We ought to have learnt our lessons from the Ponzi schemes that are disguised like real investments. Several of them have trooped into the internet and a lot of people fell for them. They are still very much around, but only the gullible fall for them. There are even cryptocurrency projects that promise huge ROI which are not feasible, they too are pyramid schemes.

The analogy is like you enter a forest without any preparation, don't know the terrain, even the map or compass doesn't have any. rely on luck? what's the percentage?
It is better to prepare all the needs, understand the terrain, and the things needed to survive before deciding to enter the "forest". Is not it?

The problem is that there are people who easily fall for this kind of trap, gullible enough not to think logically and then bitch around when they became a victim of those HYIP and Ponzi's. I mean its already 2019, crypto enthusiast should have learn from their mistakes. But then again, when greed or when they think that there's a way to create easy money by joining HYIP and Ponzi, but they are totally wrong and they would only understand it when they became a victim already.

I care less about careless people, entering the world of cryptocurrency just because of hysteria, without any qualified knowledge about the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Then when trapped losses, scams, etc. can only be blamed. See? each decision is the responsibility of each, so study well in order to exist .

There is no need to put blame on anyone. Rather, they should be thought on what to do or how to correct their mistakes, so that they do not repeat the same thing. They got convinced in their ignorance. Had it been they knew the right thing to do, they would have done it.

I also don't see any positive outcomes if people keep blaming themselves for their failures instead of moving-on and learn from their past mistakes. People just need to be more careful whenever they transact on the internet especially on crypto-space because its been a tool for people who have bad intention to find their new victims.

The idea of making money in a short period of time is what forces people to try out anything that attracts them with huge benefits and with bitcoin everyone knows how the initial investors made a fortune and everyone is trying to replicate with all the shit coins and the scams in the market thinking they can make that money with those shitty schemes and they are getting scammed their ass off and still they are not learning is their mistake as there are many warning regarding those and yet if they cannot understand those traps it is their choice.

We can't force these innocent people to refrain themselves having involvement on different schemes that could fall them to scam traps. Indeed, that's their choice and preference and their own money. We're just providing them an advanced mindset to which benefit them, from being aware of several types of fraudulent projects which isn't worthy to invest with.

directly jump in into the waters without even knowing or having second thoughts about legitimacy.They would only discover it out when its already too late.

in crypto the mindset becomes important, because if they have a low standard of mindset they must raise their mindset with their respective methods that can be learned. the purpose is to prepare before investing or trading in crypto, because they can only manage your funds.

Why would a person blame others for their own mistakes? Well its easier to blame others then to take responsibility for your actions! People are afraid to admit they were wrong about something, cause others will look them differently.

You are absolutely right. People are actually scammed by their greed. Scam projects always make appetizing promotions and those who believe in it are mostly inexperienced. When this inexperience is combined with greed, the result is usually loss. However, they should not think about how I can make a profit, but how not to lose my investment. At that case, the result is completely different.

Just because Cryptocurrencies are decentralized mediums of payments doesn't mean one can't get scammed if due diligence or adequate research is not done. People who fall victim to this are those who are usually chasing get rich quick schemes. For the fact that crypto is decentralized, there's no one to be blamed more than the victim. Why would you submit your details to a phishing website? or who would you blame for not adding 2FA or a strong password to your Exchange or wallet accounts? There you have it.

Each person who fell into the clutches of fraudsters or simply was deceived on the Internet himself went for it voluntarily, it was his choice, so be it.

Sometimes it all depends on the initial notion people get about crypto investment, so it's not really cool putting the blame of them entirely. For instance, if I know nothing about crypto and a close pal who doesn't trade or do bounties/airdrops but only invest in HYIP gives me the orientation that he is into crypto and it's all about the HYIP schemes. If I see it as an opportunity and follow his path, then get scammed (which is a must for HYIP),  you don't entirely put the blame on me since I knew nothing about crypto and got the wrong orientation. The only way you can blame such person is because he didn't do proper findings and relied on Information gotten from his friend into HYIP scams.

When I was new in the investment sector, I felt too much confused about HYIP, Pyramid scheme, ads clicking money earning ways! I invested in many HYIP projects and most of the time I got scammed! especially greed is a factor that people get caught up in unclear projects. basically the scammer project gives a big lure, so it can capture the victims. laziness and lack of knowledge can also be victims of deception in the crypto world, and even if possible outside of crypto as well.

my suggestion to be active in a community, it's better if in your area you have a community. and always update the news everyday, to minimize the next koraban by scammers.

actually it is difficult plus it's a bit boring, not infrequently many people get scam, but atleast you will learn how to choose good project but it not accurate 100% you still can be get scamed even the display of project is promising, but its ok atleast you increase your chance from not being scamed.

You are right, this is a common mistakes. HYIP is very eye catchy with those high returns I admit I  joined and was a victim too from few HYIP websites and I was the one to blame for being naive and lack of knowlegde but I move on and learned from those mistakes. I discourage everyone to join it but if you still wants try in your own risk.

It's an unwritten rules to never invest into something fishy like Ponzi or even HYIP. Even there's saying that if it's too good to be true then get away from it.
Some people are just easily taken over by their greedines thinking that they will get some profit out of thin air while in reality is that their money is gonna be the one will be gone.
There should be some warning in every crypto wallet not to join ponzi or HYIP to help such people from being scammed I guess.

Indeed. They're just using it to benefit from what they know and what others don't. Humans are becoming more evil. Using their knowledge in a not proper way just for their own good. That sucks but we cannot change nor do anything about it. That's why, we, as an individual must teach people we personally know, what we know for them not to be the next victim of scammers. Humans are also the one who can stop humans. Internet and technology are just our armors and weapon and we are the one deciding whether to use it for good and evilness.

Yeah, they are to be blamed if they get scammed to some extent. It is really sad they can't see whats real and whats fake. Well, greed is what that makes them blind. They see offers that are too tempting, that are too good to be true, but they don't seem to think twice, jump into the trap and then starts to cry. But, they do learn something out of it. At least they become more careful next time before trying out anything new.
