Ethereum Bullish trend

I think the Bullish trend on Ethereum has not happened, because until now the price of ETH is still in the Bearish trend.

I think ETH had been in a sideway for weeks now but I believe this will will be crucial since it can either go up or down depending on which resistance is broken first.  If you check my post here :

And in my POV, it still needs sometime  for Ethereum to change from bearish to bullish market.  Probably the implementation of ETH 2.0 where sharding is implement will be one of the posible catalyst for ETH to start a bull run.

Nowadays I don't really believe on price forecasts and press releases on crypto markets as they often disappoints expectations of the people. But assuming this is true, then I believe that not only Ethereum  will flourish but all the other major alts as well!

In fact even right now, I don't think Ethereum is bullish but considering its overall network value and its ever growing ecosystem, then there is a very high chance ETH's price could recover in a matter of months and even reach its ATH before, its just that we don't know yet the exact time frame on when this will likely to happen again,  hopefully very soon!

Most technical analyst that I have seen predict prices for some of these coins are just speculating too without full assurance as I don't believe that in a place where there are no fundamentals, technical would not work. It is when we have so many factors that will assist the rise of bitcoin such as positive news that T.A can pick signal based on people's intention and actions on the market to forecast future occurrences.

Imagine that I am here now, and I don't see anything that will interest me in making investment in a particular coin, and I didn't do so, how would technical analysis function? It is when I see something that will encourage me to make a move to invest and I did that TA can work. People just need to do more of awareness creation than just predicting, we need real people to come and make an investment in altcoins.

no, I think bitcoin is still in a bearish trend. so I don't think all crypto coins will be bull for now. ethereum is still in a difficult time, there are no developments that can provide power to bull. however, I hope that ethereum does not fall deeper than this.

ETH conditions are still far from the bull, although there are some positive and good news. It does not guarantee that the initial ETH pump will start. it requires the movement of bitcoin and increasing strong market demand to grow the value of ETH., for now, we should be patient;

I got a position open from $168 that I longed about a month ago and will most likely close it soon unless we get some bull action soon.

The $168 was important because it was support in 2018 and then was strong resistance and when it retested $168 it held twice so I opened I long hoping it would refest $250 or $400 at least.

However it looks like BTC might break $7700 and then most likely $7500 won't hold and we might crash down into the low $7000 and $150 range or so for ETH. Not looking pretty.

This is not right in my opinion. Ethereum price is not even close to bullish position! This year, ETH price hit more than 330$, that was a signal for the bull run, I won't call ETH at 330$ is a bullish run. If Ethereum price overcome 500$, I would call that a bullish run, not before. 181$, 168$ are just resistance and it seems anytime ETH price can enter in the bearish season!

ETH does not need so much news for a bullish run. ETH 2.0 which planning to January 2020 is enough for ETH for seeing new high price levels.
Of course it can not move so much if BTC does not give permission. By the way no strong coin can not move if BTC does not give permission. If the market go worse position that now, at least ETH can hold its position when compared to other coins.
My expectation is more stable market at end of 2019 and with the permission of BTC, good price jumps at ETH at the begging of January 2020

Are you referring to actual applications of a particular coin in the market?
If they don't have one, how can you speculate if it is based on nothing. I agree with that.
It is truly hard to speculate on things if you don't have solid references at all.

But with regard to ethereum, I have high hopes on this platform.
I have confidence that they will implement what they are planning this coming 1st quarter of 2020.

I disagree. ETH is not much affected by BTC price but it sure does puts much impact on other alts.
Once BTC starts rising, all the cryptos will eventually rise in price too.
2020 is the year that can bring an upward trend in prices as BTC halving and ETH 2.0 Update are going to be a big factor.

You guys both make a good point but you're both right because the crypto market dont pose a single momentum and the momentum the market pose is what determine the correlation between Bitcoin and other altcoin market.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin and ethereum share the same correlation sometimes while they also don't sometimes.

Many coins think that their price will move with ETH price. But it's a mistake. Eth price bubble was linked with ICO strict only. And today we don't have such an engine. DeFi can be a growth catalyst but all ecosystem founded on the 'stable' essence and today's interest is a consequence of a lack of liquidity and demand. That's why I'm sure we will not see a repetition. Be smart realists!

I am looking at the chart of Ethereum at this very minute. And it appears red. So the bulls are not here. And there seems to be no trend showing that either. Well, Bitcoin and most of the altcoins are also in red, although with very small percentage. ETH has currently a 0.55% decrease in price. That is not something to be bothered about. It could go either way in the next hour or two. ETH needs to break $200, to get out of this $100 limit and appear bullish.

Analysts believe that ETH can reach the upper limit of the newly established trading range of $ 167 - $ 183. However, they note that if this cryptocurrency does not break out of this range, a further drawdown can be expected before returning to $ 230. In my personal opinion, they cannot make correct predictions as no one can consider all existing factors that can affect the crypto price.

I have also seen the graph of the last few charts as a sign that the bear market has run out. and in recent days ETHEREUM has experienced a surge in prices that are gradually indicating a bull run. but after I saw another sign. it turns out that most of the old coins have taken off his bearis. It depends on how you define bullish, right now we also witnessed small pumps and after that the price will go down hard in days and then bounce back. So most likely what we see is just a bear trap or a dead cat bounce. Just look at the price today, we are still below $200. When it touches $200 everyone says that we are in a bullish cycle, however it is not the case, so I don't see the whole alt market getting bullish at this point.

I don't think that current price movements have anything to do with the merits or otherwise of the Ethereum project. We are once again seeing the whole market moving together. It's been that way for a long time now. When ETH goes up or goes down, generally it is because bitcoin and other alts are doing the same. ETH remaining fairly consistent in price is because the whole of crypto is hovering around a stable cap.

I think that ETH decoupling from BTC movements could be what starts an alt bull, and other alts would then follow ETH's lead. It's not really happening yet though.

It was too positive to look by even when seeing 1% inclining movement every day. It surely gives us hope and courage, to feel exaggerated during the bear season is quite a normal feeling to everyone. What does it help make ETH recover slowly?  Is our continuous support...Indeed, all of these can't be wasted cause we know that ETH is worthy of our trust.
Yeah, really sorry those weak hands...they'll start to regrets now.

Even if there is much news or article saying ethereum entering the bull season, we need to analyze more to find if that article is right so we can try to buy more ethereum to be sold at a higher price. Many people still hope that the bull season this year will be the same as in 2017, or even it will make a new highest price at the market because we are waiting for a long time to see the bull comes.

People will still wait for the bull, and I am sure that they will prepare themselves to join the big party that will happen soon. Maybe they already buy so many bitcoin and altcoin, so they only need to place the coins at the sell order and wait for it sells. But unfortunately, we don't know if that is the real sign for the altcoin season to come, or it's just a temporary sign for traders to sell their coins before it is down again.
