When Is Image Posting Enabled? - What Rank Provides What Access

Hello BitcoinTalk,

I would first like to begin by sharing with you all that I have dedicated the time to utilize the search functionality to find clear answers to my question prior to arriving here to post this. After searching with '3' different search inputs I've realized that the function isn't entirely helpful or accurate.


My question involves the ability to embed clickable image posts on BitcoinTalk and when such access is granted?
 
Additionally, it would be of value to include accurate and clear information on what ranks are available in Bitcointalk Talk, and what the requirement to unlock them - I understand that the merit system is involved with this, though more details would be assistive.

Also greatly important, I feel that it would be great to include what access you are granted in each rank, compared to the others available - this would be valuable information to many.


Thank you to all who compassionately share their knowledge on this. I'm certain it will assist our new members who come into the Meta board to find similar answers.

You need to be a Member rank or you can buy copper membership. Here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

To become a Member rank user you will need to have 60-119 activities (not posts) and minimum 10 merits.

Hello Royse,

Thank you for your input. The 'Copper' membership was something that I was not aware of. We are already creating a thread where others with similar questions that can gain more valuable insight.

Would you, or someone reading this be kind enough to list what is required for the other ranks? - Also their individual access.


As I listed in my initial writing, the majority of the results found through the search functionality have led to no clear source of information related to this question.

Sorry but Royse is half correct, you have to be a Jr Member to be able to post images and links or you can buy copper membership.

Q: I can't post / embed an image and I'm a newbie. Why?
A: Embedded images have been disabled for newbies due to abuse (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1172918.0). You'll be able to post images when you become Jr. Member or if you pay a small fee. See more: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.0.

Q: When will I be able to add an avatar to my account?
A: Once your account is ranked Full Member or higher.
