I'm skeptical. There are dozens of coins that have claimed to be used in the sex industry. I don't believe that any have had any significant level of adoption. I wouldn't invest any money before doing a thorough analysis.

If there are chances that you could buy it with a trading website then there is also a chance it might be used for something else.
But if that can be bought only in their own sex website then no doubt it will only be for that.

Duuude, check out DPorn haha   they are actually doing stuff in the adult industry, So many projects have come and gone over the years, and 99% of them have fallen flat. 
Sexcoin was good for a while, but has fallen flat a long time ago AFAIK. buy some, hodl it for a few years, see what happens if u must but other then that sexcoin is ded since the 51% attack imo : /

Actually true! Any cryptocurrency with specific use like booking movie tickets or booking flight tickets or watching porn websites! These coins actually loose their tenacity within few days of launching. Because crypto adoption is already very less and making a crypto for specific use will make its scope even narrower! So they face the inevitable!

I sometimes wonder, why we need different tokens for different usage! Instead these websites can use famous cryptos like bitcoin or eth!

I think its not a good idea to use crypto on business like this, most altcoins that Ive see with this kind of purpose have failed so I will never trust a project with this kind of goal.

I wouldn't even waste enough energy thinking about sexcoin to be skeptical.  It's a shit coin that nobody uses and never will.  If I'm not mistaken I've seen it on yobit being given away as a free coin, which ought to tell you in what high regard the market thinks of it. 

Whatever 'the sex industry' is, it doesn't need its own cryptocurrency.  And if people need to use crypto to buy sexual...whatever...bitcoin would work just fine for purchases.  There is absolutely no need for coins to be developed for every industry that exists.  If I were Op I would avoid sexcoin and never look back.

It will be another dead coin soon so don't waste time on finding other areas to spend it because really you can't find.Did you checked this coin is traded on any exchanges? If yes then see how the price chart has been in the life time then you will understand why you don't have to invest on coins like these.

Personally, I have never met a project, and there were several on the market that could effectively implement blockchain in the adult industry. I don’t understand why blockchain is generally needed as a stimulus for demand and interest on the part of the buyer in this area. Indeed, in essence, the project will have to give part of the money to your customers, share profit with them, while reducing their income in an already very profitable space. You can not do this, but introduce the usual points system without Blockchain, which will be much more effective and already has precedents.

Probably not a good idea to try to push Sexcoin in particular for anything other than the adult entertainment industry as the name alone isn't something that companies and people would like to associate with most things, but if the coin's sendable just like any other cryptocurrency out there and it's got fast transaction times, there might be a few other viable uses for the coin, though I don't think there's much potential for it besides the adult entertainment industry because it's built so specifically for one thing.

I think this happened because what they were running was a million-dollar business. Everyone wants to seek their fortune there. Not new if there is something interesting and booming, there will definitely be someone who follows it by way of seeing, examples, and modifications. At least this indicates that the growth of crypto is increasingly in demand and also as a natural selection that those who are not serious about carrying out their projects will die in vain.

I think these types of coin are useless. How come sex can be relate into blockchain application? People nowadays are really lazy to think of a good platform that will contributed into blockchain innovations. Hope these kind of projects will be stop though we can't stop it.
