It is a huge risk when you gamble in this kind of matter. If some of those insiders will gamble then i'm sure it's a huge win for them. Politics gambling do exist and yet I never know that you can gamble in this matter. I don't know if the law will really protect the whistleblower's identity.

I don't think this directly unmasks the identity since people are just betting but with the internet, we'll never know. I mean, guys on 4chan and other forums routinely track down people. Although if any of them finds out who this is, I don't think they'll expose it if they made a bet.

I think a nice wager on politicians would be what lawsuits they'd be slapped with in a given year.

This is a weird bet to be honest as I have never seen sportsbooks offering such odds, on the whistle blowers identity and gender. In my personal opinion the identity of the whistle blower should never be made public, because if his identity is compromised he’ll surely be killed hence I feel majority of the gamblers will bet on his identity not being disclosed.
