To be honest, I wear signatures from companies to companies, over many months. Wearing signature and get paid is a priviledge, and honestly I am happy with that. Especially after my continuous decent efforts over months, I have become a Hero member since 30th July, this year.
I am on the way to Hero Member rank. Within less than 2 years from register day

Last few days, I left my recent campaign, and decided to take a break. In the meantime, when my mind totally refreshes, I am going to keep posting and updating my threads, without payment from my signature.

There is no pressure from post quota each week, and there is no complaints that I update my statistical threads and non-statistical ones as merit-begging or money-making efforts.

Statistical threads
tranthidung's statistical threads on bitcointalk

If you don't like my statistical threads, let's move on and read my historical and posting technique threads.

Posting technique

Historical threads

Let's see how it goes next few weeks.
Let's see how Bitcoin moves next few hours or days.

By the way, I wish you all a very great weekend, guys.

You are obviously a good poster and your tactics of including links to your own posts (kind of link linking internal links for SEO) in your replies to others looks to be working well in terms of the merit you are receiving but I'm not sure whats your motive for removing your signature? If you have been receiving criticism on updating your threads for a way to earn from your signature then I would just counter that by saying you post better posts than the majority of the others that are in the signature campaigns. If anyone deserves to be in a signature campaign you would probably be one of them because you are generating thousands of views on your threads and receiving merit for them which suggests that you not only post content that members enjoy reading but you are also exposing your signature to thousands of people which in terms of advertising is a good investment.

Signature campaigns are not bad on their own its just those that abuse it and don't post quality replies and are just trying to make as much money as possible by post bursting.

If you need a break, it's fine. I don't post a lot and my campaign doesn't require me to do a specific number of posts every week so I never count. When I don't feel like posting, I just don't. It's important to find balance in everything you do, so that you feel comfortable doing it. If I had somebody breathing  down my neck, I'd quit too, but even $10 a week is nice. It's that "free" money you can drink, trade, or gamble away with no regrets.

I wish more people were like OP and could step away from this shitposting rat race, but some of those rats are unemployed and have families to feed and debts to pay.

I have known this user for quite sometime and I must confess sometimes I get tired of reading his reply. Well we have been in almost the same campaign so it's no coincidence the user have caught my attention. If I was to give him an advice I'll say he should try engaging in the conversation he's replying to with his original thought and not try to prove some point everytime with his qouting of high ranked users. If I see a lower user doing that always, I'll just conclude he/she's merit hurting but in his case (No comment)

Don't know if this contributed to his recents decision as out of 50 post made last week, 22 (12 countable and 10 extra) got denied most of those denied post could be his threads updates but still for his other replies he should improve on them. Don't take this as a criticism but just a concerned observer airing his views. Improve more on yourself and exploit other boards. Your merit recieving record is decent but now try improving on your post (give us your thoughts on the discussion at hand without referencing others always).

I can understand how the internal linking of his own posts would get annoying and quoting established members of the forum but I think he has seen a gap in the market to be able to get merit and it looks to be working well for him. I hope that this does not become a common theme with members though as that would quickly become annoying but as a one off member doing it its not that  bad.  Overall his posts are good quality and provide something to the forum its up to the signature manager if they deem them not good enough for payment.

If I was to give him an advice I'll say he should try engaging in the conversation he's replying to with his original thought and not try to prove some point everytime with his qouting of high ranked users.
Quoting others' posts is merit begging and relying on others' opinion. Really? Sometimes, if what poster needs is point out proof of rules or any rule explanation from admin, moderators, quote is enough. Sometimes, poster don't have to raise their opinion, quote is enough.
I follow some users because I can learn from them, from their posts. Sometimes, months ago, I did not bookmark their posts, so when I need (remembered read somewhere but don't know where to quote). Recent months, I've bookmarked good posts I see, and if quotes of such posts are helpful, why don't do this?

Sometimes, such quotes are more helpful than I write my own posts. How readers interpret those quotes (in right context, of course), it is their responsibility, not mine.

If you are not manager of that campaign, please don't assume all things like that. I don't think my posts denied by low quality, honestly, and manager confirmed that when he asked me why I left that campaign.
You know, I got 70% of the last week payment because I made 5 posts in gambling section, not 7 as required by that campaign. For others posts denied, maybe they are posts outside the 50 posts required. If you make 70 posts, 20 posts will be denied by default, no matter good or bad quality they are. I even don't check how many posts I made last week.

