In sports betting i do always risk base in their team then i do this in real life because i believe that i have high chance to win in this there

Then in dice i more often bet big after i lose atleast 5 or 10 times straight but i do this sometimes only then if i not experience this like twice or four times lose then i will add a little bet if this happen again in again so this is what i superstitions like i have high chance to win by this

almost everyone uses this method if they lose in a row while playing dice so that they can double the amount of the bet. of course luck will not always be on our side when we can double the stakes, sometimes we will suffer huge losses. therefore I think that every gambling we will do, of course, we need to control emotional control first.

Superstitions in gambling in general I think will be the same or not much different from that point, and I feel superstition in gambling is just like a hope even though we will end up smiling because our superstitions or hopes are wrong or not according to expectations. Maybe it’s only the form of attracting some good thing,and you are right it’s not about bringing us winnings but instead giving us hope that we can win because gambling is very risky and if you don’t know how to deal with this then you will surely lose

This would be a total disaster if you are a lucky man. What if you are having a winning streak of 5-7 days in poker, which is totally possible? It will not only be the other players in your table that will be distracted in their games because of your odor but the whole poker room. Unfortunately, that would be your edge.  

3 days mate, but it was a long game, baccarat table, I will switch from one table to another, and when I get tired, go to my hotel room, eat sleep and then I will go to the casino again.

Don't get me wrong, that was during my height of my addiction, lol, that's why when I think about it, not very good hygienic wise.  . You don't perspire while you are in a casino, because we all know that it is well ventilated and then AC on your hotel room.

There's nothing wrong believing in superstition and I sometimes follow what I believe can make me lucky if I gamble. What I usually do before playing is to check my daily reading in horoscope, I consider the lucky colors, numbers as my lucky charm. If it state that its not good to go outside or have an activity I follow it because sometimes its really happening. But again, its just a funny routine before doing something so I dont know if it has basis to believe in or a superstition.

Perfume has something to do with your emotion whenever you are gambling, it's my superstitions that I should put a strong scent whenever I gamble, sometimes it's right sometimes it's not, but when the average of winning to losing is much higher you can attributed it to what you are doing that brings you luck and so in my case it's putting perfume, and besides I feel good with my perfume even if I lost a roll.

Yes, nothing will be wrong when we are believing in to anything because we are the only people going to face the consequences for believing them. I mean to say we are believing in to superstition so that we need to face the consequences of following those superstition. I believe most of the gamblers are also following superstition because gambling is just a luck based one so that we will ensure that we will be having the maximum luck on our side so we do call our belief in the name of superstition. Yes, superstition helps a gambler to be feeling like more confident about their next move while gambling.

I'm not sure that being confident by gambling will be a good thing or bad thing but it will help to maximize our luck factor because when you are confident your luck will come in your way at most of the times. This could be a coincidence like people so say "luck favors the brave".

Now that totally makes sense. I do not get from where do people get the idea of making money from gambling. Like you said, it is game of chances. It totally depends on luck and there are chance that house manipulates results. In both cases, the odds are against the player. I think it is best to not play this game at all but still if someone likes, then he should play in limits for his own safety.

Let me preface this by stating the following
When betting on Bustabit for example, I know :

• It's 100% provably fair and can't be manipulated
• Each round is independent of the adjacent ones, no previous results dictate the next
• There's no math to keep the 1.975x average in place, if it's 10 games under 1.5x in a row, this doesn't change the likely-hood of the next being over 2x

That being said, I think it's fun to humor myself and entertaining to play into superstitions.
i.e if it's 10 red in a row, I'm usually more likely to increase my bets as the gamblers fallacy plays out, although I'm completely aware of the math behind it.

I think superstitions are fun to have and entertaining to laugh about, it makes it more interesting.
Some gamblers treat them in a serious way, however I think that's the wrong approach to superstition when gambling overall.

Being provably fair doesn't mean it can be manipulated and each round is independent from the previous one. It just mean the house can't cheat you by changing the outcome according to your bet. Provably fair just mean the house provide the result before your bet and can't change it. Moreover computer are bad for randomness.
BTW be careful of the gambling fallacy, it's a superstition itself.

I have some superstition beliefs as well although am atheist and also know how gambling isn't really affected by past rolls lmao. It's all the same for me along with that I try to sit at a certain angle, play at a certain time of the day, eat something particular before gambling. Superstitious beliefs doesn't affect whether you are an atheist or theist. Thus, you only don't believe in God/goddesses so it is out of the question. It is normal to have some superstitious beliefs if that's how your parents raised you. And I think every gamblers have their own superstition when playing and also I think it is not just applicable in gambling but also in real life e.g. status, love life, etc.

From the reason they are observing in real life like what are the they have actually found after following superstition, they would have come for the conclusion to follow same kind of superstition in gambling too. This is how a habit is come into practice and I believe it will be applicable even for why people are following superstition.

I agree. Although I kinda believe how my actions might impact a totally independent variable (through my superstition beliefs) is naive lol. When I question so hard for the existence of universe asking reasons for it. I guess it's like music, to each their own.

Well, if you are fond of entertainment you will forget that you are a very superstitious person before.

And I think having a superstitious beliefs is just like making a speculative result. Thus, the saying that says "trading is just like gambling" because we are making a speculation based on the previous results.

We all have our own superstition, it will not do harm if we have one from all our actions, it is part of our belief that powerful hands are behind  on all the things that we do, these superstitions sometimes has an impact on the mind of the believer, mine is a mantra I will always believe that I will win and sometimes wearing a specific color can help its part of our lives and these superstitions have been to us from generation.

Actually superstition beliefs harm us lol. Like, as we perform those actions, we kind of acquire a false sense of security that we will win. And it makes us vulnerable and we are destined to lose more because we don't play with caution rather play without risk.

Probably you gamble just for fun and are not using it as a mainstream source of money so these things do not bother you. But for those who are investing really good money in gambling, they are really conscious about superstitious signs when they are gambling. Gambling is a fun game and I believe everyone shall treat it like that instead of putting all energies into it. Just gamble with small money.

I guess maybe I was doing it sometimes lol. but it is just for fun, Sometimes on dice, I was placing my lucky number or birthday number or any related number to me on prediction number and roll the dice sometimes I won sometimes not. It really does not change the odds but it is fun winning with your favorite numbers.
