what is a useful app easily safe private key?
The best way to safe your private key is offline, make a hard copy written down on a piece of paper or in a private book
what is the best bitcoin app for mobile?
I would recommend a well known offline wallet like Atomic wallet, electrum or myCelium

You need to know that there is no such thing known as bitcoin account. There are only wallets which hold the private keys to spend the bitcoin by signing the transaction. The private keys can be used in various platforms and in various wallets just by importing the keys.

If you are concerned with the control over your coins, you should go with Mycelium present in Google Play. They are one among the most trusted wallets present in the market and they have been considered safe in holding your keys. Another thing is that, if you have higher amount of coins, you should be going with setting up a cold wallet which shouldn't be connected to internet.

I don't or would never trust any other mobile wallets apart from Mycelium. Once you have created the wallet, write down the 12 word passphrase provided by the wallet software and they would be helpful to restore the keys in other platforms.

Other than that, some of the trusted wallets can be found here :Choose your Bitcoin Android Wallet

We need to have a little amount of btc in an online wallet or a mobile wallet to spend as and when we like to spend for transactions.
AFAIK electrum would be good and can be trusted only for Desktop based wallets. Eclair wallet can be used for Lightning Network based transactions.

As far as Android mobile wallets go, I agree that Mycelium is the best option available. With iOS, I'm partial to Airbitz (rebranded as Edge). I wish I could endorse Electrum since I love it on desktop, but as a mobile app it has a really long way to go.

Currently the safest app on mobile is definitely Samsung Blockchain Keystore. But it's only available on the latest Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
Electrum wallet is a famous and reputed one used by many people.

AFAIK electrum would be good and can be trusted only for Desktop based wallets.
Huh Where did you see that please?

Do you mean you want to know if the one you downloaded is legit or not? If this is the same one you downloaded, it's legit:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycelium.wallet

We can't really tell by the info you provided, so you have to check by yourself by opening that link on your phone.

As long as you've downloaded the Mycelium app from the PlayStore link he linked, you should be fine. Also, please edit out and remove the bitcoin address from your previous reply, for your privacy's sake. You wouldn't want people snoopin around on how much BTC you have.

The best app for your needs is electrum  and  mycelium you can safely store your bits there but I love to use the exodus wallet since it's more convenient to use since I can exchange my BTC to any alts I like to deal with, But I suggest you should research first and find the wallet which can give you a convenience and if you want to know more about Exodus wallet then feel to research the information about them.

To check if it's the original app you can use Checkey from the Guardian Project.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=info.guardianproject.checkey

Quote
Checkey is a utility for getting information about the APKs that are installed on your device. Starting with a list of all of the apps that you have installed on your device, it will show you the APK signature with a single touch, and provides links to virustotal.com and androidobservatory.org to easily access the profiles of that APK...

Copay, Enjin and many more but, Hardware wallets is best. May be little costly but, they are worth it. Store your private key offline do not trust any app helping you store it online.

There is this famous saying:

One who has the private key is the owner of the funds

There is no 'Bitcoin account'.
You can use wallets that support Bitcoin, for mobile or dekstop.

Comparison and more information you can find on bitcoin.org website:

for android
https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet?step=5&platform=android
for iOS
https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet?step=5&platform=ios

Electrum or BRD are best options you have at the moment

Not all mobile wallets gives you private key. Some of them don't store your bitcoin on your wallet but on theirs. So you are not 100% controlling your assets. Personally I recommend you to generate your own wallet on bitaddress.org and then install blockchain.com mobile app and import your generated wallet to it. Also do not forget to save your private key on removable disk (SD card for example). Blockchain.com wallet is good because they don't store your private key at all. So even if its got hacked your assets will not accessible for hackers.

Bitcoin is the most popular coin in the crypto industry. So it is important to keep your coins securely so that you don't lose it. Moreover, you have to be extra careful if you are keeping your wallet on your android device.

Still, you can refer to some wallets for your android device.

  • Ledger nano x- (It is not a mobile wallet but someone can access through mobile app and it is the most secure wallet but the only drawback is you have to carry the required device and it is a malware proof device so there is no risk that the private keys to get exposed to the internet)
  • Coinomi- (It is a popular wallet that supports multiple cryptocurrencies which allows simple backup and private keys the only drawback is it is not open source).
  • Mycelium:(It is the most popular wallet for android and it supports offline hardware wallet also)

So choose the BTC wallet which has an easy user interface and feasible for your device.

It is not a good idea to trust your smartphone too much. It may be convenient, but convenience often comes at the expense of security. If you are tolerance to the risk of losing your bitcoins, you can use any of the wallets proposed above that allow you to control the private key. Perhaps a better solution for android is a ledger nano s + otg-cable (or ledger nano x).

Like you've already heard that there is no such thing as a Bitcoin account.

Now I can pretty much assume you said that by mistake since you are new, you just don't know the terminology for everything yet.

Anyways,

Many people will suggest you to get Mycellium, which is good, but I do not like them one bit.

For me, the best wallet to use on mobile is Green (previously known as Greenwallet)

And when it comes to multi-wallet, I'd suggest you to go with Atomic wallet

-
Mind you Atomic Wallet's desktop version is bugged, as I stated here, although I am not sure if this bug is recreatable for everyone.

It's been over a year since I tried it, but at the time it repeatedly crashed on me. It also exhibited some annoying bugs -- this one I remember. I imagine some of the kinks have been worked out but I'm not surprised at its mediocre rating in the Google Play store.

Thanks for the suggestion to try Samourai. I've been meaning to check it out.
