If you didn't know this is how Yobit threatened a blogger previously (unrelated to above). Yobit deleted this tweet afterwards so its unavailable now:
https://i.imgur.com/wbuTraF.jpgIIRC then I have seen this tweet. Most probably it's true.
Yobit site has a section where recent tweets show up and there I saw maybe. 85% sure!
Wait; did they actually offered money to someone who would dox him? Is this for real?
Add that to the pile of shit yobit has been pulling if that's actually real, and i wouldn't understand why anyone still uses them.
Slightly offtopic: i received an email from them like a week ago that they were restarting signature campaign again, but haven't seen them popping up.. Was it so short-lived? Anyone know what happend?
Can you give us your source for this information? Those are definitely very big claims and that people shouldn't automatically believe 100% without a source or proof.
Yep that's reasonable. Tell me what shall I ask him to produce - a screenshot of his mailbox? raw headers of the email?
Also, though it would probably make sense that the DDOS was from Yobit, how did you or YobitScam.net come to the conclusion that it was indeed 100% Yobit that was doing the DDOS-ing?
Alright he said DDOS-ing started exactly the moment Yobit found out that YobitScam.net flyers were being delivered on the Blockchain life conference which took place 16-17 Oct. Also Yobit sent the abuse complaint with false statements in it (see the first message) to Cloudflare at exactly same time too. If you ask me, cmmon! who else on Earth would have any interest in DDOS-ing those small boring sites. But we can ask him to produce more evidence. Does anyone know can he ask Cloudflare to investigate/confirm that attack?
Cloudflare can investigate all they want, but they'll never be able to confirm whether it was yobit or not, (unless yobit is actually braindead and DOS'd them using their own servers or something)
Without proof of someone on the inside, all that it'll ever be is that it's just a strong coincidence. They could endlessly argue that it wasn't them.
Doesn't really matter for me whether or whether they did not DDOS though, to shape an accurate image of yobit as a company, considering the other facts -> (Pump & Dump schemes, no support etc), but i neither would be surprised at this point if they hired someone to stir some shit.
