binance and other big exchanges always do their part to investigate the projects before listing them for fund raising but its better to do your own research too although projects from binance exchange are reliable, till date i haven't seen IEO projects from binance that failed

Obviously it is better than ICO because the exchange will not list any project randomly unlike ICO. They need to pass the tests before they get listed on the exchange, meanwhile every project is able to run the ICO because they do not need to do any test and could just randomly run it on their platform.
there is no free lunch, of course the exchange will get benefit from it but do not forget the investors too. Of course there is a small number of exchanges out there that do not care about any project that is listed on their exchange because what they care about is not their reputation but money.

Good points on how to ascertain if a project is worthy to invest in its IEO or not, but I don't fully support the aspect about checking their number of followers on social media. My reason is because some projects will just boost their number of followers or group members on telegram by doing an airdrop or even using fake members. Talking about team, it's very important to do thorough checks on the team because even if other factors seem right and the team is not up to the task, the project will definitely fail. I also think you are missing out the tokenomics aspect, check vetting period for team members too.

I totally agree with you, because the if there is a failure or fraud, of course it will endanger the market binance itself, because the user or investor will lose the trust to invest in other ieo existing in the binance, of course the developer must really meet the requirements specified by binance before a project ieo in the binance market, of course as one of the major crypto markets today, binance is one of the targets developers to be able to work together.

It is more important to consider if they have a working technology already (prototype or MVP) and not just ideas and buzz words. Nice info, if every newbies can stop investing money in projects from bad or low exchanges they won't lose money like i am seeing on the internet today, big exchanges are what stands between project owners 'team' and investors so they have their reputation to safe first which is why they make sure that new projects meet their critics before allowing them

There is another way if you are too scared to invest in IEO projects, i used to advice newbies to choose from the list of successful projects from binance or gate exchanges instead, projects like celer network, matic or harmony among others are good projects with real use cases

Indeed! IEOs are very similar to ICOs. People think that if an IEO is associated with big exchanges, they must be promising. But they don't understand the big money game behind it. The larger the exchange is, the bigger fees are paid! These exchanges don't do an extensive due diligence to assess the legitimacy of that project. If anyone is investing in an IEO based on these 4 parameters, GOD help them!

I will keep putting my faith on big exchanges because they are just better and with their reputation at stake it will be hard to lose your fund to scammers, binance for example have wide history of successful IEO projects and not a single bad one, its all good if you ask me, way better than ICO was, i just which IEO was the first before ICO

I agree with all these tips. I have been joining IEOs and I have noticed a lot of scam projects. It's really important for us to check all these criteria to get rid of scammers. Big exchanges have a really big impact on choosing a legit IEO. A certain coin must be listed in a top exchange to make sure that its legit and has a potential in the future.

well its guaranteed that coins doing IEO on big exchanges are going to be listed but is not going to promise big profit when it comes to holding the tokens, you will have to really trade it and if possible accumulate more with the investment you send. this isn't a guarantee for bounty hunters to profit as well, developers today knew what could happen if they distribute the tokens right when the listing on the exchange is open. EIO and ICO seem to have no difference as said. look how bittorent had become, doesn't seem to have success to me.

I think obviously IEO is better than ICO for the many different reasons. First of all IEO is launched from exchanges whether big or small exchanges. It’s a one kind of your money is more secured from ICO. Because there are no guarantee about exchanges in ICO projects. In IEO's you have good option to invest in the bigger exchanges launchpad projects those are will be big successful. But in ICO's projects you have to huge research to find out decent projects.

Having a IEO in a bigger exchange is good for earning shortly after listing. The sales explode for a short time, but it does not take long to come back to the price they deserve. Be careful with this.

Community is an important factor once they do not ask about distribution of bounty or airdrop. Most project followers are 10k or more, because bounty's rules force for it.

Whitepaper and the team should be investigated. Already scammers do not care about anything, they scam people without hiding their identities.

good information, but I think those who want to participate in IEO already know this. so no need to worry, they must already have the knowledge to judge whether the project is good or not. the problem is not during IEO, but after IEO. many good projects but can not survive the dump, even though it has been supported by large exchanges such as binance, huobi, KUCOIN and others. not because the scam or the project was less popular but the number of investors who bought it when the IEO dumped when they saw the price of tokens/coins increased. this is the problem, you know that almost all of the current IEO projects are always like this.

start IEO in a large exchange> success (all tokens sold out)> prices are pumped after IEO> 2 or 3 weeks after that there is a dump> the price falls below the current price of IEO> and disappears.
