Has alt season started?

Do you believe that it has started? I have a good feeling that I should buy them before winter. Prove me wrong.

I cant feel yet if the altcoins are started, But if that happen maybe we should need to hold or buy some altcoins from the market. And we need to choose those altcoins are trusted and have future to increase the price. Because as of now their are lots of altcoins are spreading in any maket and become a shitcoins in no time. If we have on that kind of coins must better to remove it early to sell if that have price, It is wasted our time if we hold it for a long time.

Having a 4 days of green market i can't speculate that alt season has started. It happens all coins were following the increase of bitcoin because of a good news of China carries a lot of hype. I don't see any proper demand and supply which they have reason to pull the trigger into alt season.

The altcoin season does not mean that the market will be in the green for a limited period of time, if you could check the past graphs then you will have an idea what the altcoin season means, there are no signs of recovery in the near future but everyone is expecting the market to rally after the bitcoin halving  and usually in the past we usually see that the altcoin season starts after the bitcoin rally.

I won't say it alt season, just yet.
We don't really see a really significant price for alt for the past year, if I remember that one correctly.
Even with bitcoin bullish trend, alts follows just a bit, it's really hard nowadays for alts to have a stable price.
Still, I might be wrong, but, it doens't hurt to never let your guard down only because you've seen a "green" on the markets.

Altcoins are usually just coins that help you to make a profit and very few coins can bring you long-term profits during this time. I think if you have decided to invest then think many times because the fact that altcoin depends very much on the rise of Bitcoin. Today altcoin has recovered slightly but in the next few days we can not predict what will happen next so it is best to be patient and wait a few more months.

I personally am very worried about the volatility of this market because the value of all coins can be easily manipulated if the investor holds a lot of BTC.

we should talk about china's alts season. You see, when bitcoin increased by nearly 30%, the other alts only increased by about 7% - 10%. Particularly for the alts of China such as ONT, BTT, TRX, NEO have increased very strongly about 30% - 50%.
This shows that the Chinese government is really making a positive move on crypto. And this is an opportunity to buy more Chinese alts.

crypto is very difficult to guess, if you want to collect some coins I suggest first look at market conditions and good news, bad news from altcoin that you will buy, because altcoin is not yet stable, easy to free fall down I suggest caution.

For my own opinion it is a miniature alt season. we can say that it is the real alt season if when altcoins jumps as high as 200% percentage like what happens way back 2017.
Wether it is alt season or not its better to make profit than anythingelse.

How do you know that is not real bullmarket? A lot of altcoins have started grow. May be this is the beginning of bullmarket. Who knows... We will see in next wollowing weeks I think.

We are in September 2016. Many altcoins are going to have "almost" no big movement before the next Bitcoin ATH, in March 2017. The current situation is comparable for me. Bitcoin has just made a bearish fake, and it will go up to reach a new ATH in the first quarter of 2020. There are a few weeks, a few months before the altcoins explode. By then, normally, it would be better to stay in BTC and buy altcoins at a good price (especially the lowcap i think). In a few months, it will be too late. Opportunity to buy Chinese alts and shitcoins at 50-70% premium? Not a chance. I wouldn't want to be caught in the middle and end up catching knives. The best way to trade these kinda moves is to get on the trend early because sooner or later the pump would lose steam and everyone will resume their prime focus on Bitcoin again. I might be wrong too, chinese alts might make more moves. But then, it's not always advisable to chase pumps.

No , there is no alt season for this year. My personal thoughts are that we gonna see an alt season only in 2021 when the bull run in bitcoin will be kinda over we will see some massive rise among altcoins. For now , altcoins are just recovering from what they've lost during this bitcoin dip as I don't see any good altcoins going over the price they had in September or August/July. The good thing is that we still have a lot of time to accumulate and hodl! Also a reminder not to fall for shillers for are promoting some altcoins...make your own decisions based on your own researches.

No man,even if you see ETH and others top level altcoin they are still lower.Also most of the altcoin price is lower than the ICO price..price down 80%-90% than ICO price.I don’t think altcoins price will be up as we saw in 2017.but there is hope that altcoin can recovered.But It's really hard to recover 100% price.

if see the market, compared green and red, so the red is more than green. it wouldnt indicate that altseason has begun
altseason means that altcoing is growing up continously, simultaneously, and ofc increase its market capitalization

That means red is more dominant than green right now, so it perfectly not showing any altcoins season. It went so unpredictable to see it going to happen further, because it has no proper demand compared to what's happening with btc lately. We're seeing bitcoin built up a progressive market but that was opposite with what's happening to altcoins.

we saw yesterday when bitcoin pump almost 40%, most of altcoins dump so hard, when bitcoin stable, altcoin is strating to go pump

the pattern is often like that, just a few of altcoins can do opposite that pattern

No, I will not start proving that you are wrong. The last week of October pleasantly surprised all of us. I start to suspect that this situation resembles the market of 2017. It was almost the same picture as with the cryptocurrencies on the market at that time. Probably, I will invest more in Bitcoin, when I get a monthly salary, but alts must be  also bought, especially Eidoo and Ethereum.

   Alt-season that we expect to happen hasn't started yet. This is a minor increase,
it's refreshing for a change to see the prices rising, but we will not see the price
rising to the previous all times high prices.
   SheriffEl is right about one thing, it's good to buy before the winter. With that part I
agree. I will buy more Bitcoins and alt-coins from my salary in next two months, like
I always do, I can just hope before some significant rise.

Altcoin doesn't need a stable condition to get the bullish season and it looks like the bull season for altcoin has already started again. Ethereum and almost all of the coins are getting a huge increase by the way. We will see the next big bullish trend for altcoin in a short time. I have no doubt about that.

cant predict exactly when the altseason starts, but it sure did not start yet.
