Those who are making money from cryptocurrency despite all these challenges that you have mentioned do not have two head, if you leave the cryptocurrency space now, it would not make any difference as we will have people to always fill up the space, so you will be the one at the losing end because of lack of patience mate.

There is no system that is perfect, while many people are crying poverty in the fiat system, there are people who are making so much money from it just because they are able to learn on how to deal with the situation. All these challenges you have mentioned are what can be dealt with, you can learn to work through it. I am a trader and with all these bear markets, I am still able to make some ends means through it.

......

Coinbase Pro recently raised it's fees so high as to block out ordinary traders.  Binance kicked out USA traders.  Bakkt is not going to be too much different as they just keep raising the bar and implementing more rules and regulations, making crypto boring.  Gemini is just a greed machine too, while the people who own Gemini are already ultra ultra wealthy, and they just want to keep becoming more and more greedy.

It is just one thing after another everyday and it is all really boring news too.  Bitcoin is all just a bunch of greediness and politics now a days.  This is not a fun environment anymore.  It is taken over by greedy exchanges that are already rich, and they do not have to be greedy either, but the people who run the shows just sorta stuck on creating this stuff I guess.  It is taken over by people who's entire focus is just being greedy.

......

Interesting.  There is negativity in the whole community too.  Try talking to anybody about your entrepreneurship concepts and everybody just throws mud on it like a bunch of Negative Ninnys.

End of rant.  I am thinking of taking up a new hobby.
If you think so, why don't you make the same thing as their "marketplace" and make it a different perspective from them. Show everyone that your current outlook changes because of what you make. I think about changing people's perspectives is very fun for looking hobbies.
I completely agree with your rant way of expressing how greedy they are, but in my opinion only expressing the conversation will not completely change the situation, it's okay to look for other hobbies.
I don't think he's being greedy at all, when companies raise their fees so high so that ordinary traders are literally unable to profit of the exchange, it's not them getting greedy, it's the company shutting down an entire market.

It's a good rant, and it does showcase a lot of the issues with the American market and some of the regulatory issues as well as companies pushing regular customers out.

I do get that feeling sometimes but I have discovered that the more you read and research more about cryptocurrencies the excitement just gets back and you will reignite your love for these precious ones and zeros in no time, so find something that made you stick to crypto the first time Smiley
I think that OP is more of an investor than a cryptocurrency user, because when it comes to using cryptocurrency for payments, I don't think that we have been disappointed in anyway, transaction have never failed except maybe we transfer to the wrong address, and even in the aspect of fee, it is much more better than using wire transfer which you would almost pay 20 percent of the amount you are seeing, the only challenge is the scalability and transaction speed which I know with time will improve.

This is the whole focus of bitcoin right now and the investment aspect of it is just secondary, as we get used to this, cryptocurrency value will surely grow so we should look at the investment in crypto currency as future plan and not for today, if we look at it for today, that is when we get discourage about the whole thing.

We cannot really blame the exchanges for being limited to some countries. One of the reason why exchanges have limited or no access to other countries is because of the government itself. The policies of the government and their regulations are sometimes very hard on exchanges and sometimes they will ban it in their area. Such as binance cannot be accessed in the US because of the economic war between US and China. Also exchanges are also business and their biases is not just for themselves but also to protect their investors and users.

Indeed. There are some rules in each country and we cannot abide the law. If you really want to have that exchange in your country you may need a  vpn for you to open that exchanges. It can help you to hide your IP and get a new IP that will suit to their protocol.

At first I thought this post was about getting tired of bitcoin price falls and can't wait for rise but it's a whole different subject of discussion.
Well, OP, everything was amazing, fun and interesting at first, I would call that time era of freebitco because that website introduced me into bitcoins. That time bitcoin wasn't commercial thing like it is now (can't mine at home, a lot of regulations on exchanges, KYC documents everywhere and etc).
That's getting boring but I'm still here because of bitcoin's possibilities, it's just nice payment method and consider this as an investment option too on long term.
If you can, get best it from it and use it for your needs, things get abused as time goes and that's why we have so terrible situation now. Bitcoin was nice when only few people knew it.
Indeed, we are supposed to do and get involved in cryptocurrency to do what we are supposed to do, focusing on our own pace and minding our business and not getting affected easily by the movements and actions of other crypto enthusiasts that co-exist with us within the crypto space. You aren't here to expect for a fair deal and easy peasy lemon squeezy type of environment, our era is in a race of getting to the top and escaping the life of being poor so no discussion for the greediness, it is inevitable and you can't change their mind. What you are experiencing right now is the reason why before entering the crypto space you should learn how not to be affected by your emotions, otherwise, you'll end up being like this.

If you couldn't handle it anymore then just quit instead of stressing yourself.
There are other ways to earn so if the other way is too stressful for you then you should find something that is comfortable for you.
And I also get your point this is crypto this is Bitcoin it should be anonymity and gender shouldn't be an issue or something.
But people would do what they want and that is why I am just ignoring it instead of being stressed out.

I also do not like all of the female-only cryptocurrency conventions and meet ups.  Why are they female-only?
I don't know about that, since it isn't like women are the minority of the population.  Maybe in the world of cryptocurrency they are, but not in the real world.  Anyway, women empowerment has been all the rage for a few years now so I wouldn't let that frustrate you.  More women in crypto would be a good thing in my opinion.

And as regards all of those exchanges you mentioned, I also wouldn't let that frustrate you.  I'm in the U.S. and had to stop using binance as a result.  I'm in the list of excluded states unfortunately, but they aren't the only exchange in the game.  Kucoin has been my go to ever since binance made their changes.  Never used gemini and Bakkt is and always was intended to be for institutional investors with tons of money.

