I think that discipline in gambling must, when we talk about discipline, it means that there must be restrictions or rules that must be obeyed to achieve discipline. In the gambling discipline we must make rules for the gambling that we do and we must obey the rules, why do we have to obey those rules? so that in gambling we are not carried away by greed and emotions.

Very helpful. sometimes if we are not disciplined, we will make a loss. the main thing that makes it happen is our greed to get a big win so that sometimes we are not concerned with plans that are made for gambling. but if someone comes in just a game, in my opinion it will not be mandatory if he is disciplined or not

If that is only disciplined, I don't think that will work because we need more than discipline in the gambling games. We need to control ourselves and control our greed too because, in gambling, we cannot win many times. If we can win, that is because we have luck in that game, so it helps us to win some money. Discipline and controlling ourselves will give the best way to prevent the loss, and maybe we can have fun in the game.

Discipline is a must because that will make you safe when you are gambling, with discipline, you will not be greedy and you will be able to accept loses easily and that will make you limit your money risk as well that you will only based on what you can afford to lose.

1. You need to persistent, but trust me eventually if you gamble regularly you won't be able to do so.
2. Probably have someone control your funds.
3. Nope. In fact it makes you more weak and you end up chasing loss.

Discipline in gambling takes time, it is not something you impose to yourself and overnight you can discipline yourself, I have seen people who are very discipline in some areas of their lives but failed miserably when it comes to gambling.
You can cultivate discipline when you are gambling with an experienced and highly discipline gambler, from there you can see how he managed to control his emotion and the ability to stop when the time to stop comes, it's not recommended to gamble alone, you will end up losing your control.

There are different type of gamblers so all of your question would be answered differently .
But for me Discipline would be great even in gambling knowing how much you could play and how long you would play would make some difference.
For me a great gambler should know when to quit and when to be greedy.

Having a self control does not mean you are better at gambling, you can have losses but have discipline in yourself.  Putting less money will eventually run out of enjoyment.  Remember the law of diminishing return.  Satisfaction is getting less and less each time you wager the same amount of money.   And if you want your adrenaline to pump up, make an all in bet.

Discipline yourself in terms of frequency of betting and the budget you set to play. Making gambling a everyday leisure activity can lead to not only addiction but heavy financial crisis. With respect to budget, limit your buy in and the amount you set to play. Also, stay away from using credit card !

Strong discipline on ones self. You can actually do it if you wanted to.
Doesnt need for you to wait up for lossing too much for you to learn.
Discipline is crucial because this do handle  out both your funds and your emotions.

To some extent, yes disciple do help to maintain the rhythm in the gambling but again the success in gambling is only dependent upon luck. Suppose i am very discipline and come to play gambling with all the precautions in mind, play with limited amount and lose in the end. Having discipline in gambling will help you to prevent huge losses and help you not to get greedy and addicted in gambling. We all know that gambling is really entertaining, especially when you are experiencing a winning streak, so that will be the time that you should control yourself and have discipline to stop playing because when you experienced losing in the game after that winning streak, you will bet many times until you are all out.

That is very useful to our selves and we should apply "discipline" in order to manage our selves from possible bad consequences that may happen. Gamblers didn't have this will might turn to addiction, having a miserable life and might lost everything that you had. I can't imagine that miserable life comes on if without the discipline to our selves. But in discipline, you know how to gamble that you can afford to lose not just by chasing money.

I feel discipline is important while gambling. Discipline in sense of your budget, your frequency of playing and your moves at critical situations. I have seen few people succumb to excitement, make wrong moves and lose everything on the table. Also, setting timely budget to play is a good practice and prevent using credit cards.
