Yes, good if you just want to scan brief information, but if you want to check the project feasibility as a whole then it is not recommendable, remember that everyone of us can tweet and response to a project either positive or negative, although the project is legit, there are fudder out there that will bring negative comment for them to bag more of the coins/tokens. So, I will still depend on their website and to their medium page.

But even scam projects are using twitter to give updates and tweets false information to make their community listen to all their lies.
Not all information in the twitter is trusted, using social media is no longer guaranteed to get legitimate information. I do agree with using Reddit since it is known as a reliable source of information, there is a reference where the information was found and any details that will prove the legitimacy of the information.

so many enthusiasm or influencers crypto and even the founder of altcoins using twitter, I always look for information on twitter, lots of good information there. but be careful, most are just pump and dump, even like mcaffee, who gets paid every tweet.

Yes, there's a lot of good source of information via twitter, during my trading time, I am following and checking the 'Whale alert bot' but when I wanted to invest in a project, I just don't rely much on twitter, as followers can be paid, people liking, commenting and sharing can be paid too, so we should not rely on them but to the project itself if they are really worth investing such as their own website, their whitepaper, github, reddit.

In my opinion Twitter or other social media are not good sources of crypto info. because it is a direct answer from someone who is not necessarily right. it is better if you want to get cryptocurrency information we can ask questions and discuss in this forum. the presence of this bitcointalk forum is very useful we can make it as a place to learn cryptocurrency. or we can also find information about cryptocurrency through a website or blog. now there are many websites that explain about cryptocurrency.

lol there are tons of accounts that can be followed with reputations then why choose yours?lol you wont get any follower with this kind of approach

Twitter is used as marketing but again we should understand twitter if we want to invest in crypto we should follow our own analysis rather than following twitter blindly

Twitter will suspend your account the moment you provide an argument against someone famous. I remember Nouriel Roubini and Craig Wright were reporting accounts and twitter was permanently suspending them.

Twitter is a joke and you have no power against certain agentas they promote. It is just another centralized information gathering tool for marketers where you have no rights or power. If you read their rules it basically says they can ban you for anything. Any comment they don't like, any retweet you make, if too many people start following you, anything at all. Perhaps if you dig deep you will find they have a payment option as well, so your tweets reach a bigger audience! If you pay them enough you might be clear to lie and deceive with no consequences.

Twitter is an actual Orwellian state with thought police in practice that is shutting down free speech. You are not allowed to have an opinion in Twitter, if it goes against their agenta.

I still remember the day I followed Mc Afee's signals on Twitter regarding his "pump&dump" tokens, old good days. By the way, now i still use Twitter to gain information about the blockchain projects I am holding, while Facebook is still vague about cryptocurrency, I think Twitter and reddit is good source for Bitcoin news! However, my twitter account sometimes got restricted by their bot's scan and it is quite annoying

I agree with you. It is more useful info when it comes in bitcoin news the twitter and reddit. Most of investors and traders are looking for news at these sites than facebook. I think most of fb users are only for self updates and entertainment. If you want to look for pump and dump signal look for twitter.

Nope the best way to get the real news is to gather up all of the information and see it to yourself if they are true or just another fake news to create FOMO.
There are so many TA wanna be in the twitter or in social media so be careful on listening to them.
And if it is info about crypto I think this forum should also be considered as a good one.

It is a great idea to build up a page on Twitter solely for sharing news related to bitcoin. This will help increase the awareness of bitcoin in the entire world which will also help in the adoption of it in the financial ecosystem.  But the only problem I might have about creating a page for bitcoin news is the page spread FUDs which will end up discouraging people from using Bitcoin. I just hope you don't share FUDs...
