The idea is promising, and I think if it is brought to the industrial level it will be very popular. But on the other hand, a power plant is an overwhelming cost, you need a staff of power engineers, and you also need to hang up mining equipment on them, for some reason.

whats Karvuon’s Industrial Park? a power plant with a capacity of 200 MW and an annual energy generation of 1 752 000 MWh and solar and wind farms with a capacity of 100MW with an annual energy generation of 876 000 MWh. |

Just keep in mind that with the great potential of the terrain for the construction of hydropower plants, it is technically impossible to technically implement such a project. In some cases, a sheepskin will not be worth the dressing. I’ve been studying this topic for a long time (power engineer by occupation), in world practice there are already underwater hydro generators that can be lowered into the water stream and fixed. The cable along the cable is brought ashore, where the stabilizer control cabinet stands. But they are expensive in price and probably in operation. So, do you think, this type of energy plants have no chance to succeed in Mongolia? |

Well, for now at least 95% of Mongolian energy comes from coal, so diversification is very important for this country.
