Yes that is BIG MISTAKE!!!!
If you are buy Bitcoin because Fear of Missing Out yes that is big mistake!
Following majority people who already buy first then you buy it ASAP, that is FOMO.
Maybe you don't have too much information about cryptocurrency and just jump in the pool. That is also mistake.
But if you are already know the risk and know about Bitcoin, i think you don't want ask about it. Bitcoin is need time to going to bullish again. Just hold it.

That is not investing at all, buying bitcoin because of FOMO fever is like you are betting your money in gambling, well not literally betting, but most of the time you have to wait until the price of bitcoin will be up again before you sell, and that is your biggest enemy, your patience, if you wait for too long that your hands are itching for money, then your patience will start to worn out, you could either give up and sell it or fight the urge of selling and wait for the right time.

I don't think investing in bitcoin is a mistake. you only need to be patient and wait for the bitcoin price to recover. Lots of people have invested in bitcoin when the price is reaching new ATH and now the price has fallen down they are asking what to do with their bitcoins whether to sell or not. the best answer to that is HODL until the right time to sell, i.e. when the bitcoin price is fully recovered.
