Scammers would be always there as long there's money that they could snip on to those newbie investors  that do keep feeding these shits.This is already normal into this market

where newbie investors are really the ones who do feed out these people and this is a continuous process as long money is on circulating and something that can be scammed.

Therefore, the best thing to be done on here is to make yourself knowledgeable on at least lessening out the scam project to be  funded of.

Even research also cannot stop scammers, it just can minimize the number of victims. We must understand that scammers cannot be stopped because they can use various ways to scam people. What we need is to know what familiar ways they are using, or common ways to scam people. We all must learn about it, so we can avoid joining scam projects.

Doing this thing over the years make me realized you can still get scammed even you do something I mention above, shit happens you know..

it is very difficult to stop scammers in the cryptocurrency , all we have to do is avoid them

You know that in the end of the day, they don't care being unethical as long as they are under the radar of whoever they are messing with. Governments, patrols, etc. You mention it.
It is money that they are after. I'd like to just throw it that there are many people willing to do something shady just for money.

It's true that scam projects will always exist and we can only be careful in choosing projects,

The thing you must do is to keep your guard up! make sure that before participating to anything you already done doing your DYOR!

It will prevent you participating of being victimized by those scammers, they will do everything to find victims that's how they work and that's how dedicated they are.

Forget about bounties. Time spent barely pays off. “Good” project no longer use bounties (the kind most user here are used to) for promotion. Instead project focus on running AMAs. Such person-to-person conversation builds a better trust between project and investor. It is easier to understand if it is worth investing from a conversation, instead of reading powerpoint presentation or scrolling through whitepaper.

I made profits by doing bounty projects and lost my valuable times as well as few projects turn into scam later, few middle of campaign period. Scam project is unavoidable, sometimes research can't help you to protect us. Now, I take this things as normal, so I would better go forward.

Yes, it's clear that a project scam is unavoidable because sometimes a project becomes a scam when it's over so the time we give it becomes wasted, but that can't be an excuse to stop working on the bounty campaign because so far there are still correct bounty campaigns -really good and pay.

I have participated in so many bounty campaigns, the selection is still based on who the manager is in favor of it. It is very reasonable that we have been bound along with our time and energy in completing all the tasks that have been specified in the rules of a campaign that we have registered/followed, meaning that after everything is appropriate our schedule is not in vain and we get rewarded even though the distribution is delayed and sometimes changes and decreases.

Currently too many projects including scams, even scam projects can easily get high rankings in the ICO ranking, they can make whitepapers, team compositions, roadmaps, social communities (twitter, telegram, reddit, etc) that look real. It's hard to avoid project scams, but investing small amounts ($1k or less) is what I usually do.

But I told you that we can't kill scam permanentely because every time scammer come in crypto with a new strategy with new plan . so if you want to safe our self from scam the best weapon will be knowledge if you have too knowledge you can't come into the range of scamer.

Face-to-face interaction is a good point to increase trust but the language barrier will sometimes reduce our understanding of the project and in such a quick conversation, our information gathering will be of poor quality and it will be difficult to record the important points, besides, the people answering our questions are highly skilled people or very sophisticated scammers who will mesmerize us with their reliable rhythms and voices. A project running AMA continuously also doesn't give me too much confidence
