What have you done to promote the Blockchain technology & cryptocurrencies?

In my last post, I was asking why the Blockchain technology isn't adopted as fast as we suppose. I got a lot of replies which did not only enlighten me, but also enlightened others. It's cool to have lively people here. In this post, I'm asking a simple question. Since we've come to understand that some people consider the Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies to be scam and some other stories, what have you done to help promote the Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies? How many people have you introduced them to? How active are the people you introduced?

I introduce Block chain through my social media, I also introduce it to my relatives. It has been a great help to me and my family especially in financial need. So I wouldn't hesitate to introduce it to others especially my friends who want to know the crypto currency!

I guess, all, who invest in cryptocurrencies and tell other people about it, promote crypto and blockchain. Bounty hunters are the best crypto promoters. Personally, I found a funny way to do it and ordered a T-shirt with a BTC symbol on the Internet store. The T-shirt has not come yet, but I guess, in a couple of days, it will do it. Suppose, some people will ask me about the meaning of the image and I'll get an additional chance to tell them about Bitcoin.

Haven't done anything big to promote bitcoin and blockchain technology. I've explained the existence of bitcoin as well as the way it differ from common system. Apart from this I've suggested to go through the forum activities and other news articles where one can learn about bitcoin. The growth of bitcoin and the technology have taken place through word of mouth than other forms of promoting.

Many people have been given the opportunity to learn about this amazing technology. But because of the false introduction here, they are no longer interested. So that's what I'm doing to promote the blockchain and bitcoin is for them to have quick transactions and at the same time they have a profit that banks can't provide.

Yes I do similar thing wherein I use Social Media and mainly Linkedin as it has only professional and most of them gets the concept easily and also I spread it through word of mount to my friends and encourage family members to user crypto in case of transferring money across the border as they don't have to go through the money exchange and pay hefty charges. Some of them are really shocked to know something like this even exist.

Its our duty to spread the word about Bitcoin and Blockchain to other people in order to wake them up about what is happening with cryptocurrencies. So for me it worked like this :

1. First I tried and spoke with all my friends back in 2014 about Bitcoin and Blockchain tech including altcoins and how this could be maybe the biggest chance of our generation to start a business on this or simply invest a part of their money into it.

2. At work , I tried to gather some of my IT members in order to start a mini mining farm and it worked with 1 friend of mine and we had some Zeus asics that worked pretty well for a couple of years.

3. Now after the second bull run I started over again and spread the word about Bitcoin even when I go shopping and I see young people who are working a lot and they deserve to know in order to make something better with their career. Its hard to speak with older people about Bitcoin as most of them thinks you want to scam them as they don't get the idea that they don't invest INTO YOU and they INVEST into bitcoin and even if they get the idea they simply don't believe that you can convert them back to cash even if you show them that we even have a partnership with Smith&Smith when you can buy&sell bitcoin and ethereum with only your ID.

4. I'm thinking to implement a payment gateway to small altcoins into my website in order to spread the words about small altcoins who are doing a great job in technology sector but they don't have the necessary capital.

There are lots of techniques that you can do to promote or to advertise the particular ICO or IEO, we all know that the social media platform is dominating the internet world and most of the people nowadays are using it and surfing or browsing on it, especially the investors, they are using a lot of internet because of the business so if we do some promotion of any particular project in some media platforms like facebook, medium, youtube, and etc. We can convince more investors about a particular project that we are promoting. It has a bit impact to the market since investors makes any project more successful if they invest their money to that project.

I have started to promote airdrops on telegram and twitter. Now all succesfull airdrops of mine worths 2$ tops. Twitter account is banned. All because of scammers

I tell my physically distant employers to pay me in cryptocurrencies, introducing them in the process. They usually end up using it even after our contract is over. For me, it's how fast funds transfer over from the other side of the world. Though most don't accept it, because apparently it's hard to show their payments and get their taxes deducted. If only governments acknowledged crypto properly.

yes, the way you do is a way that I often use. when I take part in various social media campaigns, my friends often ask me what the links on my homepage mean. at that time I could explain about cryptocurrency. and the simplest way for others to learn crypto in my opinion is to look at others if we can buy something valuable, because the results obtained from cryptocurrency.

I have done to promote blockchain technology is only to the extent of sharing links or threads on social media. and my friend asked " what I was doing? " after explaining some points he was only interested in the points that led to the mine, maybe I went too far to tell, he finally decided to buy a mining machine and learn to be a miner, this happened last 2016 and he is still a miner. I also tried to invite some familys but they all refused because they thought what the blockchain was doing was just a technological trick(fool) and after that I closed myself off from others to introduce the blockchain and the crypto world.

Me, instead of saying words about bitcoin and altcoins, it is my silence that make them believe how good and reliable it is. sometimes, my friends can see me using and opening trading sites where I invest, buy, and sell cryptocurrency. Those friends of mine are so grateful that I treat them and when they asks where can I earn? Just simple reply crypto. It is their curiosity that drives them to find and research more about my matters.

That is one hell of a way to approach your friends giving out parties and treats and your friends asking from where you are getting your money it implies another thing too, you are not having any other job and this is your only source of income and hence your friends will be inclined to ask you about the source of your income  . If these curiosity increases we will see more promoters and less investors .

I am sure a lot of people here are very active in promoting blockchain tech and cryptocurrencies to their own circle. Some of them have gone extra miles by arranging conferences and meetups. Real bitcoin enthusiasts are doing it since ages. Othereise, do you think we would have reached this far? I personally have introduced bitcoin to uncounted numbers of people including my colleagues and friends.

However, as a commoner, we have limited scope of doing this! The real adoption comes with government regulation. Doesn't matter how bitter this truth sounds, but that's a reality! Unless bitcoin is adopted and regulated by a government body, mass adoption isn't going to happen! The legal framework needs to be in place to see the people adopting at large scale! Personal initiatives are also required but the impact will always be limited.

Many people active for promoting blockchain become legal transaction payment and know by many people in the world, you can promote bitcoin or altcoin as your way how to get legal transaction bitcoin in your country, government will give space for bitcoin and altcoin if have many member and user use bitcoin as investing or trading, government will open their eyes for everything with bitcoin and altcoin as legal transaction.

On my side I have been promoting Blockchain technology & cryptocurrency by working with my friend to conduct various events in school universities because we believe that these young generation will be the key for mass adoption, it's like planting a seed on their young minds so when they became adults then they are full knowledgable about cryptocurrency and how to use it for their own benefits.

Nice one for this, it's a good start to let people or college students to use their salary when they got job in a right way. If only doubt will be removed to them in the first place and opportunities to discuss their thought to people who knows it they can put their money and learn new skills in a better way. I try to explain it to my relatives whom I know a spender for them to consider having investment than nothing.

I mostly promote it through social media platforms, sharing posts which I find significant with my followers, also word of mouth, I always tell the people to close to me about it, some are still sceptical but slowly showing interest

BTC and altcoins got such fame because of community members efforts in promoting them. My effort mainly focuses in convincing people around me that BTC is not only used in dark web, it has legitimate positive uses also. There are many in my surroundings that are unaware of this fact.
