Etherdelta and Forkdelta are old and famous decentralized exchanges right now. You can exchange Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens on those exchanges. The Binance DEX is a good decentralized exchange. Because Binance DEX is Binance. You all know about Binance. You can exchange BNB and BEP-2 tokens on Binance DEX. The Binanve DEX has BNB, BTC and fiat trading pairs.

Etherdelta used to be the most popular DEX that time. But is Etherdelta is still operating until now? Thought it was left behind by its developers? I remember there were people that lost money in that DEX. There were also many victims due to hacking and phishing. After that, many people including me would rather trade on reliable exchanges than DEX.

I think Binance Chain is too much old than Forkdelta. Whatever, Etherdelta and Forkdelta both of old but still the most using decentralised exchanges and still huge popular. But i also agree Binance DEX is so famous exchange. But still i'm not use to this exchange. Specially all of the newbies start with forkdelta and also idex exchange which one is more effective. But i using idex from a lot of months ago and sometimes going in forkdelta.

I often use Etherdelta before but now Forkdelta I bet its bounty hunters favorite DEX where they sell their unlisted tokens for quick buck in short its a bargain exchange. My new favorite now is Binance DEX potentially an Ethereum DEX killer, driven by popularity that some projects migrated right away from ERC20 TO BEP2.

Binance DEX, ViteX, Idex, and Forkdelta.
DEX is not about fees but it is all about its capability executing the transactions, you can use Binance DEX and ViteX several times in a row with the same address because it is safe for you to do that. On Idex and Forkdelta, it is better to use a different address after you use it on their platform. I had a problem with their platform, ever since I used their platform I encountered a hack which resulted in a loss of several ETHs.

I  have never heard of someone getting hacked on Idex and Forkdelta before. Can you please share your experience in order to create awareness and alert for new users who decide to use these two platforms? Is it because you entered the wrong URL or you compromised your private keys even before importing your account?

This "killer" term has been used quite too much all the time. BNB was ETH killer so were NEO, Waves, and so many others before and now. Why the term? There is competition everywhere, even in the crypto world. The migration was even insignificant. And even CZ himself of Binance did not agree to the fans saying that BNB blockchain is going to become the killer of Ethereum blockchain.

Seems like DEX is the next big thing in crypto space today? many wants the decentralized act to be a reality, even John McAfee ends up building his own dex exchange as well, but the main issue that still unsolved is lack of volumes on dex exchanges even binance dex aint that great

First I will see the trade volume, I don't want wait to long to see my sell or buy orders executed.

Look at the UI, for me IDEX is still the best and the web fast to load.

I use WavesDex and IDEX also but DEX is not my first choice for trade I more often use CEX.

I'd like to discuss DEX exchanges and its variety.
There are many of it, and top-lists of top DEX exchanges are appearing often as well (here's an example for 2019). After reading one of the latest articles about it, I started to think -- there's too much info and not all of it is trustworthy. Reading reviews, comparing fees... I'd like to know which DEX platform you use and how did you make a decision about it?
Could you tell if you stick to one particular platform or use several of them? What criteria did you rely on?
BinanceChain, IDEX, Bancor, Bisq are among the reputable DEXs you can use.
In the present time a lot of false information around us. In order to get the right information about everything you need to find a few sources that you trust and get the information from them. It does not matter to fibber that this information is important for you or not.

Dex were created for complete security to our funds but we have to ensure that we are depositing funds in actual dex and we are in control of our funds. In dex we have our private keys so no one can steal or scam you so if you don't have any then its a scam.I read binance dex is the best but not sure they were already available on everywhere?

The platform I already used.

1. WaveDex : very easy looking and good UI for newbie.
2. Fork/etherdelta: easy to use and maybe not a good choice for newbie.

Back to our goal using that platform are for selling our token with fastest way to make them liquid to our own currency. But if you are  more patience for waiting, use  big centralized exchanges to sell your token.

I don't know why you're asking this question. But for McAfee's newly opened DEX, your chances of becoming SCAM are very high. I think it's best to stay away.

choose DEX that has been operating for a long time such as IDEX or forkdelta. or if the new dex might be binanceDEX because this DEX comes from a large exchange.

most importantly do not use the new DEX, this is very dangerous because they do not have a reputation. so it's better to avoid the new DEX.

There are no great decentralised exchanges at the moment. My favourite one was IDEX, but at the moment they have implemented a KYC process. Binance DEX and McAffeeDEX are still not perfect, so I am trading only on Forkdelta.

I use Idex, and of recent this year, I started using Binance DeX. My decision for Binance DeX is because it has gained reputation over the years. So i believe in the products.

I think all exchanges should be decentralized. Especially the increase in hacking incidents in the Central exchanges makes me think that way. I find decentralized exchanges much safer for that. Binance is aware of this, and that's why Binance launched DeX. But before that there were also very high quality decentralised exchanges. But I don't think any exchange will be as safe and high quality as Binance's exchanges

I really like that you say not all the information on decentralized exchanges are trustworthy. This is actually true.
Not everything that is called DEX is truely DEX. Decentralized exchanges should be well decentralized in my opinion for it to be considered safe. So, Google "the most decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges"  for recommendations. Before you start using the recommended ones, make sure they are actually decentralized and not partly decentralized. It should be decentralized, trustless/permissionless etc

Actually choose DEX as an exchange only when new coins are listed on the DEX exchange. For trading, I rarely use the DEX platform. Because the DEX platform has no variations. Moreover, you give an example of altcoin.io. I have never used it, so I cannot comment on this exchange. While Etherdelta is a limited exchange platform, only erhereum coins support.

Decentralised and centralised are both prone in hacking so its not guranteed that using dex will make your money secured. I remember this etherdelta incidents before they move to fork delta there are  users have a problem with thier  token and balances and also many user complaininh abiut possible hacking that happen.
