An introduction to ModiHost – an AI driven hotel management system

extra income in the form of the Pool Owner’s fee each time tokens from their pool are used.

Upsales happen when a guest spends money over and above the basic cost of his stay.
We enabled ModiHost to learn a guest’s likes and preferences. The system then stores the
information as metadata on the platform and it is incremented each time a person stays at that
hotel.

While the metadata is kept highly confidential, it is used to develop guest profiles. The system is
then able to make product and service suggestions to the guest, or to staff serving the guest,
that will enhance the guests stay.

By informing the guests of features they might like, the hotel benefits from upsales when guests
act on the information.

From the guest’s point of view, they are receiving relevant, personalised attention. This, in turn,
makes them feel highly appreciated and special whenever they visit the hotel.

Our platform is designed with the best security practices in place to protect guests’ data. The
metadata resides only on the platform and no hotel staff members or third parties are able to
access any portion of it.
