It would have been good if they could be paralyzed for their actions, but it is quite unfortunate that nothing can be done to that, except they and their projects are being defamed, by reducing their reputations to nothing. Most of them are ream scammers, who came with the intension of scamming people, while others are just greedy, most especially those who refuse to pay bounty hunters.

Even after many bounties failed this year some bounty project still brings good rewards, i was a victim of scam bounties and that only enlightened me more and now i choose bounty projects carefully
I think we all almost became victims of fraud from some ICO, or IEO that has been around for a long time. At this time, not too many ICO and IEO has appeared because investors or bounty hunters have been very careful in choosing where to invest.

Besides that, even though this case is still ongoing, I will still look for new projects to support. the only way to avoid fraud is to choose the project carefully because that is the right step to choose from now. because of this, I am still settled with the existing projects and bounties.

In my opinion is rhetorical question that will always stay unanswered. The reason is that nobody wants to integrate regulations into crypto industry and thats why we are coming across such a huge amount of scam projects every day.

This is really bad for bounty hunters when joining a campaign but they will be a scam in the end. This is the reason why some of them are quitting and becoming only a trader or investor.

And we know that most of the campaigns before are scam and their tokens are really worthless and a waste of effort. But because becoming a bounty hunter is good for making money and lucky to find a new project that is good and worth doing the task since they pay much a lot.

You can't remove these scammers from the crypto world, all you can just avoid them! But how do you know which project is a possible scam? You need better knowledge and experience to get that! Just research well before joining any campaign. Don't waste your time by promoting shit, better spend time on research and verification. For example, Liquiditex, Hawk seems a better project, alchemy too. Why? They have good partners, very active team l, live events, catchy whitepaper, big media coverage! But you will not find these Conex bounty.

Nobody can stop it all, maybe it's just a little bit to have it if we all are equally clever when there is a suspicious one.
The scammer makes it all realistically so people believe in their project. To know in order not to get stuck in their scammer just by looking at their team and projects whether real and have offices in a country.
Then analyze the whitepaper, roadmap, etc. to be more detailed about what they make. Many projects mostly use face people and posted on their web it's very scary.

There is a difference between a project that turn scam and a project that failed due to unable to raise softcap, if you promote a project and later turn scam the fault is on you, but if you promote a project that failed to raise funds needed for the developments its not your fault, you need to keep trying and you will eventually promote a good project

There's no way to counter these kind of problem, As we see today it keeps repeated people are not learned by the experience of others thats why its better to move on to avoid stress and until next time it should be more cautious when dealing investment like ICO's or invest instead on IEO's but choose those exchange that has already a trustworthy records.

Theres truly no way to counter or checkmate these projects as long as there's no regulator body that certifies these ICO/IEO projects and proclaim them worthy of investment. Till then, scam projects will keep running wild in the cryptocurrency space. The risk is all left to the investor as its his perogative to duly research on the projects. Maybe we can minimise the risk by choosing to invest in projects running on more reputable exchange platforms.

but there are also successful projects that raise funds but they run and don't pay bounty hunters. even though they have received strong complaints, but they don't care about it. so I guess it depends on the goals of the project team itself.

Yes when they short term goals and running away with investor's money and bounty hunter's effort no one can stop them as they are using vulnerability of decentralization as there as no KYC for the team and still they force bounty hunters to go through it. Now everyone is tired of these bounties and investor's have given up and looking for alternative ways to warn profit like trading and all.

Reading, searching and intuition are my implementations for myself in joining bounties.  It's hard to join in many bounties just select which projects you may think have future, demand and progress. If I have atleast 10% doubt about the project, I won't join.

Just research and think how can only bounty hunters dump the projects, we know investors don't do it. Only scam projects does it , even after coinmarketcap listed. Token sell should finish for top IEO exchange but they hold majority % of token to dump the market. Only you can save your investment by researching partnership and total coin supply..

Thats what we should do when joining in bounties.

Conduct a research and only choose the project that is likely genuine and dont rush joining if you're not really sure.

This can prevent ourselves from participating in not worthy project to advertise.

The problem of phishing takes place everywhere, it is not possible to limit it, there are more and more sophisticated scams. To protect myself and my money, I guess you should equip yourself with the knowledge and experience in this market.

I think the reason why it is called a scam project is because of whitepaper plagiarism and using someone's identity that will be used so that investors believe that the team in the project is real. And also the progress of funds income is usually manipulated to attract attention if their projects are in great demand

Unfortunately there are quite a few scam projects and scam bounty on the market right now. In order to avoid such scam projects, we need to do a pretty good research at first. In particular, I think we should read the whitepaper and definitely investigate the team members of the project. For bounty campaigns, we should also choose a good bounty manager. I believe it is more beneficial to participate in campaigns organized by positive trusted managers. This ways can help us for be away from scam projects/bounties.

There are no scammers if there are no investors that are ready to get scammed. If the investors know which project do they need to invest or not then they will not get scammed.

The best thing to do right now is to just not invest on ANY projects. In this case, no investors will be scammed. It will be hard I think because day by day, projects are emerging and hoping that their project will become successful but still there are projects that are becoming a scam or fail. Still, not investing totally on these projects will be the best way to counter this numerous scams that are happening.
