It's exactly fair, because in the cases cited and thousands more, the Muslims claim at the time of doing their atrocities, and later in Court, that they were doing it in defense of / for their God.

Certainly in the west things are quite imperfect, but in the case of an atrocity happening here it is almost non-existent that someone will claim they did it for their God. (Unless, of course, the perp is a Muslim...)
Anyone can say what they wanted but it doesn't mean the religion wanted to do things. So if someone is doing harmful things for any human they are doing haram which means it is not accepted by God.

"Religion wanted?" The religion is not an AI that speaks in each case.

The best your religion can do is have "experts" issue Fatwas. And you know some of those are batshit crazy. We can go into that subject if you want.

All you really have is imperfect humans reading an old book and interpreting it. You're here only to spread propaganda, practice Takiyya and attempt to handle various anti-Islam arguments (some of which are very unjust).

But meanwhile, your faith has many deep and serious problems. Ignore them if you wish. Makes no difference with me...

Basically I am not an expert in what Islam says,I just expressing what I know and learnt from my fellow Muslims.

I don't think Islam doesn't made any leaders, they were just messengers Isn't it? Some people still out there as saying they are leaders but I never heard what they were saying because I need to live my life for good.

I see lot of people here hates Islam for many reason and I would like to know each personals why they are hating, mention the reasons.

I am a Muslim but not a Jihad or extremist,I love my life since its become peaceful and no one has controlling me like what others think.

One particular thing I hate from Islam is Multiple marriages allowed because it was created for good intention but now its being misused.
Islam wasn't toxic in general only few of them. On the other hand, toxic christians also exist. All in all being toxic is not dependent on religion. I dont know what was their reason to marry multiple wives  but most important is that they are not hurting any people. We have a lot of good muslim friends and it doesn't matter if we are different as long as we respect each beliefs.

http://www.talmudunmasked.com/chapter14.htm

"The name of God is not profaned when it is not known by the Goi that the Jew has lied."

It sure is interesting how similar in some way Islam and Talmudic Judism are.  Makes a guy wonder...

Maybe the Koran has as many directly evil and supremacist things in it as does the Talmud, but I've not looked at it as much since obviously Islam is not much of a threat to me here in the U.S..

If there is a condensation of such disgusting teachings from the Christian Bible in the same vein as the above two referenced works, I'd love to see reference to it and would read it with interest.

I have a lot of muslim friends. Sincerely, they are very cool and caring. I dunno if those who kill others by suicide bombing and among others in the name of Allah have their support from Islam. If so, then i believe thats very extreme.

....
That's nice. Some people just try to spread hate and more ignorance and they are not able to see themselves as extremists. I'm not sure if there is something worse than a christian extremist in this world... these people are at a similar level of those guys from Islamic State. The difference is that they were raised in a better environment, they had every chance to improve themselves, but are rotten inside.

Similar level as Islamic State?

Really?

Really! Among various atrocities committed for many years, recently they bombed Afghanistan and Iraq and drove these countries into chaos. Total psychos! And the most incredible thing is... they believe to be heroes! Well, well... the Islamic State thinks the same, but they don't have the media to tell this story  Wink

That's what I was going to say. I don't hate Islam nor the Muslims. I just find their willingness to kill others in the name of Allah very violent. When I hear news of terrorism which the Muslim terrorists caused, I get really sad and confused at the same time because I do not know nor understand the reason behind their doings.

We don't need to hate Islam because of their religion. We are all humans and all we will all die in the end. Life is too short to hate one another, we should understand and respect each other. Whatever religion we still believe in one God.

When I said arab I don't really mean you are an arab. You see, this isn't just statistics (even though statistics can sometimes portray reality). I live in the Philippines and mind you the southern part is infested by Muslims and this isn't just about media manipulating people. The Islamic region in our country (Mindanao) is the most violent. At least once a month I will hear some news such as "Terrorist from Sulu bombed the Catholic church in Davao", "Indonesian suicide bomber raised in Southern Cotabato kills 12".

In the Northern region, I never heard any news relating to suicide bombing. Some cases were perpetrated by ISIS but where did ISIS come from? They are the people who are easily manipulated by Qur'an.
When you say you are hearing then it means from media, they can say what they want and ignore what happened in reality. Why media doesn't cover Muslims harrased in America and other developed countries? If there is a muslim commit bomb blast then media talk about a lot but for other religion its just a small news.

LIKE I TOLD YOU BEFORE, This isn't just about media spreading propaganda! I visited one of the places that got bombed and it is real. And the suspect that did it is caught in surveillance camera and I am certain that its facebook profile is of a Muslim!

All the suicide bombing that happened in our country, I haven't witnessed anyone that is of a non-Islamic perpetrator. It is evident that the answer to that is because their Unholy book convinces them to do so by manipulating them that they will receive a hefty reward doing so.

As a muslim, you should be well aware of the concept of 'Houri' in islam: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houri

That's the one driving those imbeciles to blow themselves up. Allahu Snackbar MotherF*cker!

And to add, do you even know what happens to muslims who leave islam? Today, apostasy is still a crime in whopping 16 out of 49 Muslim majority countries! Religion of peace indeed! More like religion of bovine excrement!

From your link on Houris ... Personally I find these descriptions weird and offensive...

Muhammad al-Bukhari (810–870):
...everyone will have two wivesF from the houris, (who will be so beautiful, pure and transparent that) the marrow of the bones of their legs will be seen through the bones and the flesh.

— Muhammad al-Bukhari, Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 54 "The Beginning of Creation", hadith 476)[33]
[People who enter Paradise] will not urinate, relieve nature, spit, or have any nasal secretions. Their combs will be of gold, and their sweat will smell like musk. The aloes-wood will be used in their censers. Their wives will be houris. All of them will look alike and will resemble their father Adam (in stature), sixty cubits tall.

