There might be some countries that are against cryptocurrency, but the convenience, advantage, and opportunities that cryptocurrency has to weigh more than the downside or the fear of people bitcoin being used for illegal activities, scam, fraudulent acts, money laundering and etc. People and the government are always skeptical of qhat is new, not until everyone or the majority is pro against it. Just imagine how the internet or any other innovation started. Only a few are patronizing or even using it when it was first introduced to the mass, but now it has became a big or even part of our daily lives.

Since inception, there has always been the thought of governments banning crytos, but overtime, crytocurrencies has been seen to have gained more recognition by both individuals and certain groups at large. As far as this subject topic is concern, i don't think the ban on cryptos would be agreed upon by all governments; some will adopt it as an alternative means, while others might not.

I don't think they will ban cryptocurrency because of it's potential and the growth it may cause in a certain country but there are countries that already ban it and maybe because of the lack of knowledge on it, in my opinion, the government might support it or maybe they will regulate it because cryptocurrency is becoming a trend and becoming bigger and bigger than other countries that don't know about it in the past, now supports it and creates their own coins to support it.

I think It is possible if they see any uncontrollable growth and if the government will not benefit for its growth.
The government will most likely want to use its full potential for their own benefit. If they see that it is impossible for them to have crypto roll into their hands, it is possible to contradict its growth by banning and limiting its use especially into a certain country.

There is no such thing for the government to ban Cryptos, on the other hand they can tighten the clearer regulatory regulatory framework for Cryptos. In the future of technology, Cryptos is a strong breakthrough in the cryptocurrency industry, banning is not feasible for the present and the future.

Considering that the governments such as China have already tried to ban Cryptos. Would more governments do the same because Cryptos threaten the banks or the governments may want more control over what people use as currency and to remove all alternatives? What do you guys think, I personally think it won’t happen, but you might think otherwise.

I think the government can ban bitcoin but it is not going to be easy in a lot of ways because it is like the internet cannot be banned completely,
they could only banned a lot of users to use it in their country but not they cannot take down bitcoin.
Also, bitcoin was not yet a threat in fiat money, fiat money, in my opinion, was already established and bitcoin is decentralized I cannot imagine a currency that is decentralized in a country it will not going to work it is better if bitcoin stays what it is today in my opinion.

Since China had already tried doing it, it is not impossible for other countries as well. Cryptocurrency can be a threat when a government wants the full power and control over people's assets. But for now, we can't be too sure about it since there's still a lot of people who doesn't know anything about crypto. We'll only know how will the government react towards crypto if crypto and bitcoin achieves more adoption

Many countries will want to do the same. I am sure of this, because countries are afraid of Cryptos and this is understandable, because accepting this state may lose power. Countries like China will not allow it.

In my country the altcoins are well known and very effective. It almost level as the banks. But the banks is not threaten about this. Instead they collaborate in processing the money. If you want to cash in you can use almost all banks with the altcoins. So i do not think that government will ban cryptos and instead make a way to reach there goals, to provide money in easiest way.

There are many speculations about that government will ban cryptos. Well, I guess some may do it. But for those countries where cryptos had been part of their economic stability they will not do it. Basically, it depends on how it affected in each an every country. Mostly I guess will adopt it rather than ban it.

Right now it seems there is a purge in Bitcoin Twitter accounts, like the one we've seen back in the beginning of 2018.

It looks that Jack is really enjoying hold Bitcoin so much that does not want people promoting it in his own platform.

yes, strong countries like China and the United States are always trying to stop cryptocurrency but in fact they have not succeeded in stopping cryptocurrency. they prohibit crypto because they think crypto can threaten the sovereignty of their national currency.
now that crypto has developed rapidly it will be difficult to stop it and every year more and more countries are finally willing to accept cryptocurreny and blockchain technology. so in the future in my opinion there will be an increasing number of countries that accept crypptocurrency.
Well, the government of the country has always thought that a crypto ban could restrict people from completely using crypto but very clearly, this ban came too late and when it came out, crypto became a fairly common area on social networks and online systems, users are too knowledgeable about crypto and know it is unstoppable. It all made the ban on crypto meaningless, a lot of countries like China and the United States want to ban but they have begun to get discouraged, perhaps in the near future they will be willing to accept crypto as we wish.

Only centralized coins will the government have the power to stop it, they is no way they can stop bitcoin since its not centralized no one controls bitcoin
that is why they are so eager to have  a teeth for digital currency to control it those who follow the government will have a big issue in the future because
the government have claws over them bitcoin in the other hand will be announce as illegal by some government body since there is no way they can control them
that is what they are going to do, because its not controllable it is own by the people,

Well, you have already answered your question in your question. There's no way to stop the blockchain from existence. These two needs each others, both the bank and crypto. The adoption is going to happen but not everyone would want to save there money in crypto or banks. We all have reasons to choose wherever we want but the government seems to only think about themselves alone, sure there are people in the government that are fan of a coin.

So far now it's really impossible for the government to ban Bitcoin or crypto as it has been developing and innovating for a decade already and yet they allow this to evolve, so I think that most countries are open for this possibilities and adoption of cryptocurrencies especially in Asian countries wherein it is widely used and open in their country that they don't need to hide.
Bitcoin will legal using currency payment if have higher price at the future but never take care to legal or not using bitcoin if price have down, many cases happen after bitcoin become popular and have higher price, when bitcoin still down at first time launching no one care with bitcoin and altcoin as investing and currency payment.

They can actually do that and it is happening in some countries like China, the government can regulate and ban any crypto or websites that can be accessed using a firewall worldwide, firewall is the best way they can use to regulate every websites that is connected to cryptocurrencies. But some countries are adopting in changes, they are accepting and recognizing crypto as a good currency but in a different way, because it uses internet before you can access it, it is digital money to be specific. And other countries cant see that.

I think China deliberately banning the use of Cryptos because they want that their people should only use their own digital currency. There are some countries have already prohibit the used of crypto but there is also some countries are now gradually accepting it like France. In my country cryptocurrencies are not prohibited that is why I can use it freely I want, however, it is not fully supported yet that is why I can't use it in any physical store. Getting back to the topic, perhaps the world might be divided into half where the other one accepts the use of crypto while the other one is not.

How are they going to ban a decentralized currency? Most of the countries tried to but a ban on torrenting due to piracy reasons, but were they able to do it? Nope they failed miserably. Crypto currencies (at least most of them are) also takes place P2P and transactions are done without any kind of middle man involved. Thus the government has no "central" authority or "institution" to ban. All they can do is ban the usage of crypto currencies within their countries, but it also going to be really hard for them to actually force it on people.

It could happen but I don't think other countries would be as crypto hater like China.
As of now, there are still a lot of countries who are very positive with bitcoin, with this latest news https://www.coindesk.com/german-banks-allowed-to-sell-and-custody-crypto-assets-from-2020-report... I think that shows how the government is very positive that crypto adoption one day will grow.

We should not overlook this potential problem in the future, because we know that blockchain technology can greatly benefit a country. In particular, every transaction here will be transparent that will help prevent corrupt government officials from taking advantage of the project that should have the funds allotted. There is a possibility that China's actions will be followed by other countries too, so this is what we are preparing for and hopefully it will not happen.
