I've heard his name numerous times on the forum, but sad to say I still don't really know who he is.  He's made some wild predictions about bitcoin, correct?  Did he make a specific prediction that was supposed to have come true by now? 

MacAfee is the man who made a very popular antivirus software and firewall in the 1990s. He left the company that bears his name in the mid 1990's and then moved to Belize where he appeared to go batshit (posting videos of himself snorting coke onto youtube and so on).

I think he managed to lose a fortune of about $100 million on living a wild life and then started shilling for dubious alt coins, and of course making wild predictions about bitcoin.

Basically everyone should ignore him - whatever brains he had have been well and truly fried by now.

This should be a lesson for him for trusting other people's prediction or idea in terms of the market.  This should never been done and newbies should be focusing on learning how to analyze on their own because it is much better to make mistake that came from you rather than from other people. Keep moving forward and take this as a lesson and don't repeat the same mistake again.

Been a reader of his predictions but never followed any or any prediction from famous people since there were times they do prediction is I'm on need money or busy in other alts. They just human too and they just predict based on their understanding so do us.  OP must not blame them since it's we who choose to follow them. Yes, we must not trust easily here in crypto as some may have hidden reason on why they create that prediction.

Were you idiotic enough to believe him? I know almost no one who believed such comments by A fool himself. Mcafee is no one but just a crypto enthusiast with almost zero IQ and 100 SQ(Social Quotient). His predictions are based on nothing but merely hoax. I think even if it comes to it he might just eat his dick because I don't believe that bitcoin will be $1 Million. So chill out and don't believe in every crypto predictor online.

That guy is a troll i can tell because of his wild prediction about bitcoin going to 1 million in 2020 yet he's not that confident. He then doubled the price which was extremely oblivious to the current state of the market. Just because someone told him that they were from the future he's now acting like he was right. Insanity!

McAfee is prerty famous but no matter how famous a person is, if it's a prediction, there's still no hundred percent of accuracy. Don't fall nuch on the predictions then gonna blame it to others..

I don't know why there is some people who entrusted their money to someone, I doubt if they are really lazy enough to do research or they just trust people a lot.

Relying on someone's prediction is really risky and this is why some newbies keep buying at wrong times. I think that having a proper analysis to the prediction or personal research is the right thing to do. If we keep jumping in because of spiking of candles down or up, we can't profit from the market. McAfee is human and not a super human

Let me get this right , you've invested into Bitcoin just because McAfee made a speculation about Bitcoin price and you believed it ? Come on man , be smarted than that , guess who is laughing now at those who took him seriously about that statement.

There are a lot of predictions from every major players and if you could tell me the reason why you are obsessed about the prediction of McAfee i can give you an answer, my speculation on seeing your query is that you are obsessed to see him eat his dick and hence you want to stick to his prediction  . When it comes to the price rally you need to have some patience till the halving and lets see how the market will react after that.

Nice joke for current scenario and no one accept this statement. In reality we don't believe the skyrocket growing on crypto market, I see the past bull run and dump on Bitcoin status. So this year 3k USD is starting and 12k USD was occur at recent bull run. But right now market is stay in a positive region so wait and see what will happen in future.

I liked the guy when he got into Bitcoin and became one of those vocal bulls. He's a charismatic person so that helped a lot. After some time he was found pumping shitcoins, we've learned how much he charged for a tweet, and his reputation as bitcoin bull suffered. A really bad habit when you do always consider on following up those so-called professional or popular person into this market.Words by them doesnt really have that precise
or accurate ones when it comes to predicting prices yet we know that crypto space is a unpredictable one and no matter how smart and popular a person is, they wont have the capability on predicting the future.In op's situation proves out that they are just being victimized by false promises. lol., and they dont even consider or thinking up twice is said

What's there to ask with McAfee, there are people who have predicted the price to go higher than McAfee. Just because he's a popular person, he's been asked about it. Always it is our responsibility to research and do invest. It looks quite harming and difficult to believe such price predictions. Let's
