After starting a serious discussion with the users of the forum about what should be done to prevent spam as well as unwanted bans and seeing some fellow members expressing their views, I decided to write this out as I couldn't resist.

Dear Yobit (or Cryptotalk) Officials,
I want to ask you some questions and share some suggestions herewith to make you know what kind of shitposting is still being carried on here.

Were any steps taken or research done on why your previous campaign failed and got banned here?

Would you mind if a participant of your campaign who is not happy at all, wants to suggest you some changes? And if you are open to suggestions, will you just hear them from one ear and throw it out of the other or you will give a damn, look out for the possible changes and work that change here?

Why don't you guys:
+ Add more rules to the campaign?

+ Limit the boards so that the users don't shitpost everywhere 'this is for those who do', even if they do then that will be for their own interest sake and this will show how much balls they have got to post for free!

+ Set max limits to 10 instead of 20? Yahoo is proposing 5 but I think 10 is fine because there are many competitive campaigns that pay well to their users for less number of posts and those interested in the good of forum will not spam and deserving posts should be paid

+ Set a minimum merit requirement for each member type trying to join and remain in the campaign?

+ Decide that a fixed set of users will only be able to join this campaign? For example, set a fixed amount for Sr, Hero and Legendary spots?

+ Set a fixed post limit instead? Or even if with Max posts per day, can't you increase the pay? That'd only let high quality users remain in the campaign. I have seen many campaigns paying even BTC0.015 or higher with just 25 posts taking the pay per post to around BTC0.0006

+ Can't you follow for e.g. Yolodice? Well I selected them because you both begin with the word Yo)

Give Sr BTC0.00025 and Hero/Legendary BTC0.00035 per post? If you have a higher budget, you can go for even more Wink

10 posts per day (my proposal) * BTC0.00025 Sr member rate * 7 days of a week = BTC0.0175

10 posts per day (my proposal) * BTC0.00035 Hero/Legendary member rate * 7 days of a week = BTC0.0245

Or less pay per post or keep it the same.

@yahoo62248,
You cannot really ban and stop a lot of users here because that will be a huge workload on your side. Why can't yobit set limits for boards to post in? They can, if there are some local posts restrictions, there can be more.
Another thing based on my personal opinion, you cannot ask us to make n number of posts because you think that's fair, until Yobit implements the same as there may be users who post well and deserve to be paid well, it's just that they were not lucky enough to get themselves a seat in a high paying campaign for less posts. Rather, I had a request here that instead of banning people from campaigns, why can't you decide which posts should/should not be counted for? Let Yobit not pay us for at least 48-72 hours even after our earnings get credited there! Is that much time sufficient for you to decide what should we be paid for? I mean if that is possible for you at the very first place. So at least this won't stop a user from posting any number of posts daily based on their interest and not just to earn that buck.

All those suggestion seems good but they want to hear this?

Its again like beating a dead horse, they won't hear anything neither add more rules too because they want more exposure about the thing they wanted to promote, only good thing done by them is quality checker it is also to prevent them from being banned again.

Better invite the yobit bitcointalk official to post here via PM.

I want good not just for their project alone, but for our forum and fellow users too. So to stop all the shit going, once and for all, let's do this, raise our voice and make them as well as our fellow users hear what we have to say, and follow at least something out of it.

It's clear that Yobit doesn't care. In fact, I believe that they are purposely accepting hundreds of users to transform this forum into a cesspool of spammers.

No signature campaign needs hundreds of users to be posting in every section/thread of this forum. I am wondering how they even pay them as the cost of maintaining the campaign runs extremely high. It's not that Yobit has been generating so much profit that they can easily afford it. At one point a large group of users will probably end up without pay because Yobit decides that it was enough. We forgot that this is not for promoting yobit exchange, this is for promoting a new cryoto forum so I guess there are some people want to create a forum like bitcointalk so they are investing heavily from their hand.

Cryptotalk forum also may end up like ICO forum which came up with high ETH rewards now they were offline because there is no actual discussion on those forum people were just running to make posting rewards.

Nobody from Yobit is listening. I'm just glad someone (Yahoo) is here to keep an eye on things and liaise with them.

+ Set max limits to 10 instead of 20? Yahoo is proposing 5 but I think 10 is fine because there are many competitive campaigns that pay well to their users for less number of posts and those interested in the good of forum will not spam and deserving posts should be paid

10 is great but 5 is better. It's pretty out of control right now. Cutting out a super majority of the spam -- rather than half -- seems more appropriate.