If you couldn't handle it anymore then just quit instead of stressing yourself.
Erm, he could also try to stress himself out less without quitting.  One way to do that is what he already did, which is to spark up a discussion about what's pissing him off.  I think if one gets out of crypto now and sells everything, they're going to be missing out on a big opportunity when bitcoin finally starts getting back to its all time high.  Now's not the time to quit crypto.

Everyone is free to make its own decisions.but sometimes we have to think twice before we do something. In crypto world not everything is always going easy and sometimes we have more losses than profit or situation on the market looks boring.
But try to have broader view and think long term. Cryptocurrencies are actually at its very begininig, so many new developments and achievements is still waiting to be done, cryptocurrencies will form our future. Don't you want to be part of it?

Everything changes according to the needs and desires of the community, buddy. Although there are groups of people trying to limit and adapt it to various kinds of excuses. At least it is an effort to make cryptocurrency closer and in accordance with the "circumstances" that they want and can control.
Do not go, there are still many things that are profitable and you will lose if you ignore it. Rest if you are tired of this saturated market.

That sucks. Use other platform instead of coinbase where the fees will suits you well. Trading is not boring. Your Exchange is boring because you have not much choices to trade there. I don't why cryptocurrency in your country is meticulously picked. That's why there's no progress on cryptocurrency there.

You are absolutely right mate, the space is getting really boring and full of greedy CEOs and team members who don't give a dime about their community members but only the money they are making. I am starting to get a bit disappointed in Binance for some of its rules and high listing feels that it is charging off late. I invested into a whole lot of projects which failed because of pure greed. Projects like MiracleTele, Cryptassist etc. All these projects were really solid until the CEOs got greedy and absconded with all the funds of the ICO

I always pity anyone who gives out such message. You might be heart brokened by something in the cryptospace but one thing you should know it that, whatever happens in the market, we still have to endure for the better days are yet to come.

The actual cryptocurrency businesses out there that employ people are starting to get overloaded with pointless HR style jobs and soon half the industry will just be grouchy HR people, or grouchy bank people.  Also the crypto businesses all require college degrees, which basically guarantees that less creative people will be in there doing anything interesting.  It will be similar to how college administration departments became over run by tons of interns who are paid to just push paper and it makes college diplomas too expensive for anybody to obtain without going broke and into debt.

I also do not like all of the female-only cryptocurrency conventions and meet ups.  Why are they female-only?  Those are like giant planning committees that are planning to just take over and then add more and more worthless HR jobs into cryptocurrency company structure.  It really sucks.  It is like the whole industry is being taken over by lamo's who really do not have much interest in crypto but they can get jobs related to this stuff, and they can get in on some greedy level making everything unsustainable for everyone else.

Interesting.  There is negativity in the whole community too.  Try talking to anybody about your entrepreneurship concepts and everybody just throws mud on it like a bunch of Negative Ninnys.

hold on mate, You seem frustrated. you tell stories as if you are bored, when in fact you are frustrated. there is still something you can pick out here, though it isn't as terrific as it used to be. You don't need to stop, try to take a vacation and reduce contact with cryptocurrencies that might increase your passion again. it is true that cryptocurrencies are full of greedness, many services are not like they used to be, day by day they incur huge fee, however if it's still profitable I think it's still worthed.

If we are tired now being in crypto space because everything change so fast, for me, the best thing to consider is for us to learn how to adapt very quick as we cannot continue if we're tied to the past that just brings us the happiness and wins, today, more and more market competition is being created. Earning in crypto is becoming not that easy, it is upon on us on how we should take advantage of the situations that we encounter. If you give up you already lose.

I don’t think making use of exchanges is as difficult as we think, the one that many people want which would have proved kind of difficult is the binance exchange and they have already created a separate platform for them which is being recognized by the united states citizen and I think that there are still some other exchanges like Coinbase and kucoin which the united states citizens are using which I think is okay once these ones are available to them.

There will always be challenges everywhere, but this challenge is not enough for us to really quit the crypto sphere, if we quit the crypto sphere, it would still not change the level of things, there are people that will still be coping with the system and making money while we may just be busy looking at the problem available.

Every one have reason why have quitting with investing in bitcoin and altcoin, maybe still remember with bitcoin buy on higher price above $15K last 2017 and now they will quit and resign with bitcoin investing because price have dump, but some person never give up how much lost with bitcoin because keep trusted bitcoin will give profit at the future with higher price.

If quitting is an answer, then there might be lots of people who will leave Cryptocurrency for their own reasons. We all know that Crypto has its ups and downs. Crypto has been through a lot so I don't think quitting would still be an answer to your agony.
If you're having problems with the rules and requirements such as KYC and other security procedures, you got no choice but to follow and go on with it. It's okay to complain since crypto itself isn't perfect but things would still depend on how we deal with different situations here.
Complaining alone won't help but you should know the next step to take if you're being stuck in a mess.
I don't see any valid reasons for him to quit the cryptospace there are several credible and trusted exchange apart from coinbase whose requirement for KYC is not mandatory and and has withdrawal limit before KYC why quitting? yobit and some other ones has a low trading fee and allow US traders and they are not too greedy there are also male cryptocurrency meet up and convention around the cryptospace.

Cryptospace won't easily gets bored, as the market is not the same as other markets there is regular price fluctuations. This means we can experience different forms of trade fluctuations which get us profit as well as loss. Upon the same we need to be more careful in handling each and every trade process. This means there will be predictions which makes market so enjoyable. There is nothing to quit his interest in cryptocurrency.