— Muhammad al-Bukhari, Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 55 "Prophets", hadith 544[34][35]
[note 2]
Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj Nishapuri (821–875):
Muhammad reported that some (persons) stated with a sense of pride and some discussed whether there would be more men in Paradise or more women ... and every person would have two wivesG and the marrow of their shanks would glimmer beneath the flesh and there would be none without a wife in Paradise.

— Al-Tirmidhi, Jami` at-Tirmidhi (Surah Waaqi’ah, 35–37).[38]

A houri is a most beautiful young woman with a transparent body. The marrow of her bones is visible like the interior lines of pearls and rubies. She looks like red wine in a white glass. She is of white color, and free from the routine physical disabilities of an ordinary woman such as menstruation, menopause, urinal and offal discharge, child bearing and the related pollution. A houri is a girl of tender age, having large breasts which are round (pointed), and not inclined to dangle. Houris dwell in palaces of splendid surroundings.

...

Here's one which strikes me as 'weird and offensive':

Quote
Reader: I have a question about the statement in Sanhedrin, which troubles me, regarding child sex. It says that homosexual relations with a boy below 9 years is not considered homosexuality, and that there is no punishment and this implies no prohibition. Can you explain why this might be the case?

Mesora: The Talmud cites a dispute between Rav and Shmuel: Rav says that for one who engages in homosexual behavior with a child below 9, there is no punishment of the offender, while Shmuel says that once a boy reaches 3 years, homosexual relations are recognized.

What is their argument?

I believe Rav holds that until 9 years of age, there is no act of homosexuality; as the child cannot initiate a sexual act, he is also not viewed as a partner, so as to contribute to a homosexual relationship. See Rashi who states that although a full adult is not required, i.e., 13 years, some maturity is required to obligate the offender in a homosexual act. The Rabbis deemed a child of 9 as meeting this requirement. But below 9, the boy is no different than an inanimate object, as there lacks any “psychological partner”. Hence, there is no Torah prohibition of homosexuality. Shmuel differs, suggesting that homosexuality is not based on psychological maturity, but on the physical ability of intercourse. Shmuel says that since intercourse is derived from normal (female) intercourse, which commences at three when her body is fit, so too, homosexuality exists with a boy once he is three. Normal sexuality is derived from a man-woman union, and transposed onto males to obligate the violator in homosexuality.

Their argument is what determines sexual readiness: maturity (psychologically) according to Rav, or, according to Shmuel, simple, physical capability.

I would add that although no punishment exists, I would not say there are no violations for pedophiles, for the adult is certainly abusing the child physically and mentally, while also spilling his seed. He also partakes of corrupt emotions similar to recognized homosexual behavior.

Opps.  Were we only bashing Muslims on this thread?  My bad.

No wonder people are pondering whether some of these 'people of the Sacred Serpent' are genuinely Satanic.

If you expand your knowledge beyond the Abrahamic religions, you will find that the sacred serpent is present worldwide in the most varied cultures. It is a pity that this debate is so limited by ignorance and prejudice.

Opps.  Were we only bashing Muslims on this thread?  My bad.

Indeed it is a pity.  The concept of the 'light bearer', 'bringer of knowledge', etc, probably does have analogs in most other religions.  The basic concepts are ubiquitous to be sure, and various flows of culture (e.g., Hollywood) peddle them in some form constantly.  How honor was paid to such an entity as 'the Serpent' in the various socio-religious instances would be good for most inquisitive people to contemplate.

What we seem to have here is a situation where people realize that 'knowledge is power' and are not keen to share it so the 'secrets of the serpent' tend to go un-derground readily.  There might be other reasons for the secrecy as well.

Nowadays the information is abundant, but each one connects to what resonates with themselves. The occult literature, forbidden in the past, has been available for a century. Blavatsky, Regardie, Crowley... you can find Kabbalistic groups on youtube or facebook. But most people choose the worst and most distorted things on the web, crazy conspiracy blogs... Grin According to Judaism, there are soul levels, Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama... most people are in the first level - Nefesh, the animal level, the lower materialistic one, so they will look for things at this level of understanding. There are Religious and Atheists at this level. They spend a lot of time discussing and looking for "proofs" of scriptures, both ignoring their metaphoric, symbolic meanings. This knowledge is free, for those who are open to receive.

I have a lot of muslim friends. Sincerely, they are very cool and caring. I dunno if those who kill others by suicide bombing and among others in the name of Allah have their support from Islam. If so, then i believe thats very extreme.
When I hear news of terrorism which the Muslim terrorists caused, I get really sad and confused at the same time because I do not know nor understand the reason behind their doings.
Though it was totally not okay and a sin to kill your fellow human from our point of view, for them that's fine as long as it is for Allah's name. It's okay for them because it is one of their ways to defend their religion against any oppositions.

We don't need to hate Islam because of their religion. We are all humans and all we will all die in the end. Life is too short to hate one another, we should understand and respect each other. Whatever religion we still believe in one God.
I agree with you dude because I still believe that LOVE is the greatest power in the world. However, it was so ideal to every person in this planet loves each other because if that's true then there should be no wars at all. I get your point but what if those kind of Muslims do not think the way you think and can't reciprocate the love and compassion you show for them? What would you do?

How can you deicde facebook profile information is real? You didn't knew that anyone can any amount of profile in facebook?

Lets see in this way, someone want to commit crime so they create fake fb profile and add fake muslim name.

AFAIK,I never taught to klll anyone whether they are muslims or not,if we find sins we have to try to stop them if not at least hate them, thats it.
