Day Trading or Long-term Hodl?

Trade is very profitable site work I think. After 2 years still doesn't listed any good exchange but I earned more than 10 Ethereum. I can't understand day trading because wait some time to profit, you can call short term trading.

Day trading is fit for those who has time, but if you have a work, you can do day trading but only 1-3 coins, as you need to do and check them out if they are really worth to invest, not just because the price is increasing then you will buy, there are things to consider before you will consider that.

I don't think I want to consider day trading right now.

In theory, trading is more profitable than long-term hold. After all, you can increase your capital several times and in the future, when the market grows, you will get much more profit. Therefore, learning to trade will never be superfluous.

I prefer to be a long term hodler with my main assets and a short term hodler with some of my coins which I'm looking for early profits. I'm bad at trading as I tried a few times but I never got it right so I decided to stop trading in order to prevent loosing money.

The decision is up to each of you but if you're good at both I'm sure you can find a method to manage 2 investments types.

I will recommend both because sometimes the market condition is good and sometimes it is bad, so for making money everybody should know both i.e. day trading along with long term holding, it will benefit a lot.
You should not quit day trading just study about it more and more because Day trading is very important for daily income.

I used to love Holding when I first joined the crypto space but not nowadays. I have seen that day trading is one of the best solutions to the current market and that has really helped me recover my lost money which I loosed in shit coins.

Except top 10 coins on cmc, I just do prefer daily trade, because another coins except that mostly have long time to recover its prices when they already dump, it make me scare if it can't reverse.
Long term trade just for eth and bitcoin only for me.

if I personally look at the market situation, so if the market condition is not good (unstable) then I prefer to do trading, but if the market condition is good (the price continues to rise) then I prefer to hold and wait until the price rises very high, because it can give me a very big profit.

the trade carried out for me depends on the needs and potential that exists. but for long-term investment in my opinion is quite good in conditions of any trend, because long-term investment requires time and focus in investment. and for short-term investments I think more based on the potential of the coin at that time

long term isnt suitable on bearish market, because the longer you hold coins, the price would be deeper

i take example in 2018, many coins were falling down even we dont know where is the bottom

in that condition if we do long term, then we will get BIG LOSE

Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and Atomic wallet (AWC) could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.

Do not get your hopes up and hold on too long with altcoin, in fact many thousands of altcoins fail to reach the point of success, even the tokens that you hold (SNTR) to this day are increasingly worthless. investing in the top 10 coinmarketcap in my opinion is very good for the future, especially bitcoin (because this is the main). Invest wisely and start trading if you have understood carefully. investing 60% in bitcoin and 30% in altcoin makes more sense to me.

im just wondering, why you still keep that coin while it had hard dump? i never hold coin that i bought if the price was decrease 10% from i buy,
you should learn from your mistake, do not hold coin that dump 10% from your buy prices, its very high risk

I think both are profitable depending on which area you find yourself. If you know how to trade daily and got some experience then day trading would be a right choice but if you don't know how to trade, the best thing you can do is buy and hold coins with great future, do some research before starting the hodl game else you get burnt like you would if you go into day trading without the knowledge of day trading.

Yes, it really depends on our time availability as not everyone of us can do day trading due to some matters such as you have work, or you have business that you are handling everyday, as day trading requires focus and much time compare to long term hodl which is fit for busy person.

With the altcoins going down like a falling knife, day trading doesn't look profitable anymore. I would definitely prefer long-term holding, but that too only with either Bitcoin or with established altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. Right now I don't think that a recovery may occur for the altcoins anytime soon. At least for the next 6 to 12 months, we can expect them to go down in value. Short selling may be a good option, but those who doing it should be aware of the risks associated with it.

Some found long trading to be better, i don't trade everyday because of loses, sometime the market is just bad and fluctuates a lot but i like trading when bitcoin is bullish, most times i always win

Besides having lots of free time, daily trading also requires skills. not everyone masters the knowledge. Daily trading will be very profitable if we can master it, but if we don't have good trading skills, then we can do long-term trading, and can do other activities. Daily trading psychology is needed because of high fluctuations

if you have the intention for the long term I think you have to analyze it well, it's the same as daily,
if you fail to analyze it in the long time I'm sure you can't feel profit, always use only 20-30% of funds
