I don't think so, not all coins are created equal, there are coins not worth holding, there are two kinds of coins, coins that you are going to hodl and coins that you will dispose of, and you can differentiate these coins by how they develop their platform and how good is the volume in the market.

yes, for coins that are truly unfit to hold must be sold as soon as possible before they actually lose value and are left behind. even some that are already registered in the exchange can also be a scam.

discarding altcoin will not receive a loss, as long as you replace it with btc and not with bad altcoin.

I have nothing to lose by changing my altcoin to bitcoin in the range of 8k at that time. Unless I buy bitcoin above the price of 13k and then do it until now, obviously I lost $119 if calculated from the current bitcoin price chart.

It is sometimes better to sell your altcoins instead of holding it forever and beg for the price to increase. If you let it go, you open opportunities to invest on other well known coins which includes bitcoin, ETH, LTC etc. You might recover your loss if you sell your coins and invest on other coins.
Just holding it and making no profit at all is just a waste of time. And your suggestions are kinda absurd. Your tokens "may" turn into something but high chance it is going to stay low.

Coins with a bounty are worth selling immediately, and buying top altcoins, because the chance that they will increase in price is much higher.

You made a lot of good points but you failed to point out that holding is totally dependent on the type of coins in your portfolio; in as much as I will advice someone to hold  I won't forget to caution the person to make sure he trusts the coins he is holding. When I say trust, am referring to use case etc. Also, most times, people sell not because they don't want to hold but maybe they have realised the market won't be favourable to them when they hold, instead they will sell and buy back later if deem possible. One thing, I know that is worth having aside knowledge is having a good strategy at all times. Dumping too early isn't a good idea always, although most times it might be worth it and also, holding when you are not sure of the coin isn't a good idea as well.

I think everyone was taught the situation by Bitcoin at 20,000$ , at 14,000$ this is the maximum for this year and last. We will all draw conclusions, we will be smarter and as soon as Bitcoin reaches its peak we will not start the moment!

Now the best action regarding altcoins is to sell at any price and invest all the money in bitcoins, then sit and wait every day watching the prices. As soon as the market starts to grow at least a couple of days, then you can start to gradually buy altcoins and wait for their growth.

You have a point but you might be better off actually looking at the project's status instead of just speculating. Is the project making progress? Are updates being posted, is their blog active? There are lots of things you can do to determine if a project is worth waiting for.

Obviously if nothing new is said about the coin you are holding then the developers have probably already made an exit, so you know now that you should stop hodling nothing and sell!

As you above mentioned, patience plays a major role in the crypto industry. In any case, this event absolutely will change and this statement can make me motivated instead of thinking backward. Small altcoins, just exchange them with BTC if you see a significant swing in their prices as they are unlikely to recover back. While major alt coin, like Eth and others, has a chance to recover good even if they have fallen this year pretty much, they will probably rise pretty decent next year.

Yes, I totally agree with your opinion, because it is clearly proven that a small altcoin or new altcoin when it falls in price will be very difficult to get back up, unlike altcoin ETH, even though it has experienced a price fall but can always rise in the future, and the same thing can also occur in BTC, although often falling prices, can still recover within a certain time.

Holding is good only for the top coins it is always better to sell the tokens once after distribution is made, I suggest to those who are holding tokens to sell right away and invest the sum of money in alts to get from descent profit, those who are holding tokens from ages have suffered massive loss.

The decision to hold is not always beneficial. You have to make sure the coins you hold are indeed potential and will not turn into junk coins. Because not all good coins are held for long periods of time.

Keep on watching and get the latest news about the coins you hold. Because of my previous experience I hold StQ coins because if I sell I lose so I choose to hold but it turns out the longer I hold the price goes down and now the coin is actually a junk coin and has been abandoned by the developer.

If you want to hold. Bitcoin and ethereum coins are good for long-term hold.

That's the thing that often happens in cryptocurrency and we must have a strategy and a decision when to hold on and when to cut bigger losses. And by thinking backwards we can also get experiences about something that we have seen or experienced and can make us more careful in determining the right decision for ourselves.
