I just funded them as instructed on the website (which told me to fund them using funding.coldkey.eu). I'm not worried about shipping though.

yogg was up very late working and still trying to get caught back up.  They got everything straightened out on the website.  Those of us with subscriptions will be getting funding emails today.  Nothing to be concerned or worry about.

Sorry everyone for the confusions.

This quarter has been rough and a bit of a nightmare;
mainly due to the uncertainty of shipping parcels with loaded Coldkeys, as we are responsible for our customer's BTC.


The funding emails for subscribers have now been sent out !

We have already started to ship outstanding orders for which everything is alright.
All orders shipped from now on benefit from our latest shipping procedure.

I just funded them as instructed on the website (which told me to fund them using funding.coldkey.eu). I'm not worried about shipping though.

These are shipped unloaded, that is correct.
They become loaded once you have confirmed that you received your parcel with your new shipping tool.
Inside the parcel, you will find more information about how to do so.

However, as this collection consists only of Coldkeys that contain BTC, we require the funding before they are sent out.
For more safety, we will be holding onto your BTC during transit and load them only when they are in your hand.

Please accept my most sincere apologies everyone.
I wouldn't have dreamt of what happened even in my worst nightmare.

I should have frozen the whole operation during the crisis.
Fortunately, this gave us the opportunity to further work on our procedures in order to provide more safety to your parcels.

You should have received the email about the funding now.
Shipping has resumed, every complete* order will ship in the flow of outgoing parcels.

* : an order is complete when we have collected the funding for it.
I will send another email as of tomorrow to our customers with outstanding orders, for which we received no funding.
Orders without any Coldkey that is loaded will be directly shipped;
expect to receive a tracking number in the coming days as we are effectively resuming shipping parcels.

if you are not picky when it comes to serial #s , then it should be possible from time to time to pick up a month in an auction or in a trade/sale.

is there a way to get set for a specific serial number going forward? I guess that is more geared towards yogg

at least what I have experienced so far: yogg can not and does not guarantee a specific serial number, but he is trying to give those ppl who are already in the series with a specific number this serial number again. I have been asked myself in the past to step back for a card with a specific serial number in favor of another user who has already been in this serial number of coldkeys quite from the start and - it goes without saying - I did step back because I do not want to destroy their collection; so in particular in terms of lower serial numbers, it will be tough for you. honestly, I would also be pretty pissed when I'm in the history coldkey series right from the start with a specific number and a new/another member steps in months later demanding to get my specific serial number for the future - and is getting it granted. that would ruin a lot of trust in the company, so I can't imagine that.

makes perfect sense. I was not trying to request one that someone else was collecting either - just curious if there were any that were not already spoken for is all - a starting point for going forward. I, in no way, am asking to break up someones collection.

your "problem" would be that the coldkeys for the specific month were on sale just for a limited period. after this period the coldkeys were not on sale (and will not be sold) any more, even if there still were some left; e.g. when you are interested in -let's say- #30 of all cards, it might be that in some months less than 30 coldkeys have been sold and the rest has been destroyed (?), at least is not meant to be sold any more. even if you get #30 of all of +30months, you still will lack of your serial number of the -30months ...

yea i checked dont see any. I do see the May/June the coinfest and the genesis ones.

It's all good, if he plans to keep doing this, I may just start with Jan 2021 and go from there, to get a full year

as long as you keep your fingers from our low serial #s 

haha - I would only request to get a serial number if its not been consistently someone elses - ie one that was not sold in the prior month or month's maybe but that I could try and get going forward perhaps. and I might start with oct 2020 now that i think about it, his 2nd year of doing them. and then slowly try and get first year ones as well.

I already have 4 cold keys - all of this is to collect, I dont ever see my self selling anything in my collection unless I somehow end up with dupes. which so far the only dupe I have is the ledger nano pizza edition.

These parcels feature our new "2FA" procedure to safely make shipments that hold no digital BTC but become loaded once you confirmed the receipt.


On another note, I'm not sure what is going on with French post, but all parcels that were shipped out last week still appear in the state "Label created; please leave at post office".
That is still the status for the parcels today, however they were collected and inserted into the postal system as usual.

The courier who picks them up said there is still lots of delay at different sorting center down the line.
