You forgot to mention the bounty hunters, there are still bounty hunters who is making a good profit and there's no money involved here, just patient and a piece of knowledge on how to pick the right project, but between the two traders are making good profit although we can consider both as investors, because both are investing money, to invest or trade.

You probably mean who is more successful from these optons: 1) traders or 2) holders right? Because both are investors. 1) are investors for the short term and second ones are investors for long term. Statistically holders are in much bigger profit, but it is because they bought their cryptocurrencies in the beginning, before year 2017.

This has a pretty difficult answer. Basically, both of them have the same potential because it depends on the number of assets that you spend. I am pretty sure that currently the rich people out there are mostly investors. but, if we talk about these advantages in the short term, I might choose traders.

think carefully, successful investors have benefited every day, week, month, even yearly. it always happens continuously, especially if they are investors who have a popularity. while for traders, maybe today they can get a big profit, but we don't know in the future as tomorrow, next week, next month, or the next year. In this choice, I choose investors, but in reality, it all depends on the strategy and the number of funds used to invest, or trade.

They are both successful the difference is that the time range they consumed on a way of getting such profit. Investors are way too long than the trader but the profit in there is like a one time big time while traders are somehow like that but they climb up little by little depending on what is the basis of trading. Well, in terms of the chance of being successful, investing are more riskier than trading because profit depends upon the result while trading depends on how the trader did his/her trading.

Traders have been more successful lately compare to investors especially due to the fact that many ICOs in the last year have failed or turned out as a scam. But right now, the rise of IEOs has given a chance for many investors to have salvation. Though IEO does not guarantee the success of the project, at least the coin is listed on the exchange so, it is more likely that you can minimize your losses. Trading is also difficult because you will not always know what the market will bring today.

As for me, at the moment I'm more successful as a trader. Daily trading allows me to make a profit that suits me perfectly. Of course, I have some altcoins in which I invested for the long term. But are we talking about present day? That's why my answer is trader.

it is depends on the market situation but for now I think the one who will benefited to this market condition are those full time traders because those investments by investors and kept sleeping until the bull wakes up, and it is much riskier putting some funds on coins that is why people wants to invest only on btc.

Not all traders are manipulating the market or always under it. How about those small traders that are also trying their best to get some profit through the volatility of the market.

In the early time, Investors were more successful. because they were holding their cryptocurrency while traders were making a lot of trades and getting a small profit from the uptrend while investors were multiplying their investment. But right now they are changing their position, Traders are more successful because they have a chance to get profit while investors are likely to lose their investment because of heavy market.

I made a profit from my investment right now, not much but it is steady. I do not do the trade that much right now because I prefer to hold it for my future. The market is very unpredictable and it is very likely for me to lose my capital instead of gaining something from this market.
