The basic concept that I use is
traditional Indonesian cuisine with a some modifications.
The type of culinary that I will introduce is called
Nasi Tumpeng. As you have read, Nasi Tumpeng has several variations. The modifications that i did were mainly on:
Overall Image (as helicopter view) :
Remarks :1. When someone mentions about bitcointalk.org, there are 4 things that automatically pops on my mind:
- Knowledge = A forum that facilitate me to understand about blockchain technology knowledge along with the latest updates on one place.
- Economy : This forum facilitates loan activities and / or buy-sell activities between members. And done transparently.
- Accusation : Sub-board that provides early warning about potential scam projects, cheaters and other fraud activities. This board is very useful for me. From this board, there are many things I can learn.
- Local board : For me, this board is very helpful to know the current issues that are happening and at the same time, this sub-board provide a place to mingle using native language that i usually use in my daily life. Very comfortable
2. These 4 things as mentioned above, are the theme that I applied to this
Nasi Tumpeng (rice cone). Bitcointalk.org (for me) is a Forum that provide a
Knowledge, Economy, Accusation and Local Board.3. Each letter in sentences Bitcointalk.org, Knowledge, Economy, Accusation and Local Boards are made from carrots (as well as the folwers around it) with using fruit carving methods. White flowers found around nasi tumpeng, made of white radish through the carving process also.
4. The main ingredient of Nasi Tumpeng are a combination between
Ketan/sticky rice and
beras/rice (uncooked rice, after cooked name changed to
nasi/white rice). The basic color of sticky rice and rice is white. To get the red color effect, I add carrot juice on the cooking process. The green color is obtained by the addition of
pandanus juice. To get a yellow color, I add
yellow turmeric juice.
5. Before the sticky rice and rice are cooked, in order to get delicious flavors, firstly, the sticky rice must first be soaked for 24 hours.
6. The cooking process of yellow rice, brown rice and green rice each takes around 2 hours.
7. After the rice is cooked. Next, i put the rice in
Tampah. Tampah must be beautified first. Usually i put banana leaves and lettuce before the rice is placed (as seen on first image).
8. Now, Nasi Tumpeng is ready to be photographed.
I hope, Nasi Tumpeng that i present to all of you (as an image ofc), can make you more familiar with Indonesian cuisine (beside
rendang and
satay). When you guys eat at Indonesia Restaurant, please try ordering yellow rice. you will love it.

(
Note : Nasi Tumpeng/kuning is different from nasi lemak)
bon appétitRegards from Indonesia :
