How do you other DT members feel about this sort of tag? They are basically stealing from a site and know they are not allowed. Yes they get nuked from the campaign within a day but that hasn't deterred 50 of them from trying.

If they actually posted and got paid (can you see which users got paid and how much?) then a tag is appropriate. If they didn't get paid you should probably give them the benefit of the doubt. Ideally Yobit should verify the rank before paying. It doesn't make sense to have automated payouts without basic protection against abuse or mistakes.

I can see every penny they earn daily(or every activity update), and usually its throwaway accounts who haven't been active in awhile.

Added to the list of banned.

I have decided that users need to be held accountable for their actions, so when they sign up for this campaign that clearly states sr member and higher only may join, they will be tagged with the below statement

Taking advantage of auto sign up for cryptotalk campaign, not reading rules and applying when they know they don't qualify.

How do you other DT members feel about this sort of tag? They are basically stealing from a site and know they are not allowed. Yes they get nuked from the campaign within a day but that hasn't deterred 50 of them from trying.

If there are alot of disagreements with the tag then I may have to think of another way to deter them. Opinions welcome. So far only 3 that applied today have the tag. If the majority agrees this is appropriate, then I have no issues tagging the rest who joined the campaign earlier.

I do agree that most people know that they will get paid even if they are not Sr Members Above, but they apply just to collect few pennies. Those who do not know, when they read this post, they will also try to enroll but this also include those who by mistake apply by not reading the rules properly, those do not deserve the tag.

What you can do is to PM the user who got some earnings due to wrong rank and ask him to return that amount to you in say about 5 days. If he does not return, he is a scammer and should be tag and if he does return, it was by mistake.

I think this is the only way to be fair.

Then it sounds very much like a deliberate scam attempt. Someone figured out how to make a few easy bucks. Can you let Yobit people know - maybe they can prevent them from withdrawing.

I still can't believe they don't check the rank. Basically throwing money away.

Per the Yobit signature campaign thread:

Users with negative feedback from Default Trust users will be reviewed and removed at my discretion. Burstposting and or spamming to be paid is grounds for immediate removal. No matter the reason.

Negative trust by DT is not a guaranteed reason for removal.

You are a Jr Member and you are not allowed to join and trust doesn't matter in your case.
If you read few posts above yours, you could have easily seen the same is being discussed, but as always people like you never read.  Angry

there is no check. They're paid for their posts even though the sig does not display at all.

I hope that I misunderstood something. But at the moment (given that you have confirmed this information publicly and now many users have learned about it "officially") we should wait for hordes of bots that will be created for only one purpose - to rob Yobit.

I wouldn't do it myself. Unfortunately, almost nobody ever reads any rules, and people who don't qualify often apply for signature campaigns that exclude their rank. The fact that the auto sign up allows this is on Cryptotalk: they could easily check the rank or even signature before accepting the user. That could be coded in a few minutes.
I have to ask: if the rank isn't checked, how do they determine who gets the higher payment per post?
Would a Jr. Member be accepted too if he posts just an URL in his signature?

That being said, I also don't mind getting rid of those:
usually its throwaway accounts who haven't been active in awhile.
If it's an account farmer who's just using all his old farmed accounts, it would be great if they can be linked together.

2Kool4Skewl's account (BIP) has changed its owner. Initially, the account belonged to an English-speaking user who was a miner (to understand this you just need to flip through a few pages of his first messages), then gradually changed the language of communication from English google-translation to Russian to confuse Russian users.

From this post you can understand that the account owner was a U.S. citizen:

Do you currently support ACH withdrawals for US customers?

Also, I signed up, but I couldn't activate my account.  I'm sent you a PM regarding my issue.

choppy123's account (BIP) (registration date: 2014-01-29) got a negative feedback from me about the change of ownership (Hacked Account), as in 2017 there was a sharp change of language from English to Russian. In addition, the interests and style of writing messages have changed.  If the original English-speaking user of the account was interested in master nodes and mining, the Russian-speaking user is only engaged in shitposting for the signature.

I just sent Mintpal a ticket asking for BC market....I suggested a Proof of Stake market to start with ....BC to MINT...BC to ECC and BC to ZEIT.....POS is the future. I was at Bitcoin Expo in Toronto on the weekend and attended several speaking sessions. By far the biggest issue and concern with Bitcoin (raised by attendees) is its lack of energy conservation...it only makes sense to have a market dedicated to POS coins Tongue

This thread is about banned members of the cryptotalk campaign, but I have a question that's sort of relevant.

Yobit hasn't paid it's campaign participants in about 7 days now.  I am far from confident that they're ever going to pay us and I'd like to remove their signature.  If I do, am I going to get kicked out of the campaign and be unable to claim the payment for the posts I've made in the last week?  It's 0.0036BTC and I don't want to lose that.

Or if I were to just stop posting, would I get booted for inactivity and also lose that 0.0036BTC?  I'm not angry at yahoo62278 since I know this is a yobit problem, but I'd like to get an answer to those questions.  I really don't want to keep advertising for them when there seems to be a high probability that the 'send to my btc balance' button is ever going to be functional again.

Since yahoo locked the campaign thread I thought I'd ask this here since it's not completely off topic and I don't want to start a new thread about it.  Part of me thinks yobit wants members to remove their signatures or become inactive so they can kick them out officially without payment.  The reality is, none of us know what's going on because yobit hasn't communicated anything to us.
