Before we can think about the end of bounty program, it will be great to think about why it started, its contributions to the ICO, IEO, STO, why new project needs it etc.

Bounty is a way of exposing new project to the public, agreed that most bounty hunters do not invest into the token/coin ico, ieo etc but they expose it to the people that might be interested in buying, by means of viral marketing on twitter, facebook etc.

Bounty program is the cheapest means of direct targeting advertising.

Bounty program is not over yet unless the bounty hunters are no longer interested in promoting new project.

It's not stupidity, they are just hoping that every month or even every quarter there is one good campaign to be published. It is not that right to call it stupidity if they only wanted their work to be paid off.
You're a bounty hunter yourself, you may feel the same way as other bounty hunter.

i agree there is no way that bounty participation is still profitable, this is only profitable for project owner if they make a hugr funds for making a project they only givr just a cents for bounty. That why its not a good idea to still continue supporting it.

you are right, if the bounty program still isn't over yet because some prize hunters still participate in a scam project. I see this year there are a lot of bounty program scams launched and hopefully this won't happen again in the coming year. already not as many participants at the bounty program like it used to be again and that makes me sad.

Bounty hunting is just getting started, bitcoin is changing everything and crypto is getting legalized breaking all mainstream blockages, 2017 bounty profits will repeat itself soon i believe, all we have to do is look for solid projects and stop promoting bad projects for scammers

No, i don't believe the bounty campaigns are over. Many projects which continue the its IEO, are also launching bounty campaigns. Therefore, i don't think it's right to correlate the bounty campaigns with ICOs only. However, unfortunately, the number of successful bounty campaigns is quite low compared to previous years. Therefore, we need to be more careful and do more research before choosing a bounty campaign.

Bounty will only stop if no more new projects are been created, ask yourself if that is ever going to happen, i guess not because to perfect blockchain tech and old coins we will always see new ones been built

Indeed the condition of the bounty campaign is different now from a few years ago but I think the bounty campaign is not over. The new project still needs a bounty campaign program so that the project is known by the cryptocurrency community. Indeed, at this time we have to do more research so that our bounties are not in vain

Just like before there was no bounty program at all, there's only a signature campaign, after these bounty scammers have been busted, there will be no sensible participants who will participate and what they will get is only spammers who only spam their project on some social media. the forum will return back to normal again with no spammers roaming in the Altcoin section.

Signature program is a sort of bounty if you think about it,,, but not everyone can participate well because it requires careful thinking, constructive criticism and helpful comments.

Most people as you can see in this forum actually are pure speculators with no knowledge or even the desire to help.

At the minimum people should be able to help report spam if they know nothing else!

Not really that the bounty program is getting over and out, I think due to lack of credibility and acceptability people are not interested in using the bounty process, I know a lot of people didn't get any reward by participating a bounty program, not only that but also rewarded ICO token is not any worth, so why people will participate this way, another thing is that the Bounty program is fully paid so it doesn't bring any authentic matter which is not worth for the people, That's why I also think that Bounty program is not any worth idea for both promotional purpose and hunter's aspect, I am not sure bounty will exist or not in the coming days.

It would continue as long those scam projects would exist hoping for some fool investors to throw up some money into their pockets thats why
these bounty programs wont really die. Bounty boards of this forum is still active but talking about profitability for its participants? then its long time gone
to the days where working is still worth but now? You would basically wasting up your time and resources yet 99% of them doesnt pay or do end up being a shit coin

It's still present since there are still so many scammers trying to get some attention and funds hiding behind the ICO scene, and for sure they will use the bounty to spread there awareness aswell to lure people so that they can accumulate there targets that's why for those participants who willing to join them better if they will research carefully on which campaign they want to join in since if the campaigns are 100% scam then sounds like they are helping scammers and they will give a free service to promote those scammers.

I think it's the end of bounties era as users don't trust bounties anymore due to the scam projects and greedy developers who don't have intention of rewarding users for their efforts but rather just wants to use them as a tool of marketing. In order to gain trust we need some good projects which does not scam investor's and provide rewards for hunters and list the project in good exchange.

then why are you still a bounty hunter now? although you get paid using BTC and you can take it at any time, but it proves that the bounty hunter is not over. there are still projects that might be good, but now it is very difficult to get them. but we also cannot stand still and just wait, move on to not blunt our brains.

I think the bounty program will continue and not end, new challenger businesses will continue to emerge with good innovations and concepts, and they still need the help of hunters to promote the products they offer..  just look at how gambling sites that pay bounty hunters with BTC continue to appear, this indicates that bounty hunters are still urgently needed.

I just believe as long as new coin will come to this space there will be a form of crowdfund, and not all of them will go without a campaign ( a form of advert in this space). More work lies on the bounty managers to approach good projects and vice versa. I was thinking a new form of crowdsale could have started like the DAICO. The IEO enjoyed a good year, though they could not bring that size of ICO money to the space but I believe the successful ones will have a good run in the next bull market. We will have more crowdsale when the market revives.

If what you mean is profitable, there's hardly anymore, out of 10, maybe 1 or 2 are a legit campaign, ICO is dying there's no doubt about it, but bounty campaign is not for ICO anymore there are a lot of projects that are already in the market, that's still doing a bounty campaign, there's nothing wrong with bounty campaign and it will stay on,  what harm the bounty hunters are the scam projects that continue to lose investor's confidence.

Bounty campaign is not over during many ICOs project still running looking for their investor, when many ICO still active and give feature for investor there are have chance for bounty campaign to get reward by joining their bounty. When bounty campaign is over? I think when many ICO have failed and investor not interested for investing with ICO anymore.

This year, I don’t trust any project that much except projects that I know is coming from these type of exchanges like binance on their IEO platform, most of this year projects has been just about raising money alone, and I hope and pray that it will not continue this way next year because many investors will lose interest completely and we may not have any single project that will be able to raise money at all when they come up with their crowd funding program to establish any project.

Lately I participated in harmony bounty they have paid me then they later conducted IEO that made their project to become successful and I think binance must have verified to see that they have a very responsible team member to handle the project. But, I cannot assume that I will escape every time or being lucky to get rewards all times. So, I will just focus on my current campaign that's all for next few months.
