holding bitcoin might be the best option right now because of incoming halving
you can an also invest in some popular altcoin but the risk is still high
investing in IEO/ICO have a higher risk because you dont know if the coin will still continue

I think you should know that invest is not easy and need market analyze which maybe you can't do it. Invest need time and calculation because this time market look's bad for every strategy. Just advice, wait until next year and stay with bitcoin. Never replace your money into new coin ( project ) and never forget about stop loss.

I agree with you when you stated that he should keep his BTC (and also ETH which you didn't include) for now looking at the market situation. BTC had halving news next year and ETH has staking news (ETH 2.0 launch soon) hence I think it's best to keep his current holdings.

if you wanna invest in something, you MUST know what you expect first. it can give you a 'rule' before investing.
for example, you have to know:

1 how many profit which you expect
2 how long you will invest
3 how many risk you wanna take
4 how you manage your money

You have to answer all those question, so you will understand what investment which is suitable for you.

For finding a suitable investment strategy, answering these stated questions will not clear the mind of OP. Even the short term bear market can destroy the long dreams in case of taking emotional trades like panic selling or closing the profit faucet after successful trades.  The risk/reward ratio is important to understand the market volatility which is normal for the cryptocurrencies, investing in the volatile digital assets is quite risky.

it's really hard to join the IEO program in binance, I tried several times and it never worked, but if it succeeds in joining it's very lucky, because at least IEO in binance when traded it will make ATH and make a profit at least x2-x5. but so far some coins are down because market conditions are bearish, so it's good to buy some IEO at low prices.

I think you're right but most people do not want to hold ethereum or bitcoin because they have unrealistic goals that are impossible to reach with those two coins, they want to obtain tremendous profits out of their small investment and while the growth that ethereum and bitcoin are going to experience is without a doubt bigger than what any other asset can give there are many that want to obtain even greater profits with unknown altcoins because their capital is small.

At this time we can't believe project rating because this false repoation and i see many good rating project gone to death in this year 2019. So currently my mind take it choice top currency in cmc and take long time invest then maybe this will our better movement.

You're very brave person, you can replace your money in any investment platform you want but do your research first. Investment need wise calculation and time to get profit, already analyze that?. I think it's better to invest into bitcoin compared to some other coins to avoid risk. Because if we look at bitcoin it's better to invest and if we look at price movements in the market even though it sometimes goes up and down and you could say the price is still far from what we expected. But I believe that investing in it is a good decision compared to other coins.

I would definitely stay away from the ICO and IEO scene right now as it is super risky and even good projects tend to dip under the initial price after the listing. Regarding the relatively small amount that you have in crypto, it depends on your ROI expectations, if you are satisfied with couple of X in the time span of a year or two, I would stick with safe investments like BTC and ETH, but if you want bigger returns and are prepared to take on more risk, go for some already established alts that will probably do 10x+ in the next alt cycle, like NEO, EOS, Ontology, ADA etc.
