I also feel, we have been in the bear market for 2 years and for the next year we can only hope for better.
sometimes I miss people rejoicing to see their investment increase by more than 100% in a span of no more than 3 months.
but now it's very difficult to see things like that.

Indeed its a long bearish trend and until now we dont see any signs of bull run especially for alts.

However I think the halving next year will have an impact for the market thus lets just hope it will really happen.

For this year, I dont think there's a bull run that will happen since we're already in the last quarter but the market is unpredictable so who knows.

BTC is still struggling, remember its ATH was almost $20K but until now it still struggles to go back to $10k range after being dump last month and we don't know what price it could end up this year, it could further fall and we are not in control with that.

It is hard to say that bearish market is over. Even today Bitcoin is just $8000 which is like 60% less than its all time high. For 15000 dollars, I think we have to wait for like 1 year more. For next one year, I think it will remain between $4000 - $13000.

I think things will become a bit better with time. 2 years is a normal time to be in bearish mode. Moreover BTC did came to 10k from 3k So you can't completely say that it is bull market. It did accelerate in between and even now it's quite in the sideways market mode not exactly bear market. Bull market doesn't always means creating new All time highs.

Honestly, altpocalypse has been announced years back, this is not a surprise at all. As soon as the hype had passed, altcoins started to die out. The process is slow, and that is quite a torture for optimists, but they are going away. I can't describe how many experts, analysts, and others have said that only a handful will remain, and it is finally happening. Or, at least, people are finally becoming aware of it.

With bitcoin now trading at $8500 it seems like we are now seeing whats next, the BULL RUN.

My opinion is that this is all just part of the crypto cycle. Like a wheel, sometimes you're on the bottom, but sometimes and you're at the top. Wish i could say the same thing about altcoins tho, it seems bitcoin dominance is proving far too much to be overcome.

Yes, people who understand the cycling system will able to wait for the market recovery, we don't know whether it is a bull run or not but the market situation kept maturing year after year. We are seeing some exceptional volumes which might be higher compared to 2017.

Yeah market is in netral phase right now, we'll just need to wait the big movement from the whale.

That will make the market find good altcoins and the potential can only survive the last wave.  This will help eliminate shitcoin.  Wait for the good news from the top altcoins because they always have plans to prepare in any case.

They have been shitcoins already so they have no future, but this long bear market helps the investors to choose the right coins to invest as good coins are still surviving despite of the significant drop in value. If we see a coins with almost no liquidity, then we can conclude that they could be a shitcoin that we should not invest in.

I would not want to conclude that they are shitcoins already, all these coins have their own ways of operating and their own level of recognition, if Ethereum that is the king of all altcoins can be this low too, what do we expect of those other coins with real use case that are following Ethereum behind.

I believe that bear factor is still the one that is making a lot of these coins look like they are shitcoins, some years back, many of us saw bitcoin too as shitcoins, and we never accepted it until the coin we thought was shit started growing fast till it became popular. This is the same way that I believe in the future of those top altcoins in the market, I believe that over time, they will also grow in value when the bear market is eventually over. We just need to keep supporting and encouraging them.

Don't expect to much in crypto market because if it's time to shine again it will happen but for now.? Observing is the best we can do and still make profit even the market is bearish. No one can say what will next happen in crypto market, as you can see others still continue what they get used to and still waiting for bull run.

The market is down and we have not seen bull run from past year but there is little pump in the prices of altcoin but thats not significant and if we talk about survival of alts they can survive in long run only of the technology is developed and adoptipn is increased by the investors that can surge the prices but if they can't compete they are dead in that period.We have seen the downfall of alts but coins like XRP,LTC,ETH have potential to rise to level of btc dominamce in the market and we might hit price surges soon in the market by the end of 2019.

learned from the pump 2 years ago. because bitcoin pumps after halving. altcoin movements follow bitcoin when it's stable. when bitcoin pumps or dumps. then altoin will dump. but if bitcoin is stable above. then altcoin will pump. waiting for Bitcoin to pump and stabilize, then altcoin pump.

In my opinion, investors are more likely to choose new projects because these are usually projects with a lot of investors and it is easy to raise prices if big news comes out. Now the old coins do not have too much difference in this market and that is the main reason why those coins are forgotten.

I often analyze and research this very carefully every year and I believe that by 2020 we will soon see a great change of this market. Of course it is impossible to predict the next trend but I am sure it will be a good opportunity for you to invest again.
