First, you did not mention the name of the coins and when it started, yes it is possible there are coins like that but these coins are those earlier coins when the all-time high of every coin is not yet happening, but right now, it's hard for a new coin to reach millions of volumes, although there are but not too many,  and we'll appreciate if you name these coins.

Very few appreciate all the qualities of this market and one of them is that this market is always in a state of change, just when you think that you have figured it out it surprises you, the time in which you could invest in a small coin with almost no volume and then get incredible profits out of it is gone and it is most likely not going to comeback since it is going to be very difficult to replace the coins at the top which have such a huge advantage over the projects being released today.

It can be possible, but it depends on the project if it's good enough or no! I meant not all the ICO projects are good, most of them ended up failing or even scamming, You have to do your own research about every project and then it will be your choice to invest or no. It's based mostly on the Team and how strong the project is. I'm sure that they're still good ICO projects that you can get a decent profit from me if you invest in them.

The low volume is the open gate for pump makers in order to buy all ask orders from the traders, otherwise, it becomes a game between bull-bear sides which is the fair market. The pumped altcoins are usually listed on the small exchange with daily small volume, for cathing the pump before it happens wise traders use volume indicators.  Buying lower can be dangerous unless the dip is exactly triggered by the market price.

There are a lot of cases that was happen but mostly after it increase, a lot of holders do sell it until the price dump because they get their profit and the buyer do not get profit and stuck by the lower price.

This was the most thing they do from a lot of token to get some profit.

I remember blockstamp project when i entered crypto space, i earned some through airdrop and at that time it was trading on a single exchange with very low volume now its a big coin on its own, got listed on hitbtc days back, just because a project has low volume today doesn't mean it won't grow big tomorrow

This is something important, many just look at the numbers on what happened to a coin and then they somehow make the theory that this could happen to any coin but that is not true, if a coin that went through the process of starting small and then becoming the success that we know today was backed by great developers and a great concept and that is what it has allowed them to grow so much, so if you can find a coin like that this could happen to you but the chances of doing so are very low.

There are some coins/tokens that actually made it through and but most the  cases ended as failures and even their are some that start big but eventually getting into slumped and have never recover. I think it is still depends how the projects progress and how the community would see to it that the projects are valuable worth and worth supporting for.
