I agree with you, man. Nobody says crypto can make people rich in a fast way. In crypto, everything is full of risks, so don't expect that once you invest can make it rich. I don't think it's the same as the ponzi scheme. Cryptocurrency is unpredictable, and getting quick profits is not an easy thing to do in cryptocurrency. There is no such thing as getting rich quickly, we must be smart in making decisions when there are opportunities to be able to benefit and of course with the hard work we do to be able to find opportunities that will be able to generate profits.

Some people believed that in 2017 when bitcoin attained ATH of $20K a lot of hodlers who invested in it years back became instant millionaires thus many newbies thinks that cryptocurrencies is a get rich quick scheme judging it with how btc pumped, however forgetting the fact it is unpredictable as you rightly said I will rather stick to making a short profit with a small risk thus take my profit and start all over again rather than taking a risk that is beyond my control.

I don't think there is anything wrong with quick profit because basically we at crypto are looking for profit. Indeed investing in the long run is a good choice but seeing sometimes extreme price changes, I think securing profit is a safe choice

You can only get rich quickly by luck. In most cases you need to deploy huge amount of work in order to achieve your dreams. If you are an investor crypto is a perfect solution for you if you have high risk appetite. We are all aware of the volatile nature of the crypto markets. That means you will go through up and down periods. And first of all you should never invest in crypto if you don't believe it will be a big part of our future.

If I were you I would diversify my portfolio with a conservative approach. If Bitcoin is going to be the mainstream currency of our world in the future then you don't need to invest much to become a very wealthy person. Keep in mind that this is just my 2 cents and should not be taken as an investment advice.

There are a lot of options in the market and what you really want to do is entirely up to you. If your current options are not working out for you, and you no longer believe in the project, or you do not see it to have prospects, rather wasting time on that, you can just trade the coins, and switch to a more safer option.  Crypto market is not a get rich quick scheme , but several people have fallen into the trap of ponzi crypot projects. Although alot of people got scammed in ponzi crypto projects a few years back many are still falling as we speak .
but if you think that is what works for you then make your choice .
 
But in my opinion i would say crypto is not ponzi , ponzi scheme is only brought in by scammers with the intention of defrauding people,  so stay away if you can and stick to the real crypto project whose profits is determined by the power of demands and supply and depending on the use case of such projects.

Holding is very hard to do now, most people are doing the day trade, small profit but if you wil put them together you are having a good amount.

You can change your option depending on the market situation. If you see BTC dominance or market goes sideways, you can stick to your same strategy and try to gain some profit. If market is bad, I try to get rewards from projects and make some profit out of them. So usually it depends on how the cryptocurrency market is going.

Most of the people don't have patience to stick to the same project they've invested to they switch to another which for me never worked as I soon as I switched , the coin went skyrocket in price and I lost money ...since then I stick to the same project and I make further investments to another without making the switch of funds. This past few years and still ongoing, crypto has been one of the most favorite ponzi scheme of scammers as they can easily scam on it, good thing the people now becomes wiser and they prefer trading rather than investing in ICO/IEO as majority of it were actually scams.

Sometimes it begins to seem to me that this is a complex branched Ponzi scheme. When I came to crypto, I sincerely believed in altcoins, after that BTC was a priority. Now I generally doubt crypto. But I stay with the altcoins with the hope that someday this will work.
