There is too much scam accusation about them. And I found it suspicious, Deleting Ann thread. etc. Still not revealing CEO and team member's social media they are like anonymous. Don't invest. That will be the best counter because if there will be no investor and all will rely on the established market, I don't think that these scammers will keep on making new projects to scam. Bounty hunters just need to be extra careful when choosing bounty and investing in a project, if they are investors.

Most of scam projects are having a lot of co founders in the whitepaper, but you cannot see them online in telegram of during their AMA, so if you will notice and you will ask this in their group, they will ban you immediately and if you ask them why, they will tell you that you are creating FUD in the group, so at that point, pls ask yourself and think 100 times.

The only countermeasure I can think of is to obtain more knowledge. Having a lot of knowledge will be great help to determine the credibility of one project. You need to be overcritical in choosing where project you want to invest to. Moreover, ICOs are now not like before there's a lot of project failed to reach their cap and even if they did it  listing on exchange platform will be another problem. However, there is an IEO which is much better I think because it is already been partnered with exchanges so there's no need to worry about listing.

The mentioned countermeasures are not enough to protect the investors and bounty hunters, from my own experience. The knowledge without the experience is enough only over the paper and in the real crypto world, the sharks swallow the planktons in the first mistake. Besides the many new projects, the quality of the projects is not heartwarming.

The most realistic measure is the escrow system. A note system can also be introduced in Bounty programs. For Exchange, I think a note from Bitcointalk is important. Could be a compilation. Not just for Bounty. For those who invest in ICO or IEO.

but so far I think the best countermeasure is only from knowledge, maybe at this time the IEO project has more advantages in selecting registered projects, but again these projects must be selected again with research from the knowledge of investors or bounty participants even though there are still potential errors in research which is conducted.

The first thing is for investors or bounty hunters to have crypto knowledge. Without knowledge about how the crypto market works, the are prone to fall prey to scammers. Likewise, bounty managers can also play a significant role in discouraging or curbing scam projects. They know a bit more whether the project they are working for is legit or not. 

There are a number of projects which were legit and completed their target and project but they often do not pay the bounty hunters in this case the managers can do nothing as everything in the project looks legit and the only scam they do is to scam the bounty hunters. The solution of this type of scam is that the community have to boycott from that project and the exchanges also have to not list that type of coins until they pay the bounty hunters.

we can not do so much. but at the point if you as investor exactly you do not invest on it. as bounty hunter you can report their telegram group
then we can analyst with your experience and your knowledge you can analyst the project Reasonable or not. look the roadmap, reach of fund, all their social media and another information you get from your friend

What do you mean cryptocurrency is not  a real product? projects with good intentions are a real thing but those scammed developers are keep hiding from good projects and runaway with investors money, placing bounty hunters to lose their precious time and not being paid after doing their jobs. It's undeniable issue that keeps growing around this industry, a very need of hard research and deeper assessment before engaging to any projects.

I strongly agree with what you say because cryptocurrency is an investment asset that is not entirely real, because, if there is fraud or theft Cryptocurrency will be very difficult for us to track, and can restore the lost crypto assets and of course very little evidence that can we give it if we report the loss of the crypto assets to the police, in contrast to real investment assets such as gold, houses and land.

I could see a lot of suggestions in the forums about a background checks for the ICOs and bounty campaign so that a lot of users in the forums could trust the project. I think this kind of thing could add trust to the project and could help it to gain investors in the forum. I think a lot of investors and done investing in this kind of project since it is a big scam for the past years so they need something to help them regain their trust.

I think this can be resolved if we crypto users that are being bonded by this forum will unite to inform everyone about what we have discovered and observed on a certain newly launched project and we must serve as a group to do background checking and researching about its credibility and reliability in order to maintain a safe space for us bounty hunters to dive in because all of us will surely benefit once we provide a safe space to work with right? Though it is impossible to make that happen, if we will at least try doing such, maybe we can counter those scammers until they leave this forum and for sure investors will surely get back and bring more potential investors making the forum and market more lively again because we somehow clean the space we are into and keep it away from scammers benefiting us all to work in a nice crypto space.

investors can avoid scammers if they want the reason now investors can choose to invest in IEO rather than choosing to invest in ICO. even bounty hunters can choose projects that are potentially successful this year by checking each project before you join. choose projects that have partners from old projects or already populers so you can sort out which projects are scamer or potential projects

This is so easy for new account like Vidy. Although Vidy was legit to investor but they did fixed bounty reward for all hunters. Sero has some problem with distribution. I didn't find good project  with good bounty manager but no payment distribution, although Token pay by jamelezae was different
