how much did you bet ? how can you say that you cant recover your bets  .  if you are betting huge and you ended up with low balance then its nearly impossible to recover your losses but you can still bet , you will never know what if you will end up on winning streaks ? like what happened to me before where i max out the balance that i left and i win 4 times in a row , resulting for me to recover my previous losses pretty easily but the way i do is risky and wont happen oftenly   .

That's a decent strategy, betting on higher odds usually brings profit based on my experience also.
When I was still new in sports betting, I though winning is easy so I bet on the favorites all the time but despite of winning more, I still realize that my bankroll is negative.

Before I bet, I make sure that I study every team so I can know where to put my money but sometimes, when I'm so busy I just put my money on a team I think can won the fight but unfortunately I loss money on that bet which I regret so much since I bet my whole allowance for the week that time. I think its normal to regret on gambling because we always think that we are lucky to get the profit yet we failed.

You should not feel regret , otherwise bad things will come after you. How? You'll try to recover what you think it as a loss which I'm sure it won't be a happy ending but a more sadder and regret feeling.

Believe me I've been through that kind bad memories several times and now I've gained my experience to not doing that anymore.

As a gambler, i have too many regrets why i changed the bet when my target number has been picked but i have the most regretting bet i've ever experience when i was playing in bitvest.io, i was betting 0.0003 btc per game in plinko and my row was customized in purple and my highest multiplier is 1250x i was keep playing 0.0003 while alternating rows in blue row and purple row now, the most regretting part is when i played the blue row now the highest payout n blue row is 4 which is the same row as 1250x in my customized row and much of my surprise it hit the 4x i regretted that play and instead to play in purple i could win 0.375 btc.

For some people it does but intuition doesn't work most of the time.Most likely this will vary on how luck you are on a particular day.
For sure most gamblers do experience this change of bets but eventually their first choices do comes out which in result with regret.
