If you go to our local board you will read some good news about small businesses starting to accept bitcoin as their part of the payment. also, those projects who continue to develop some future blockchain technology, they always link their projects with bitcoin. I dont see any reason for it to disappear, its a type of currency which has a lot of users, if this will disappear sooner or later, users wont bother to come and invest on it. Nah, everything created is bound to be extinct in the far future as nothing is consistent but change. There will always be change in whatever aspect that you apply it, just like in our fiat. Slowly, the world is adapting to a new kind of change- which is digital cash or money. In the near future, once the blockchain gets implemented in our current transactions, this would spark the change towards digital cash as our main medium of exchange.

As for Bitcoin, its current status is sensitive to change. Once the government announces that it will be prohibiting the utilization of such, countries would avoid using it which will eventually affect bitcoin and its total number of users.
