Lol, I also got into bitcoin as a free money in whole. Yes, I was misguided about bitcoin mining as a free money. I didn't know about bitcoin in 2010, I only got to know of it in late 2013 and I didn't get in immediately, till around 2014. When I started making use of it, it wasn't for buying anything, I only used it to accept payment and as time goes on I started to develop an interest and began to save some part of my money in it. I did benefit from the 2017 bull run but what I got wasn't much. If I had Bitcoin in 2010 I don't think I would use it in buying anything, I will also be saving it just like I did when I started, although I didn't have much.

This time around I has also been doing the same thing, though I'm not expecting the bull run to come anytime soon. I have seen people (some economists) that claimed there will no longer be bull run. Maybe they are doing that to make people lose interest, but I no longer place my focus there because there are other methods I use to earn BTC, and they are working for me.

Every day I hear about predictions in the market, some people say that Bitcoin will reach a million dollars within a few years. But most of them only make predictions without any basis, no one can give convincing evidence for what they predict. Maybe tomorrow the price of Bitcoin will rise to the moon or it may never happen. If you want to keep Bitcoin, keep it, do not listen to anyone's prediction.

Actually there is kind of  "evidence" to support their predictions. This is the basic law of economics - demand and supply. Bitcoin has limited supply and the reward for its mining is still decreasing (halving). On other side, it is becoming more and more popular, so the demand is increasing. This means that in theory its price should rise very quickly all the time. The problem is that something unpredictable can happen: Bitcoin will become illegal, quantum computers will break the code, better technology will be invented than Blockchain .. Predicting that the price will rise all the time is nothing but a bet that nothing unpredictable will happen. In other words, McAfee is a gambler.

He was amateur prediction with crypto price, I know who is McAffe but in crypto world his prediction is never come true and always incorrect whit altcoin suggestion, many altcoin have recommended by him never have higher price after few days after his prediction and I only trusted with announcement and update with exchange project and altcoin new partner update too.

Probably everyone in cryptoword know who is McAfee and why he was doing predictions for shitcoins. His prediction was a prepaid service for making pump & dump, or maybe he bought this coins earlier only to sell after predicted pump. It doesn't matter now. Behind the price of Bitcoin are the laws of economics, and what he says doesn't matter because that's the way it is. It's just that strategically-minded economists are aware that Bitcoin is still just an experiment and something unpredictable can happen at any moment, so nobody is so brave to predict its price for the year or longer. McAfee is a gambler, so he bet on that nothing bad will happen, that's all.

Lol, I think that you must really be a clown because you don't expect to hold on to promises made to thousands of people who could get certain thing right at a particular time, and since he did not spot you out directly, you don’t expect him to just redeem his pledge and I think if you are serious about this, you might have to press more to gain direct access to.

Before bitcoin can multiply again that 8 times, I think that it will be towards the time that the halving is approaching, because that period is usually filled with lots of expectations s so many people would want to really start investing in bitcoin because of the halving and this will make the value of bitcoin to have a pre-spike in price before the main halving value, and it is during that pre-spike that you can see any increase.

Sometimes I feel like he is being sarcastic. I have no doubt in bitcoin’s strength and in an era, where digital currencies will rule the world, I can imagine bitcoin to have all time high value. But this needs some years to become reality.

Not only is he alone scattered by such statements, but he is the first to say that he will do something with himself if his forecast does not come true.

Many cryptocurrency users have deceived all their expectations, since everyone planned to get superprofits, especially paying attention to the results of 2016 and 2017.  But the situation on the cryptocurrency market developed in a completely different way and now no one can say that cryptocurrency gives a very easy and quick income.  Nevertheless, the risks in the cryptocurrency business have always been talked about and warned everyone that working with the cryptocurrency is almost like playing a game of chance, when everything depends not only on the situation on the cryptocurrency market, but also on luck.

If you are trying to invest in a company you know that gives you a lot of profit, still make sure they trusted because sometimes they use their popularity to earn more customers to invest in their projects. Some of them are using the cryptocurrency as a payment to their investors. It was a good idea because less hassle and just sending the wallet address, but if you don't have any KYC or verification that needed to tell you will get a percentage on the income, be careful on that kind of scenario to avoid scams.

When you are trying to invest in companies you want, it is better to have your research on how to manage and deal with those transactions. That's the problem in cryptocurrency and to people, they can easily believe and trust the team, they are not thinking well if this is possible, they believe in flowery words of the core team and hoping that they can change their life that easily, so for me, let should be very careful in every project, we should not trust that easily, we can invest if we think they are legit but not too much, proper investigation, asking other opinions should be considered.

I really don't think McAfee has contacted him in person or knocked anyone’s door to give his predictions regarding bitcoin. That statement was just to give a glimpse of what bitcoin really is capable of. I firmly believe that bitcoin can touch this much amount in future, some day. But like everyone else, the right time cannot be predicted with accuracy. After the coming halving, bitcoin will be near 50k dollars.

I think the only free money here, the other way from mining is that joining in some airdrop, because there is no such thing that you can gain actually a lot of money for free, every person in here is using their own knowledge to earn some money their own different ways, there are people that are good at investing, they are supporting particular project with their own money, there are also earning because of promoting or advertising a particular project, they are actually called bounty hunters. There are also using intelligence in terms of gambling to earn also. There are also traders in here in which they are buying some tokens at a low price and selling it at high price.
