I don't think he would actually reveal the information that he is Satoshi on his deathbed if he was actually Satoshi, there would be blunders, people would try to steal his devices, and try to find keys to his wallet which would make the trust on bitcoin a lot less than it is actually now and if someone would have gained access to his wallet, bam, bitcoin would have plummet. While it's a very very little possibility that Jobs might be Satoshi, as you said, lots of famous people died at that time who could be the same.

I do think so too, if Steve Jobs was satoshi then some telltale signs should have been seen by some of his colleagues that he was doing another grand side project.

I always find it hilarious when people try to predict who Satoshi is without any sort of proof or evidence to back up their wild claims. Op seems to be craving attention through this thread. The title itself is hilarious.

I don't believe Satoshi is dead. I believe that whoever Satoshi is clearly doesn't crave popularity due to which I would rule out all celebrities like Jobs, Gates etc.

He/she probably likes living in seclusion. This is just a wild theory that popped up in my head sometime back.

I don't think it's boring lol, it's one of the most interesting mysteries, not just limited to the forum but in the entire world. Theories specially the wild ones really are fun to hear about, since Satoshi disappeared without leaving any trace, it makes sense for people to talk about it and build their theories because disappearing just like that isn't so easy in the world of internet, it needs really smartness, and Satoshi was/is damn smart. The whole point of decentralization does not mean that the creator should be hidden  . There are thousands of tokens and coins in existence and many of the developers are celebrities in the cryptocurrency space and everyone is having their free choices.

Before Steve Jobs passes away, he was like looking for alternative for cure his sickness and I doubt that he has the idea of bitcoin that time as he was travelling in the East to look for the cure. Woz was retired that time and I also think that he is no longer in the coding because he is already like billionaire in 2010 and probably looking for other companies to be a venture capitalist. All the dates must be coincidence in my opinion.

Steve Jobs already had a lot of things to do before he died, I'm not condemning your theory but there is 99% likeliness that this is false and misleading. I believe Stave Jobs had relatives that could have said a few things about him being the inventor of Bitcoin if he was the one behind the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto. I have always considered that he may not be just one person, I am not in favor of ideas like FBI created this or whatever, that doesn't look possible to me neither, but it looks like it could be a work from few people that got together. Think of it like any other business that started in someone's garage, that was something that allowed people to actually end up building huge things, but it was just few people, I think same could be here as well.

Maybe 5 friends or so got together and built this and each used their specialty on it to make the previous versions better and finally got to a great product? That seems quite plausible to me. But if it was just one person that did this, that means that we are talking about one of the biggest geniuses in the world, I don't know if he is still alive or not, but if he is, he must also be rich because he didn't want any part of this.

Steve jobs wasn't a technical mastermind in that way, also whoever Satoshi was had strong opinions on the correct structure to macro economics, global reserve currencies and other related topics.   I think that's fairly well established as true, also the timing to the start of Bitcoin matches the QE programs that occurred and have never stopped since.    We could conclude he is not Japanese from this perhaps as Japan already had QE for quite some time.
   Obviously Steve Jobs awesome dude but in another way, I dont think he fits the profile.   I often thought Satoshi could also be a cover for more then one person and they shared a multi key between themselves hence why access to funds was not an issue as they never agreed collectively to move funds after BTC took off.
