I offer you some solutions to this problem.

Update Generic USB Hub Drive

1)Go to the Start Menu and search ‘RUN’.
2) Type ‘devmgmt.msc’ on the “RUN” Programmer and click OK
3) Expand the Universal serial bus controller, right-click on the USB hub device and click on the Update driver software.
4) on the ‘Browse my computer for Driver Software’
5) Click on the ‘Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer‘
6) You will able to see ‘Generic USB Hub’ as a model, select it and click the next button.
7) After that, you will see installing drivers.
Cool Redo this process for other ‘Generic USB Hub drivers‘

If you don't get any results from this solution, here are some more solutions

You have not showed us what error message you got ? Also have you done the basic trouble shooting steps which includes

-to check the usb on some other system to see if the issue is with the usb itself
-try to change the usb port and see if it works
-last but not the least, restarting the system

I think your USB device Windows 10 will not support it on your computer. That is why such problems occur You can also uninstall the existing one and install it again And try to restart.

I had also a problem with USB device. I reinstalled the drivers and now everything is ok!
Yeah, uninstalling and restarting the PC will do for this matter.

But if that doesn't work again, the problem lies not with the OS but with the motherboard itself. I've encountered this problem when I've fixed my friend's PC and the past technician that fixed his PC plugged the cable of USB to the wrong socket in the motherboard.

Try going to Device Manager, under USB try to find the device you're referring to. It my even have a yellow icon as an error. Right click and uninstall, and then plug the USB device back in.

You should check the drivers of your computer.
I had the same problem as you described. I updated my drivers and the USB device was recognized by my computer.