You are right that last week payment is part of reasons that trigger me to take a break. Sometimes, I think posting without pressure from post quota is great. Wink

Manager contacted me why I left and confirmed I made good quality posts. As I wrote in OP, I just felt I need a break and refresh my mind.
I wish more people were like OP and could step away from this shitposting rat race, but some of those rats are unemployed and have families to feed and debts to pay.
My posts, sometimes are not high quality, but they are actually not shitposts.
Regarding to helpful posts, it depends on needs of readers. One high quality post is helpful for reader A (when that reader need that information/ solution), and is not helpful for reader B (when that reader don't need such information).

That was the reason and nothing else. I'm very observant and I stated this before you declared it openly. Nobody here has called your post shitpost you're just calling it that yourself. Qouting others opinion aren't bad but when you do it continuously in almost every post you make it becomes distracting. Sure it might fetch you merit but it's not always about the merit or impressing other. Like I said there are some attributes you can use to classified certain type of users but few others could do that but still aren't in the same category of the users such attributes are used to identified.

Example, one line post could be attributed to spammers but that doesn't mean a quality poster can't post just one line meaningful comment. I'm not attacking your type of posting but just saying it break the flow of reading sometimes especially when those qouting aren't necessary or that important in the sentence you're making. Still though, enjoy your break but don't understand the reason you have to inform us about this when in few weeks time you'll back to patronizing signature campaigns. 🙄🙄

It's very important to find a campaign that is not pushing you to change the way you post.
Normally I do around 15-20 posts a week, sometimes 5-6 depending on how much free time I have.
I never thought that I could end up on the Chipmixer campaign but this one suits my habits of posting perfectly.
When the spam situation was in its worst time I had 50 and more posts. Now everything settled down and I can quietly report.

Sorry I have no grudge against you. You are a valuable member of the forum and I like your statistical threads. But is Meta the right place to post topics like "I'm not going to join any campaigns for a few weeks" I'm seeing this type of threads here lately. Isn't meta related to the bitcoin forum.  Huh

The argument for a signature holiday for all members  has been a meta topic on and off.
Some of us have ended all advertising hoping to encourage a 1 week to 30 day signature holiday. I end my paid signature years ago but I did list simplemining.net as an unpaid signature for more then a year.  Along with an avatar signature for avalon a841.   I ended those about 90 days ago as I would love to see the forum practice a signature vacation once a year for 7 to 30 days.

Mostly  to see how it affects posting and to gather information on how we post with no signatures.
It may backfire and endless newbies may flood with links on b.s. posts.  I would be interested to see the experiment just to see results.
I gave op some merits because I encourage him to do what he did.

I don't think a signature vacation would achieve anything worthwhile and would prefer have a trial period where signature campaigns are not allowed. We could then look at the current state of the forum and compare it to when the signatures are off and then possibly have a vote on whether Bitcointalk was noticeably better without signatures at least the paying signature campaign type.

trunthidung you are a good member and the number of merits you earned so far confirms this.
However, what I can't understand is why you think that joining a sig campaign and wearing a signature is a burden! No one forced you to join in first place.. Right! Also you can leave whenever you like.
Just be yourself and post whenever you feel you want to post. If the campaign manager don't like that, just leave  Wink

So many people have left signature campaigns for various reasons, either they weren't satisfied with the pay, and they quit to see if a better campaign would accept them, few have left because they were not able to meet the requirements weekly, and probably needed a campaign that'll be more comfortable and would not compel one to post a particular amount.

You claim you're quitting campaigns for the moment, is that to say if you're offered a spot in let's say the chipmixer campaign, you'll turn it down?  Grin  Huh.
I doubt if you'll do that, so if you left your present campaign for one of the following reasons, I see no reason to make this thread, you can quietly leave your campaign without making a topic about it.

Ahh the internet.  I meant exactly what you mean. We worded it a bit differently.😀😀

@ COYSTER :

I would turn down a signature offer from anyone with the exception of bitmain if they offered me enough s17 pros I would do it .  But that is not very likely.  In fact it would be next to impossible.
