I've already nuked 25 of these guys and will continue looking at more users all through tonight. I'm sure by the end of the night i'll have 50-100 accounts banned. I have been sending a warning to a few(4) who joined but have only done a few posts so far(burstposted the few they've done) and am giving these types the benefit of doubt. All the users that joined and spammed 20 posts will not be given a warning.

I am also noticing accounts that just woke up. Not a ton so far 10 range but not sure if I should auto nuke those guys or give them a chance? Technically they haven't done anything wrong and I don't know if they're bought accounts, hacked accounts, or what.

If you been fond of sports and cricket, there is a term called "Benefit of the doubt". This means that When the Umpire is not sure whether he is out or not, so he gives the decision in the benefit of the player.
I am sure those woke up accounts may produce spam but maybe give this privilege of ""Benefit of the doubt" and see what they produce. Wink

If you were managing a campaign as like bustadice, mintdice, windice or any other, you would certainly not accept the inactive accounts. That's what I too followed when I had checked the applicants in 2dice, I think you must follow that, it will let you minimize the spam. Most of the inactive accounts which woke up for joining signature campaign will provably produce spam.
By the way, the decision is up to you. You are experienced CM here and you know better than almost everyone what is good and what bad for both the forum and the project. I know you will control everything within couple of days.
Best of luck.

For me, give them a chance, because they are not yet spamming but grade the post that they are going to make after joining the campaign. Because me too I take several months of paused and then go back here in bitcointalk, but yeah, I improve my post quality first before joining a campaign.
Or just a make a new rule that the woke up account can't join the campaign because they will be automatically kicked. But just like Little Mouse said, It's up to you, Goodluck sir! Best of luck for the yobit signature campaign Smiley

Most of the accounts I've seen that have just woken up to join this campaign are going straight into churning out 20 shitposts as fast as they can. A few have already been banned for plagiarism including some high ranking accounts. I guess you can take them on a case by case basis but it's obvious those sort of accounts are only here for one reason only and I doubt many of them will start making exponential posts (or even half-decent ones) but whether you want to give them the benefit of doubt is up to you. As long as you keep an eye on them and have a list of the ones that have reappeared then there shouldn't be an issue.

It also seems to me that users always need to be given a chance, because in life there may be different situations, why exactly a person has been absent from the forum for a long time.  Of course, no one can prove something until he provides some evidence, but at the forum no one can demand to confirm this or that situation in human life.  I believe that the problem on the bitcointalk forum is due to multi-accounts, precisely because of the lack of verification.  Of course, there are a lot of nuances connected with this, which is why this is impossible, but it seems to me that for participating in the Bounty companies you can think of some form to get rid of the problems with the participation of farmers in the Bounty companies.

Thank you for your own-going process of cleaning up the spammers.

May I kindly request you do not allow those accounts recently woken up or with recent change of email address to participate in any campaign. If that is known well in advance then those with the intention of purchasing accounts will not bother trying to use those accounts for spamming.

As for the very few genuine accounts that have for some reason or other recently woken up or have recent change of email address - they should probably not be given the benefit of any doubt just as a precaution in case they have an ulterior motive but should be free to participate in any campaign once they are no notices attached to their profile.

Most of these yobit people are terrible posters. Digging up old topics from over 6 months ago, quoting big posts and sets of pictures just to add one line of text below them, joining conversations to add "me too" or "I agree", rewriting posts in a different way to make them look new. Despite all the effort from the manager and some helpful spam busters this campaign is still the worst.

One thing it does well is putting gold diggers in the spotlight. Look for those "I made 20 posts yesterday and I'm proud" guys and you'll get all the cream of the crop.

Now they opened a campaign to promote a new crypto forum called cryptotalk.org which is not related to yobit.net yet but they are paying participants in yobit accounts.

This cannot be considered as promoting a scam site, right?

Only issue everyone talking about is spam,if that campaign doesn't produce it then they are fine to run a campaign here.

Did you visit this new forum? Exchange board is almost on the top, and YoBit is the top discussed thread, funny how you can promote something with bad reputation by using a new platform. Only good thing is that some spammers will maybe move to that new forum since they pay for every post 1000 satoshi, and the limit is even bigger than in YoBit sig campaign (30 posts daily). It will be a spammer's&alts paradise.

Those "me too" and "I agree" posts are the lowest ones imaginable. Those along with digging up inactive threads to posts in are things that cannot be justified.

Yes it puts those users in the spotlight but at the same time it highlights that there is a problem within the forum if things such as that are allowed to happen whether it is from yobit, cryptotalk (or other) promoting users.

Probably waiting for a campaign to pop up. Without signature campaigns these accounts will be put aside like its temporary suspended because they arent able to monitize their effort in posting. I was already expecting this to happen, since Yobit automatically accepts participants who wears their signature without someone managing to choose and filter the post qualities, past activities, and etc.  Even neg tagged accounts were able to join the campaign.

I guess all this spamming issues about Yobit will be put to an end if they will entrust you everything from this campaign. I mean overall management, like what you usually do in every campaign youve handled.

Look at user "taibas". A brief look at the posts this user is making. He is trying so hard to make his posts seems honest and genuine when truth be known he has not got a clue what he is going on about: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1014120;sa=showPosts

He reads the last line of a post and then decides to mix up some words and make a post giving the impression eh knows what he is talking about but it is nothing but pathetic.

Does somebody like him deserve getting paid for every post just because he is promoting "cryptotalk.org"? He is posting several major threads just because after posts will be made after his post, he can post again. Things like Ethereum and Doge - he has no interest in them but is posting there just to promote the signature. Many of those posts are made soon after I posted there such as DASH as well but he conveniently did not post here in this thread.

Also have a look at this page in the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1607749.msg52592841

I think an example of "cryptotalk.org" spammers flooding can be seen here alongside some interesting posts made by those promoting it.