10 or even 5 posts would be fine with me. I rarely ever even hit 10 a day anyways. But, it seems their site is having a lot more problems right now than this signature campaign that they have to deal with. It just went down for me and is showing a default Apache page whenever I try to load it. I hope all is well. I've tried checking their Twitter and don't see any news on anything. Hopefully they're just upgrading the server and nothing serious has happened. I've got a small amount of funds on there and am kind of worried. Anyone know anything?

dude "Yobit Officials" never read or reply to their personal messages, barely visit their own topics and barely answer their numerous scam accusations all over the forum. not to mention they also barely answer support tickets in their exchange. your topic's audience is only going to me regular members of the forum Tongue

their goal is clear too. they want to spend least amount of money and time, hire the maximum number of people to get the most number of spam posts to get the maximum exposure. all your suggestions are good but are against their goal!

I read they closed new registration on the yobit so this maybe an issue for new user but you already have one you may not be facing this.

I've been using Yobit for years. That has nothing to do with it. It seems like it's a DNS issue. I can load it up just fine on my 4g LTE cell service. But, on my pc, I just get the default Apache page and 404 errors if I try to go to any links. Don't think this has anything to do with being a new user. It's probably something to do with Cloudflare if I had to guess.

If you are expecting Yoshit officials to respond to your topic then you are living in a fool's paradise. Optimism is a good thing, I agree, but optimism without logic is a waste of time and energy.

The fact that only few of the Cryptotalk participants will read this and maybe change their ways of posting is the only thing that would be good. The rest of them will either get blacklisted by yahoo, or get banned on too many posts removed or simply caught to be an alt of some red-trusted user.

You should visit this cryptotalk forum once a while and check at the immense level of shitposting to get paid that is occurring there. No number of moderators can control it, which having to tear all the hair from their heads to start cleaning the mess up. I am sure Yoshit does nothing about that too.

Dear Yobit (or Cryptotalk) Officials,

Just think a little: do they have any interest in keeping high quality at bitcointalk, or it suits them better if bitcointalk fills up with spam and low quality posts?
Imho the only case they'll move a finger is if their campaign is risking a ban or anything.

There is no Crypto/yobit staff who will answer on this OP thread because since start they will never care about the forum. Even though a lengthy of the post they can't control this even if the participants bump a post, still it is counted. Just like one of their participants admit it here.

I agree with 5-10 posts per day max in every participant, that was a good decision to cut flood spam in the forum. Those accounts continue spamming I think their accounts are ready to throw away if ever they will ban.

You have a good intention but it all goes down to what Yobit wants to accomplish, they are promoting a forum that wants to get optimize in a short period of time, and you know what? they are actually hitting the target

Just last week they are on the 1 million mark, maybe next month they will be om the 50 mark on the way to 20k mark and so the competition begins between Yobit's Cryptotalk and Bitcointalk, soon many ICO and Yobit themselves will advertise on their forum.

I've seen the Yobit account respond. They did take the suggestion that a campaign manager can ban users from the campaign for violations. So they will be reading this.

The average campaign at this time has a fixed weekly limit of 25. 25 per week. So 25 paid posts per week. That's only 3 or 4 a day, and 5 a day if you don't post on weekends.

Really?

Cryptotalk will be an alternative to bitcointalk?

If there is no rewards for posting on cryptotalk then there will be no more visitors so they have to keep paying all the days if they want to maintain this traffic.

Right, even majority of this community do say that they arent responding or doesnt read up but they actually did recently.

People suggested on having a campaign manager and they did and now if all will talk about this kind of request then they might consider on adding it up and it will be more
be considered if the manager of this campaign will seconded on said suggestion.High chances there would be some overhaul when it comes to post count required.

Roll Eyes

But they pay daily... There is another possibility. Yobit's pockets are deeper than you thought and they actually make profits by hiring these posters.

@Op have you tried posting these questions in Cryptotalk forum itself? or you just doing it here for obvious reason (getting paid). there is higher chance that they read your questions in their own forum and reply to it too. I see Moderators are replying there. I am not sure how much those moderators are officials tho. they could be very officials or they could be third persons hired by Yobit to moderate the forum.

of course they are making profits. why would they spend so much money if they don't make profit. Yobit is a pretty large exchange. they have lots of issues including trust issues. but still thousands of people trade their on daily bases.

OP, you have some good ideas, but the main problem is that Yobit simply don't care. Yahoo probably communicate with Yobit staff and I'm sure that he already suggested how to improve campaign - adding merit requirements, adding manual approval of participants or reducing number of max posts per day. If Yobit would care a little bit about quality of their campaign, some change would been made long time ago.

Really?

Cryptotalk will be an alternative to bitcointalk?

If there is no rewards for posting on cryptotalk then there will be no more visitors so they have to keep paying all the days if they want to maintain this traffic.
Exactly, when Yobit will stop paying for posts in Cryptotalk, this website immediately will turn into ghost forum.
