the chance will always be there as long as we are aware of every moment that happens when prices start moving up and down, because every movement at least there will be a right time to buy and sell, so the chance is always there as long as we are confident to do it

I think it is still not suitable, because the new Altcoin still needs time to develop, depending on the usability and purpose of the project, if it's good it will be supported by many people. First you have to analyze the coins you want to buy. There are still potential altcoins which are best to invest. Investors are just afraid to take the risks since Bitcoin and other top coins are considered as more profitable during this kind of market situation. I just hope that when Bitcoin booms, other altcoins would go better as well.

Start buying altcoins before its too late, the red market you are all complaining about is a big opportunity for those who knows that altcoin time will arrive, all you need to do is ....
1. Buy altcoins that have real use cases or backed with real wprking product, they tend to always have value better than copied projects.
2. Take it or leave it, new good projects will bring better ROI than many old altcoins, feels like we've seem how far old altcoins can go already, now its new altcoins time.
Indeed, investors need to consider the usefulness and the uniqueness of the altcoin because these two characteristics can greatly help the project survive for very long time. Relevance makes any crypto stay in the market because they have constant customers or users that allows the investors to gain a long term profit. There are also other factors that can come to play so it's better to have realistic expectations only.

Actually, having a red market is the biggest opportunity for those people who really loves trading. They are trying to buy the coin at its lowest price and try to sell it when the price of it rises up and become profitable. It is kinda risky because the coin that you have bought might not increase its price anymore so be mindful of what you are going to trade.

If I am a new investor, I still recommend buying Bitcoin, so the relative risk is low, but relatively speaking. Investors who have entered cryptocurrency for many years. You can consider other altcoins. Although the risks are high, relatively speaking, if successful, the profits will be substantial. Due to its long time to market, it is relatively stress-resistant. Can consider potential altcoins, such as ADA, IOST and so on.

red market to other is bad when they bought it too high, but to other its opportunity to buy and hold it, wait for the time to sell, but of course dont just buy, check the use of that token or coin, its very impotant that you understand the essence of it. dont just look the price in short time, make sure the coins or token is for long term use.

To this comment I will definitely agree. The real opportunity is not always when the token or coin is currently on a green status. After the deep and long red status, the only way of the market and the price is to go up! That's the real opportunity! Buy when it is low but be careful what altcoin to buy.

You might not be actually far from the truth, buying altcoin now could be profitable because no one can actually tell what the future holds for crypto. Though my believe is that altcoin will only move more when there is an actual movement on bitcoin else I doubt the possibility of it yielding positively .

Indeed right now we can't guess the market price movements with certainty, but usually bitcoin price movements can be an incentive for altcoin to crawl up, especially in the future bitcoin will experience halving day so, it will most likely make bitcoin prices go up, so, I think now it makes sense if we buy some altcoin and save it until halving day happens.

There are no chances for altcoiners while bitcoin is not growing
That's true, we should rally for Bitcoin then everything will follow, you can hype all the coins, all you want but if Bitcoin price is not moving then it's not going anywhere, everything still depends on Bitcoin, you can see the market now all coins are down, with Bitcoin dominance very obvious, altcoins will have a hard time with their prices, it's new year quite painful to see on the first day of the year that market is bleeding still.

I want to disagree New projects will send you to the village quietly than existing projects Crypto currency investment is not a trial and error situations It takes proper planning Ensure to dyor always I agree to do your own research is the first they need to do before investing buying altcoin today is still very risky because of incoming bitcoin halving It look like it will drop even more in the next few months.

I have little faith in altcoins when compared to bitcoin. But I am not saying all altcoins are not good. There are obviously good altcoins namely ethereum, Binance Coin. But except for a handful altcoins, others are almost for no use in real. So taking this matter into view, you should choose only real value coins that have potentiality to grow. Good luck.

I prefer into buying altcoin that has real usage and already top in the market. Buying also bitcoin is my top choice than altcoin actually which I really hold until such time price increase. Of course when we invest we must always look into profitable altcoin.

It's not about buying new altcoin adding to your portfolio. It's about how long will you be able to see price movement of altcoin. There are good altcoin to buy but the problem is how long will the price increase

I think the best option now is to buy BTC for 40% of your cash and make an altcoin portfolio from another 60%. And i think one should avoid investing in new projects or lowcap coins now - it's too risky. Top-30 on coinmarketcap - that's the right answer.

It seems that it takes a long time for the new altcoin to increase, so I don't think it's a good choice. Altcoin is only used for investment, the risk is very high compared to the old altcoin that has been traded on the market.

You can choose whatever strategy you believe it may give you some profits but during 2019 the best coin in which you could have invested your money was bitcoin and most likely the same is going to hold true during the next year so I do not see the point in investing in altcoins such a a huge amount of your capital and take such a huge risks just to get losses, it is better to have 100% of your capital on bitcoin and only decrease that amount when altcoins have proven they can make greater profits than bitcoin during this year.

I'm worried about what to buy right now as most altcoins I bought previously have left me in a right financial mess. I will take my time and observe the market well enough before jumping but btc is still my most profitable asset.

Today all the coins are starting to rise very high and actually I have made a huge profit. If you have bought altcoins at a cheap price from a few months ago, you are feeling very happy because the altcoin season comes back earlier than expected by many people. I hope that the altcoin season can last a little longer and it will be a great opportunity for you to consider investing more. Personally, I still choose to invest in Bitcoin but will only use 20% of my assets because Bitcoin is not the most profitable coin for me.
