Actually on the first place you must have an enough funds in order for you to return or buyback in the game so that you may be able too get again the money that you've been lose. To be honest it is very hard to stop a gambler who is keep on losing especially if they are triggered to get back again their winnings and this is greediness so what we need to do is to control our emotions and don't let this emotions get over on us.

No question about that, it's natural to anyone, trying to recover back your losses, you become more aggressive you begin to go  out of control, greediness most of the time is the reason behind or some are also lack of self control instead of enjoying it turned against you, stopping someone who are suffering to this kind of situation is unappropriate.

That is normal if we thought it's easy to win in gambling games because it looks simple and easy to win. But we never think that by playing that simple game, we can get drag too deep into gambling, and that will be the sign to us to become addicted to gambling. When we win that game, we become greedy and want more winning, which happens to most gamblers. But having control and reminds us of other people around us will prevent us from becoming addicting to gambling. We can warn other people not to lose their money too much in gambling because that is not worth it. But if they do not want to listen to us, we do not have to force them to follow us.

When winning big seems not the case for some loss because the hunger of getting some big wins will cause the bettor to spend all of the money he has and when it all finished up, he will think of some way on how to get his money back and at the same time how to get those big winning like the other people. I think the winning when one is new is totally a perspective issue rather than reality, because when we are new, we didn't have a hell lot of debts, a big hole in our finances and money that we wanna recover, so any win automatically psychologically makes us think a big win, but as we progress then we become aware of the addiction and how it had cost us so much than we expected and then if fortunate we leave the addiction completely and become free from its clutches recovering slowly the money in a good way

It would be very nice if the people we give advice can listen to our words. From my experience, there are some gamblers who don't want to listen to advice from others (even those closest to them). Usually, when they have won, they will feel puffed up and feel they will get the win continuously, so even though we have repeatedly given the advice to quit, they will not pay attention (for them it is not worth listening to).

They don't realize, those wins have become addictive and if they remain trapped in the obsessions then all they have won will vanish. Usually, such people like this will only realize when it runs out of everything.

I have series of them in my list that i have helped while they keep on losing, the most recent was a close associate who's seriously addicted into casinos and couldn't make a reverse in life. Basically, helping them sometimes seem worthless especially when they have been addicted into these games, they can be help while still on the surface, but those who are deeper into the addiction can't be help as my conclusion.

That's also my worry, you don't engage with gamblers with that randomly if you don't know them. Can give a few talks to give them some reminder but wouldn't go full as if you're friends with them. You might even get scolded and they'll say to mind your own business.

I haven't tried giving advice to people on their betting behavior, at least ever since the fact that I would always get into a fight with someone when I tell them what to do with their money. Don't get me wrong, what you did was good and probably was the right thing to do, but I just don't see myself being altruistic enough to help a fellow gambler in deep mire after wasting away thousands of dollars on a loss.
