Who will be rewarded? If you are active on the friday and the contract with your counterparty goes successfully you will be rewarded 0.009 btc.

Comb buyer needs to provide their COMB address. It is uppercase and has digits and letters A-F. Please click wallet - key generate to create your address and then fully save your wallet to a file from the main page.

Comb seller needs to provide both COMB address (for return in case of unsuccessful trade) and their <insert coin name here> address that will be used to receive the offered coin during the trade.

Thank you for the interest all of you. The event will happen in 3 stages.

Stage 1: Everyone will post their own comb address. based on this we will calculate the contracts. Kelozar or the sellers (in general) will fund the comb trade contracts.


Stage 2: Once the transaction confirms (should take 7 blocks) we will make sure that the COMB tokens are in the contracts. Once this is proven people can send their coins (btc, nano) to sellers.


Stage 3: we will be watching the chain and nano dag to see who paid for the contract. Then I will sign the decider that will make the contracts decided in the forward (comb to the buyer) or rollback (comb back to the seller) direction.

Finally: when the decider confirms people can already withdraw the comb from the contract. The same information that was originally used to calculate the contract will be required. Another thing people gonna need to see their comb will be coin history file and up to date commits.db file (both will be posted)

Quick update.

Got details from natasha that I would need to have 3 comb (for the 3 potential buyers) on 1 key and would need to do 21 tx's on chain in that case.
Either way there is cost involved on my end.
Now additional to this my claim cost, and finally seeing how the mempool is more active these days.
Assuming fees on btc will continue to increase with mempool activity increasing, with the coming bullmarket in the future. Cost of claiming comb has gone up considerably.

Also I have not heard from natasha about the reward for this test. So I am taking this out of the equation for my calculations at the moment.

I will honor the 1 Nano tx because it was suggested by natasha, also to help test cross platform trades.

For the rest I would prefer BTC for now, I believe a fair price would be at a minimum 50k Satoshi per comb. (My belief is that cost to claim would be much higher and with a lower chance of success currently)

I will have to generate a new wallet address then for the comb contract.  If I am understanding this correctly, this system works through an intermediate similar to an Escrow, who approves the transfer when the conditions have been met?  Or can this system automatically perform the swap based on conditional variables being met, such as in the case of a smart contract?  It would be very novel for a crypto agnostic dex if the latter is the case, and I could foresee a very real future for Haircomb if I am understanding it correctly.

Yes it might be .0045 for each. or might just be .009 spread for all members.
Either way wanted to keep it out of my calculation since didn't get a direct answer and would still be willing to help test even if there was no reward.
Though if it was truly even .0045 for me on every member then it wouldn't matter what the buyers offer since it would pretty much cover all costs on my end, and we can potentially test out many crypto chains all in the first trade together.
