Bitcointalk does not have official logo,right? It's a good time now to make one.

We have the 10th anniversary art competition running and it's great. People already took the pencils, brushes and crayons out but why don't we make the same competition and finally get our logo, because as far as I know we do not have an official one.
It will be a great 10th anniversary gift.

Well, I love the standard 2nd version of Bitcoin logo from 2010 and I came up with this idea, beat me to it as well to whoever will pass their bitcointalk logo idea.

A professional logo would indeed be good, and I've seen good logos designed on the Services board.
Maybe [FREE/PAID] Uao's community graphic design services can come up with something?

As far as I know this is the official logo.

Regardless if this is the forum's actual logo or simply just the forum's Favicon, I'd say this should be the logo even if we already move to the new Epochtalk forum. The logo might be very dated compared to today's modern logos, this is the logo that we've been seeing on our Bitcointalk browser tab as far as we can remember.

It has been more than 5 year that I have taken my hands off from photoshop, illustrator and corel draw, idk why cause at some point I was insanely active on using them but now they seem very boring for me.
I think something like this will be great, something like call attached to word B logo. (Bitcoin''s logo maybe)? See attached image down below.
Also will be interesting if someone makes Fiverr challange for bitcointalk logo, there are some amazing graphics designers on fiverr (but it may cost much).
I think logo contest on forum will be great option.

I like it, but I think (in my opinion) the orange color should be adjusted to cool down a little bit. The current orange color is too bright. For such a very classic forum, which solely based on text, I think too bright colors are not fitted.

Temporarily, I used it as my avatar, but please let me know if you actually edit that avatar.

The second one, sure. I still think a bit lighter is better. Something like a half level of the current colors (for orange and grey, too).

The idea just sort of popped into my head so I had to create it... not sure if the forum really needs an official logo or not but I'll throw this out there anyway since I'm in image creation mode right now!

I want to ask, where such logo would be used? As I understand we aren't talking about favicon. I hardly can imagine that theymos would put logo somewhere on the header of website. And I wouldn't want it, because I prefer minimalistic style. So, where else logo can be used. Only thing which comes to my head is news and social media. But don't understand me wrong, I'm not against having official Bitcointalk logo.
P.S. @iasenko, please bring back your old avatar! Maybe it looks creepy for some forum members, but I think you lost your identity without it .

Logo for bitcointalk can be used as some kind of brand, image that should represent bitcointalk forum.
I think that logo Satoshi created was intended to be Bitcoin logo.
Working around that idea would be nice to honor Satoshi and celebrate 10th aniversery here

Bitcoin doesn't have an official logo but the current logo that people use for bitcoin is good and even the logo's people are submitting here is similar to it.
