Not sure about the best one as pretty much every one of them has their strengths and weaknesses. The one I am still using the most today is IDEX, but they have lost a sizable chunk of my sympathy when they forced in the KYC process and so spoiled the anonymity of the process. As for the future, I have high hopes for Nash despite their struggle for attracting customers at the moment.

BISQ and Komodo are good choices. Maybe you want to try Binance DEX too. IDEX was my favourite decentralised exchange, until they implemented the KYC process.
I stopped using them, I also used them before and I think that they were the best during the old times but it has changed. @OP other DEXs that you can try. 9 Best Decentralized Exchanges That You Can Use To Trade NOWThanks for the link. I didn't know that Waves is still working? I used it before but there is low usage and I stayed for a month and there is not much change. Got a lot of coins under Waves but they do not even have a value because there is not much buyer. How is it now? Idex is a lot better than it before. I don't know the comparison now.

IDEX was my favourite decentralized exchange, it was easy to use, but then it was "improved" and I immediately stopped using it. Don't want to deal with it any more. I switched to BInance DEX, the most secure and trusted dex for now. Also I always use WAVES dex, as I am a fan of waves project.

I am waiting for a decentralized exchange that will support diffrent blockchains in a same time. I mean, for every blockchain we have DEX platform, but it is time to create DEX platform for all blockchains and their coins, don´t you think?
There is a project called Bandex, I read they support multi-chain. This project bounty was conducted in alphabounty0x, I wrote something about them on Reddit, I have not been following upon them. If they succeed, they will attract the needed liquidity in DEX.

Idex is still okay and still easy to use, only that you need to register with your email and password, and must conduct KYC if you are to withdraw more $5k/day. What you just need do is login with your email and password, and connect to IDEX with your Metamask, I am currently trading Xbase there. I can't say if Binance DeX is the most secured dex, besides they have limited tokens trading there.

Komodo is a very perfect selection for investment, and no doubt Komodo is trusted and they have some great developments every year. Besides Komodo, you may look into Vite Lab dex ViteX! ViteLabs is one of the top crypto projects no doubt and this year Vite labs launched its own VitrX exchange with its own Dex coin DX! Where everyone got hype on Binance DEX, Vitelabs impressed me a lot.

I'm looking for some DEX projects to invest in, since I believe they are the future of trading for those of us who care about privacy, security, and peace of mind while trading basically.
I found Blocknet, which was founded in 2014, launched the first functional DEX. Seems like a promising project with a good entry price right now.
Also found Komodo, Bisq, and a few others..
There seems to be so many out there as of late, what do you guys think?
There are lots of them available today. But not all of them are fully decentralized exchanges. Blocknet is an interesting project. I have seen reasonable amounts of positive reviews concerning the decentralized exchange. I don't know much about it aside from what I read from reviews. Have you tried Bisq? It's a good decentralized exchange

There's a lot like Kyber, Bancor, DDEX etc. most of them are very easy to use. In my opinion this Dex was so very safe unlike forkdelta.app need to import private. but if you don't want you can use metamask wallet for safety. Try to use the exchange I've mentioned.

Binance DEX is my favourite DEX right now. It has a user-friendly interface and loading fast than other decentralized exchanges. The next thing is the Binance is the top exchange right now. That means Binance DEX can bring more volume than other exchanges.

Actually, the dex binance is only superior by volume and its name if we compare it to other exchange dex, because if for a user-friendly interface also already owned by several other exchange dex, so the dex binance is superior through the name and volume only.

I think it all depends on each of us . Of course there are perks on the new ones but we wouldn't really know if they could survive, Just as you've said there are so many new projects out there so they are competing to get as much user as they could. So I think it is better to stick with the old and trusted one's rather than trying to risk your money in the new project which could turn into a scam. And I would still go to forkdelta or etherdelta if it is still running properly since they are the oldest DEX that I know. Besides if the new projects or DEX doesn't have enough trader then it would be useless since we couldn't trade properly in their site due to a low demand.
Of course everything will depend on ourselves in choosing the DEX. If we are talking about credibility, an old project posses it obviously but what we should think before choosing it is not only about credibility but also their userbase. there are few old project posses a good userbase but there are many new projects posses a higher userbase. userbase is the heart of the project, the more it has the better it becomes. That was why, I am choosing a new project over the old project because of its userbase.

IMO WavesDEX is the fastest (almost fast as a centralized exchange) and easiest available DEX nowadays. Gateway allow you to trade with BTC, ETH, ect... and fiat. Even if you don't endorse Waves, you are not forced to trade with Waves pairs. https://dex.wavesplatform.com/

DEXs are still new stuff and there isn't really any mature competitors out there yet, so you want to invest in the one that has the most potential as opposed to the best right now. The best right now would probably be Bisq for p2p trading. However, I'd suggest that you seriously look into BNB. They may not be the most decentralised, but with CZ's track record and their community dominance, I think it's clear cut that they'll be the most viable option. I think that Komodo will always be somewhat associated with anonymity which was their past, and I'm not sure whether or not that's going to be the way to go in the future.

Most of the projects on Binance Dex have high trading volumes and some well-developed coins will have a chance to be listed at Binance so for me this is the best decentralized exchange in the market . A lot of projects that used the ETH platform in the past have switched to the BNB platform because that's the best way to prove the value of that coin. In my opinion, people will trend to participate in decentralized trading more and if Binance Dex has more new trading tools then this is an exchange that you should consider participating.

I personally like waves DEX. It is fast and has not expensive costs. But you want to invest in a DEX project, so maybe you should look not only for the usability but also for popularity. It's a pity, but often wins mass over class.

I will choose the latest one other than the old one, there are many projects based on DEX out there as you mentioned above. but only a few of them caught my attention, have you heard vite? a new DEX project with a dividend. try to compare them from their technology, activity and entry point. I can not guarantee you will like it, but I can guarantee you that vite is very active in developing their system and gaining popularity. That is the point plus in choosing a new project other than the old one.
there is a similar project i saw weeks ago and they were doing bounty campaign here. its name is vitex, they do have a dividends program as well that by holding Vitex token, a holder will get VX coin which has value of some sort in their exchange. quite an interesting economy inside their exchanges and the team has reputable member with them from a reputable exchange as well. i'm sure you can find its thread when you google Vitex exchange. have no clue but it their exchange is live, it must be good.

IDEX was my favourite decentralised exchange, until they implemented the KYC process. Right now, Binance dex is looking good, but I still do not trust Binance. Thats why my number one right now is Forkdelta, however they are already collecting funds to survive.
Actually forkdelta and idex both of the most using decentralised exchanges. Specially i using forkdelta from long times ago. Also Forkdelta was my favourite. Forkdelta is very easily accessible DEX so that i like it. Definitely Binance DEX is enough legitimacy because which is a platform of Binance but i don’t know what's the wrong with you in this DEX. Just i didn’t use it for their some difficulty features. Forkdelta fully embodies the concept of a decentralized exchange, but it is almost impossible to trade on it due to the lack of liquidity. As for IDEX, this problem is solved there. In addition, Idex has a much more advanced design and speed.

Right, compared to forkdelta then I think idex has better features and good design. But if I have to choose, forkdelta seems the right choice even though liquidity is low but I like it more. But still, dex exchange has a weakness where the price of tokens/coins traded there tend to be cheaper than other exchanges.
