If bounty hunters know that a certain project is fake or scam they won't dare promote the project, the problem here is many bounty hunters are too lazy to do their own research on bounty projects before promoting, most do have jobs and make up their mind that it's a good project
Actually, my experience is quite different. When I actually used to have Telegram and Facebook, people would be messaging me their ref links and promising me it's still early to join. They would even say they know when to exit, so if we follow and invest NOW we can exit before it dumps. What's this tell you? They know exactly it's a scam, and just want their rewards before the scam falls down. Why else would they dump at the earliest opportunity?

You can always see to their project itself how their system work you can try to look at their whitepaper and see how detailed it is and from that you will easily spot if there's some fraudulent things running to their project, second thing is their website usually on their website you can see all the information listed on it such as their team member, road map, contact information and legality of the project such as licences and legal documents.
You can check them one by one and their team members sometimes most of the fraud projects doesn't show their faces off the public and also you can also see that there's no legal documentation they have on their website as well as their poor website interface.
if you encounter some of this then you should be careful and do more further research about the project.

Their whitepaper will tell us all the details that we want and we need, it is not easy to catch scammers by only reading this one, you may check the profiles of the team members as well, better to suggest them for a AMA so that you may see if the faces that are being put in the website is true, but then, if the projects is only created for scam we dont have any solution for that because I have known a project before and now it is a trash.

It is very hard to stop all fraudulent project in the crypto space, there is too many of them and some them are in disguised of having a good developments and hardworking team. We never knew at first when it is a scam or not but this is my tip. If you see some redflags on the project along the way then stop promoting it then move on. There is too many projects out there clearly focused on the developments.

Better we should stop seeking for a good ICO/IEO for now, maybe it would be best and better if we will just let them launch on their own fund and let's see what they will give and how much potential they could be in the future, for now I stopped investing, I prefer supporting self funded project.

There are a lot of way's to avoid those projects. first, learn to be afraid to take a huge risk to invest in many projects or any of this projects now or learn something that you didn't know about fraudulent one's. if you are aware of this and you don't want to take a risk for investing then you can avoid any losses on this scammers. they didn't victimized you because your a wise investor.

I think that they will not try to do that. If the investors have made there must be an MVP that already created by the project and the scammer will give up to do this caused by they will never try to create an MVP use their own money and that never happens before

I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. . I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media). maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.
so what do you think? I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.
Scammers and scam projects is main problem in cryptoworld,It will take a long time to stop the scammers but can minimize on immediate basis.Actually its a responsbility of all crypto community members to highlight the scams and if find share with circle that maximum people avoid it. There should be seminars, get to gathers to create awareness about the crypto scams,Specially ICO projects badly affected due to some scammers. If a legit company came with new project must create awareness to the people through social media and arrange seminars that avoid the scams and if anyone who try to scam with you must report,These kind of efforts will bring positive results.

to be honest in my opinion avoiding fraudulent projects is very difficult. although we have thoroughly researched the road map, whitepapaer and also the team and its managers. sometimes we also remain deceived because fraudsters always have new ways to cheat and are smart at making projects look good. so I think cryptocurrency prone to scammers is a risk we must accept when investing and working in cryptocurrency.
I disagree, avoiding scams projects is really easy, do not invest in icos or ieos, do not invest in coins with less than two years in the market and do not invest in coins outside the top 20, if you do that then you are protecting yourself of almost all the scam coins in the market, you are going to miss some opportunities to make money but that is better than to lose your money, you need to forget about what other traders are making and concentrate only on the money that you can make with your skills.

it's true that there are a lot of project frauds and scams, but we can avoid that. quite a lot of people also support project scams and fraud, but that's not because they don't know what they're investing, but because basically, the CEO of the project has intended to deceive investors. However, now investors are very careful in investing, starting from seeing information about the project, even looking at the place of sale of the token in question, such as IEO in a popular place. it's just that we can't avoid it when the CEO really intends to deceive us all. however, we can reduce that risk by being careful. this is indeed a pretty risky investment.

Most people don't do research anymore, for many, what matters is the numbers on the thread. If a topic is lucrative enough for an average member of this forum, they will definitely dive in right away. With research, it is very easy to spot a legit project. For example: This is an image I originally took for a different topic where the original poster was asking whether the project is legit or not. As you can obviously see from the image that the so-called "project" is offering 350% returns on your investment, even more so if you refer your friends to the project. This is statistically impossible. And this whole research took me just 10 seconds, that is it. 10 seconds and I was able to find this specific part on their website. TL;DR: Research like a normal person instead of losing your minds over promised hard $krilla ca$h whatever. Researching and doing a background check on a project and dev might help to an extent but will not totally tell you if the project will be a scam. I have witnessed on many occasions whereby a full research project turns to scam. What I have concluded in my findings is that some projects are not created with the intention to scam investors but lack of proper management and dispute between team might kill the project and one's the investor's money is not returned, the project turn to scam. Another way of a scam, which is very common this day is the advanced scam in which dev get token listed on the exchange and they keep dumping by selling off their own allocated token thereby killing the token price. Some of them will give a signal about a piece of planned news that investors believe that might pump the price in order to keep selling off their own token when investors run to the token on the exchange. This is the primary reason why you see some token rising more than 100% at this hard time

promoters often dont care with what they promote, even when the project is a shit they still dont care maybe, they have principal "nothing to lose", so they just do it actually, they already lose their energy and time. but they dont realize it IMO, investors have to be smarter as time goes by, what makes project alives is investor if there is no investor, then no project too, including shit project dont worry, the space is going to there. investors has already become smarter, look at shit project now, it is reducing!

In my opinion, lack of knowledge about what you are doing makes you vulnerable to frauds. As long as they see you as a dumb investor who knows not that much, they will take advantage and hit you on your weak points to inflict scam projects. To evade such worthless projects, you need to make sure that you are reading everything and checking the team if it would be worth to trust and to exert effort and time. Be smart and wise with your decision and also be patient to avoid frauds.

Sorry, you should remember that we are quite alone in the crypto world, even if we try to accumulate more knowledge, one of our brains cannot compare with the brains of many people, especially for scammers who have too many skills to distract our analysis, scam projects have become more perfect and make it harder for us to identify and avoid them. Instead of trying to show off our skills and face scammers, I prefer we invest in listed projects, there is no need to worry about scams and just focus on observing the trend and destination the market will go on

fraudulent projects are becoming more and more difficult to detect, so I only invest in projects through ieo because when participating in ieo, exchanges always verify the project well before ieo on Their exchange, I can suggest just joining ieo on binance, okex, kucoin. My way is very sure. But good opportunities are often not obvious. The choice is yours

There are several scam projects that run the development first so that investors believe that the project is not a scam, but after all the development is almost complete the project is dead or even a scam.

There are no special strategies to avoid fraudulent projects.
for me, i believe in doing things the way they are supposed to be done, that way you avoid all fraudulent projects.
Before investing short or long term for a project: DYOR before joining any bounty at all: dyor Before joining ieos, stos, icos, etc : dyor
While hodling tokens, altcoins, : dyor.
Then finally, always stay in profit.

No matter how vigilant we are in our crypto dealings, scammers will always find a way to deceive people, and they are getting more sophisticated at that. So it is important that we do our own research before investing in a project and not only rely on the advice of any crypto reviewer on social media. Self-education is still the best way to counter scam project.

to find a fraud project is very difficult in my opinion because intelligent fraudsters will be able to fool smart people. thus making it difficult for us to distinguish between fraudulent projects and real projects. Bounty managers who have managed many bounties have also run fraud projects. that is because of the difficulty of distinguishing true and false projects.
