happens

Most users are seeing ghosts, there is not an altcoin season as of right now, this could change of course but do not be deceived by them, for an altcoin season to happen the demand for altcoins will need to go up, but why the demand could go up? Bitcoin has been doing well for an important part of this year and there are still some hopes it has a strong close, when you see this then altcoins have no opportunity, no one is going to sell their bitcoin to buy altcoins when there is a decent chance that bitcoin will move up at the end of the year.

I agree with you. Altcoin bullrun should happen when BTC will hit his previous AHT and this should happens after halving. So we can see a huge altcoinbullrun next pring and may be will see another 100x coins.

If you mention about potential coins ? Actually we can find it listed in CMC those top 10-20 coins are potential coins. But need to wait on when they increase the price, As of now they are probably in a dip price and ill think it is the time for us to buy and waiting bull run be happen.

You definitely noticed that, the year is very difficult for those who have a lot of Altcoins in their cryptocurrency portfolios. My portfolio drawdown is more than 70%. There is only hope for next year.

I don't think investing on alts in good for a long run, in this current market condition people are buying alts for daytrading that's why the growth of altcoins is so slow because it's always up and down and it reallt fit for daytrading. If you really want to invest i a few years, bitcoin is the most potential coin right now that will have a price pump in the next year or next 2 year because after the halving there must be a price pump either it's instantly after the halving or we have to wait several months just like the halving in 2016 before.

Right now I am out of alts completely. Alts have bottomed out and I can't see any sign of recovery. Situation has been same for months now. Since Bitcoin made a jump in April this year, Alts started going down. Since then, they are only in bearish cycle. Also, the volume is coming to Bitcoin only. alts have a right to exist in any case. classic utility tokens have the problem with price stability because it is practically non-existent.
but in my opinion, issues like security tokens are only just coming up and not yet at their peak.
i wouldn't say that the alts don't interest anyone so i wouldn't say. if it's a safe investment or not everybody has to decide for himself.
but it's also often about using tokens and not just winning fiat to run after them.

Definitely I will agree with you on that, they are very cheap at the moment because they were dump heavily.
Majority of the altcoins in the market dropped more than 10 times on its all time high price, and that's the reality if we check on their price history.
That said, we should view that as an opportunity and not be afraid that the coin might just disappear.

As long as you do due diligence, you'll be able to find the best coin at your choice, but there is no guarantee you can choose the right coin that could give you a profit, but at least you made some effort to research which is a basic requirement.

We definitely cant ignore alts, many of them are becoming very popular. When you compare their prices from the prices in 2017 now most of them are down, but if you compare the same alts and their prices now and when they are before 2017, we are still up, many people forget that fact. Entire crypto market is growing!
Cheap alts are attractive to many people. Instead to buy mBTC's you can buy whole coins, hundred and thousands of them for the same money, and some people see a big chance in some alts, and its sure that some of them have a very promising future, just which ones is the question.

Altcoins give bigger profit than bitcoin, but we can't have certain timeline to experience the profit. It happens unexpected same, and we need to be lucky to get good profit out of altcoins. Over these days there is no big growth with altcoins, investing now will get much big profit but people go with bitcoin which is all because of the market it has gained over the short term.

Above user holds good altcoins which are almost same as bitcoin, because there is nothing to fear of the profit. It'll give assured return on the investment someday.

Although I think that good alts will recover in time, it seems like right now is a bad time to buy.
We've been treading water in a narrow price range for a while now, and whenever it is tested the test is always downwards. We are dropping again today. For me this suggests BTC dominance might continue to rise for a while yet.

Not all Alts have a bad reputation, for example Alts ranks high.  I still buy, invest and hold lots of Alts but not the new Altcoin that I invested. Especially now that the dominance of Bitcoin is increasing, making many people doubt Alts. We can get greater profits from Alts, if we are good at doing analysis.
